NEW 2023 Surron Test Ride & Unlocking Top Speed!

[Music] e what is going on guys welcome back it has been a minute since I've done kind of like a vlog Style video and held a camera in front of my face so if I'm a little rusty just don't mind me but what who even cares about that we have got a siron on the way a siron is being delivered to my place right now what really sucks is it has been absolutely beautiful all week 75 80° weather and then today it is nothing but nasty cold and rainy and tomorrow we're supposed to get snow welcome to Ohio hopefully it stops raining just enough so I can get this thing out at least take it around the block or something and what do you know package has arrived all right guys there she is so without further Ado we're going to go ahead and get this thing unboxed and put together and go out on our first test ride with it this is just going to be like a super quick 30 second time lapse of me unboxing it and then we're going to get right into the ride next week I will be posting a full in-depth un unboxing video of the suron but for now we're going to hit that time lapse and then we're going to get on the ride so let's [Music] [Applause] [Music] go [Music] all right this will be the first ride on the suron 100% o all right so we're in kilometers I'm going to go ahead and show you guys how to get this into milous per hour so you turn the key off little red button hold it down put the key in turn it hold it for 3 seconds and it'll switch over so I haven't unlocked this bike yet I want to leave it just how it is take it out do a few test runs on it get a feel for it for a little bit and then I'll come back clip the wire unlock the top speed and then we'll go out and do another rip not going to really get to ride much cuz it's kind of chilly and everything's wet but I got to get out on this thing for a minute all right let's see what this thing's all about all right so we are still in eco mode a little off-road this thing rides so smooth I'm literally mind blown it handles bumps very well let's go ahead and grab a top speed real quick Full Throttle 30 m hour all right so in eco mode it tops out at 30 mes hour let's go ahead and put it in sport mode oh oh move massive difference but we're still at 30 mph but man the difference in sport mode and the EP mode sport mode pulls so much harder but it still tops out at 30 I literally just put my foot forward to downshift this is going to be so weird to get used to well now that I've roded around a little bit and kind of got used to it in both modes we're going to go back and cut the wire so we can get top speed on this thing time to unleash the all right we're going to go ahead and unlock this siron so we can get a top speed so let's go ahead and lift the lid kick the breaker off unplug the battery there and the power and then uh what we're going to do is we're going to slice back this uh this plastic sleeve and there is a green looped wire in here we're going to snip and then put heat shrink on the ends of both and tape everything back up and then uh that's pretty much it so let me go get some tools and then we'll go ahead and do this let's go ahead and splice this back a little bit there we go there she is go ahead and snip it got two pieces of heat shrink here got [Music] one smash that together and throw this other one on now we can tuck these wires back down in this Loom and then and go ahead and tape this up like nothing even happened now all we got to do plug everything back up break her on and we are ready to go for another rip all right just like that she's unlocked we're going to go take it on another test ride let's start in back in EP mode all right so it's now unlocked we're in EP mode topped out still doing 30 mph let's see what sport mode tops out at now a I didn't have enough room Hello Kitty what is this guy doing I don't even think he heard me we're going to get a top speed run on this road all right let's get it 45 46 47 so 46 47 m an hour and that's that's about it which that is uh that is plenty enough buddy I can definitely see where some wider pegs will be coming in handy with this thing for sure all right let's try wheelie okay some little circle wheelies going down okay I'm just not used to the handbrake stuff definitely feels different that's a fact it's so weird not having a handbrake man or not having a foot break I have Rich for this foot break over and over again it's so much fun though definitely going to take some getting used to that's for sure but it's fun look at this just right up on the curb pulls up wheelie like it's nothing it's kind of stupid how much power it has for real the brakes are fire I need to get some fat Sumo tires on the back of this thing I'm not used to these skinnies anyways guys I know this wasn't like a crazy long video but um we're uh we're going to make our way back to the house it's getting kind of cold plus I'm about to eat some dinner and I got some YouTube stuff to do so uh this thing is absolutely awesome I have not had this much fun in a long time on like a bicycle Electric power bicycle so we're ending this video with 87% all the riding we did well I cut out a lot of the riding but we rode for probably I'd say a good hour and it dropped uh to 87% so we lost 133% I can't wait to get out and actually make a full day video about it and go out and do some exploring and whatnot it's going to be a great time also can't wait to actually get comfortable on it to where I'm doing wheelies and knee knockers and get used to this handbrake so I can jump around on the seat and whatnot
