Never Before Seen Wedding Footage: Cheers to 12 Years - Meet The Mitchells

[Music] this is [Music] [Applause] guys so you know your boy was put to the test right and you know your boy delivered right tammy this feel like a proposal what did you do i went ahead and i booked a weekend not for two for few tessies involved what i guess my tummy 4 30 to the afternoon when we arrive it's going to be a turtle hutch what happened she has one [Music] hi guys i did it guys i did it shocking i was able to whisk her off into paradise on very short notice obviously mommy is stepping up um carrying the kids to school if you guys see this on a monday and this morning um but we're here grandma we're here should we tell them where we are our favorite spot we're at jamaica in people so you know it's our it's our spot i am almost 99 sure that this is where atlas was what they call a conceived or is that yeah so it's a very special place don't get any ideas yeah yeah it is a special place to us we the first time we came here was for our anniversary um and i remember tessie gifted it to us and ever since you know we've come back a couple times since and it's it's remained one of our favorite places ever um i always feel like there's something to discover here tessie is here as well jesse and brandon are here so we're having our birthday bursary together so it's even more special yes um and something that was very exciting is that the turtle release happened the turrets are released every time we've come here quite a few times and we've never been able to time the territory so this time around we got a chance to see 69 david turtles be released one didn't make it the egg um it was it never fully yeah you never have to tell him that it was that that's the truth sometimes they don't all make it yes it was actually um 70 but then it ended up to be 69. there's one that got crushed and tommy said why is 69 should we count again but yeah so um so that was good you can show them so i'm gonna show them sometime i'm actually sure they want to happen okay yeah so that was lovely it was so lovely i mean it it was even a a significant you know my style already when it comes to nature i always say there's always something in there there's always a moral there's always um some you know something that i can dig into and i was just like wow there is a guiding force you know people even if you don't hear of us there is something guiding you to where you need to go because these turtles have all just come out of the sun all of them never see light yet never see light yet and every single one of them all 69 headed headed straight into the water and for the reef where that is the the promised land for them you know and and the most dangerous part of the journey the guy was telling us is the journey to the reef once they get to the reef i'll let them survive it was all kind of mind you i was a little on the tulip while i was at charlie was chatting beard i was begging tessie to sing moana you know things they were crying there is it's wild though but it was it was a moment and um these moments are joy for us you know and so special after this morning we were like i hope everybody needed to degree yo absolutely cheers to 12 years it worked people it worked we made it we made it and we no mean in the the comment section you guys turned up in the comment section and we had to pull wallpaper strings and dig dig deep deep deep in some vault and blow off some thing and some decent and make some link or whatever whatever so thanks to all of who helped us to get this footage this footage is not enormous for these people not now clean footage like oh with the phone they might record no this is like we have to give them the backstory okay so about 11 years ago we were approached to film a reality show right so i see a long time we are flirting with the idea yeah people were like you guys should have a show yeah um so we shot these pilots years and years ago it was a year after we got married and it never saw the later day obviously and we have that footage so it was a pilot it was but the pilot was really recapping our wedding day yeah so the one of the most um memorable one of the most important momentous days for us is what we are going to show you guys nobody has ever seen this footage like literally like never before seen footage even of our weddings that are photos of our wedding but there there isn't any real like footage out there in fact to be honest today guys this is the only footage we have of our wedding day because we don't have the original tape yes our tv there was a dvd and there quality is not very good it's shot in sd it's it was the highest at the time 7 20 so don't be watching this on your tv because this might be a little bit blurry yeah it looked like 70s 70s 80s but you know what it's a moment in time it was years and years ago and you know we really hope that you guys enjoyed we certainly did it because you'll see our younger win and tammy yeah this was when i was 28 i'm 29. i got right and then we did the pilot a year later so it's a third year will win 30 year old and the 27 year old tammy mm-hmm and a definitely younger version of us yeah yeah yeah that's still us still us there is no jackson no atlas no exactly only geo yo yo and i think that was why when i would have forgotten alex yeah yeah okay yeah yeah yeah see the video yeah i hope you guys enjoy it i win take and um then somebody's like yo tommy you know wayne and blah blah blah and i was like yo you know somebody um no tell the truth what you really said what made you say you know someone really wanna do a song with your sister no i said you did no you said with your sister i was like okay no you fooled me i said no you didn't are you no you never said you are assistant you said what is this stuff i said okay marshall don't rape me it's all right no that was just like nice to meet you goodbye putting them out he wasn't even on the scene tessa didn't even have a song yet to love and to to cherish to death do a spirit until death do us according to god's holy ordinance according to god's holy ordinance and there to do and there to do i give you my pledge thank you my pledge because we built a very solid friendship and and that took a good while like many years we were afraid we're friends for years before any kind of like really like feelings and development you know what i mean likings and mushy motion [Music] uh that's not true no but i mean probably on the first the first time when i worked with her i was like i really got to know her [Music] do [Music] [Music] a lot of smiles i don't know like i said it was just you know we just hung out all the time and then you know we used to talk a lot though [Music] yeah are you nervous about what i'm gonna say no no you look nervous anyway i just knew that he we yeah we used to talk a lot and i was like because i used to i didn't know how like deep he was like you know i thought he was a very on the surface person and the more i spoke to him the more i realized that he was actually yeah i did and i thought that you know when i got the first time here it is anyways on the surface person like you were just on the surface like i didn't think that you know because you know you're very like well you're very smart and you know a lot about a lot of things which i didn't know you know like politics religion you know stuff like that and i didn't know good comeback thank you [Music] and um so yeah those things made me realize that he was like and he was like an onion you know like a lot of layers you ever caught a onion we could cry which you can are like to sometimes if there be any man or woman here that knows any cause why the two should not be bound together in holy matrimony please declare it now for forever for your peace [Laughter] the reason why we got married is because i thought i had the perfect girl because you know why in my world um can i start over no you have to keep going no no no no no i have to start over one more time to show the world what we mean to each other to finally make that bold statement of love and commitment once and for all without reservation or hesitation i hereby declare my undying love for you while i stand here i wholly and positively profess with not an ounce of doubt in any part of my mind spirit or body that it is you and only you who i will dedicate myself my time and all my energies i will be your shield i will guard you and protect you against the ears of life while at the same time celebrate and enjoy the richest blessings that life shall offer us let us live a love that is true and here and build our bond forever more let me tell you why i married her yeah i do admire her because she's like everything she is personality she's humor she is a great friend she's intelligent she is talented she's a great mother she proved that we with with how she handles my son who is not really her son but it's really her son um she's just everything so i i fulfilling my life with music and loving me without end i promise to stand by your side forever loving and faithful i not only stand here and promise to be a loving and faithful wife but i promise to always be patient loving and caring to jio i love him as if he were my own and i promise to always be there for him to listen to him advise him and love him until the end of time i promise to love you unconditionally to support you in your goals to honor and respect you to laugh with you and to cry with you and to cherish you i give you my hand i give you my heart i give you my love i am yours and ever shall it be [Music] we didn't talk um the marriage thing and saying um i never mentioned this don't let the people feel like i'm that type of person because i'm not i'm not like anyway back to business i married wayne for a few reasons um he is my best friend like he's the one person that i can like go to and be very honest with and he will be as honest and supportive as they get and he's very good at like you know showing his emotions as well too with me and he makes me feel very safe and secure and he's funny and smart and he knows more than me which is something that i always wanted in my husband for somebody who could like teach me and and and like you know he knows up so much about so many things like really and truly like a very smart man yeah i'm bringing a good enough yeah really really hot she was like you're so handsome i was like hi yay so much so that like i forgot to kiss my parents like because they both want me down the aisle and i was so excited to see where it was kind of ran like i forgot to kiss them and it's something i feel bad about what you say like you know you're supposed to say i love you i love you i was just like bye [Music] it's been good and and and um we've remained the same people you know so it's not like i all of a sudden became mrs and you became mister yeah marriage marriage keeps the relationship more level because i mean like you have a force you know you can't let's get it deal with things like that and drive grill you know what i mean like you know what i mean you have to have that responsibility and and and you're responsible for each other now like you're each other's keeper you know to some extent and um it's been smooth sailing so far i mean i mean we're not going so far you know i mean i yeah we still have our ups and downs too though it's not like we're just you know yeah no floating through like you know but we would deal with things as they come and we're normal people so just like whatever i mean i'm sure other couples you know what they fight about we fight about yeah yeah but more time off aware i thought man yeah but i think she going with more time yeah as you can see so does he [Music] [Music] [Music] he's not too bothersome yeah she's not that bad enough she's not about it i don't have to do it just i just have to imagine it and you're gonna i don't know what to imagine let's do it same thing let's use it santa that is so nice that is nice thank you love me yeah the voice oh i um i especially love the followers yeah because my voice the balls i wrote were some parts were from this beautiful poem that um that says that again no i can't remember it was a beautiful point that the beginning part of my voice was taken from and then i didn't know anything obviously and your voice were beautiful too yeah and we stuck to those balls we printed out the balls and we had them by our bedside table for years i think the mine's still there yeah you know cheers to 12 years before i go tell me i want to do something symbolic of the trust that we need to have for each other no not the cliff but let's jump into the pool right now no let's do it no no no no i don't you have not let no no pockets okay i don't okay you're gonna jump in like this i'm gonna jump in just like this because we need to show each other that we um you know we still have to remember the excitement that we need to have the spontaneity that we need to have for life trust [Laughter] all right guys so you know we love you guys um we're gonna go get drunk [Laughter] and one more day let's go this is
