[Music] hey guys welcome to gab games today we are going to be doing a solo run through of nemesis from awakened realms oh yes I've got a solo game set up and ready I shall be using the soldier and the pilot and I have selected the objectives we have the emergency postmortem we need to place the blue character course object in the surgery room that is that guy there the dead body that we found when we came out of our hibernation chambers and then once we've got him safely in the surgery our destination is earth the ship must reach earth so our here on this ship the nemesis there are multiple rooms one of these will be the surgery that we need to take that body - and then we must get to the back of the ship and we must check the status of all three engines and make sure that they are working two out of three is enough to get us home and ok so as long as two of those engines are working we'll be fine and we need to head to the front of the ship we need to check the coordinates and see where we are headed and then change our direction if need be we have 15 hours until the hyperdrive that makes the jump so if that time the engines aren't working the ship will blow and if we haven't changed the coordinates we'll be heading to the wrong place all sounds quite simple except what do to kill this man I guess we're going to find out now as we have a solo run-through of Nemesis so first thing we need to do is draw five cards into our hand - three or five so the soldier has the first player marker so we'll be going first so we've got taking aim now there's a load of basic actions to do like moving shooting attacking trading picking things up and all we need to do is just discard any one of these cards from our hand to perform a basic action otherwise we can do the cost that is written on these cards and none of these actually have a cost I've got a bit confused there and you can see the cost there is zero so we can do all of these for nothing now there's also one other basic action which is moving carefully moving silently which will cost us two actions to discard but it means that we get to choose where the noise is coming from so every time we move into a new room we have the vowel noise dice and then place it on the corresponding corridor if we get two noise counters in any one corridor then some ink is coming right so let's start shall we I have got an assault rifle and they represent the ammos look a five bullets in that gun and then we've got a couple of extra items that we can unlock by doing the quest so we can go to the armory and we can activate the auto loader or we can discard tools or duct tape to activate the armor sorry that's our we're gonna work alright so I think basically the first best thing to do is to start searching let's try we need to find that surgery room so I will discard nerves of steel it's basically if I wanted to play this for its actual card ability discard this card during a surprise attack to ignore the effects I feel like I'm not going to get jobs this round who knows but I'm going to get rid of it and use that to do a basic move action so what I'm going to do is I think I'm going to move this way so we're going to come down this corridor here so what we do is we flip and we have the canteen now every room has a status marker on it and we flip that to see what that is okay so the top number is how many weapons are in that room now in a solo game you half the number rounded up so that would be one and there's a lot mark here to say so you twist the room to show that there is one item in this room so once we search affirm them would twist it to zero and show that there's nothing in there at the moment there's one now this shows the door icon which means that a bulkhead door has slammed behind us as we've entered the room so bang so immediately from the get-go we've been cut off the team's been split so not good you kind of want to make want to stay together but in such a crazy game who knows it may be good to go the other way with the pilot and try and find that a surgery spare not might be the best option here you take two actions per turn and you can take one action and pass or you can just pass once both characters or all players have passed then it's the end of the round and then we will go through the event phase where some of the nastiest stuff will happen and so for my second action I think as I have seen obviously I've got some search cards everything to have to search cards so let's discard that and search the room so it doesn't cost any additional so that would be additional to the card that you are discarding so zero additionals just the one card to search so we reduced the item counter by one for two item cards of the same color of the room and pick one in the sky so we will flip that to zero so the canteen is now empty and it is green so if we come over here we have three different decks and you've got the sort of ammo gun deck we've got the gears and tall ghek and then we've got the first day you cut it down so this is a green room and as the first aid icon so I'm gonna be drawing two cards from here so we've got synthetic food so one use only two action card from your deck and we've also got use a closed discard a slight marker or dress a serious wound oh okay that's really nice okay so Amelie I believe I'm just going to get rid of the synthetic food put that in a discard pile and then we are going to take this and we are going to hold on to hold on to that now the game comes with these holders there's five in the game one for every player if you're playing five players and therefore holding stuff and keeping things secret from the other players because much as this can be cooperative it's kind of semi cooperative you've got your own kind of agendas and so I'm just gonna I put that down there next to my bits and pieces so I'd have to discard one action card to do that that's what that means so that's my two actions from there so we will come over to the pilot who will now draw five cards two three four five now oh saying I did forget sorry is the noise dice so we've got a black d-10 and we are going to roll that every time I like that so there we go so - so we come over here and we've got our newest marker so we find corridor that's labeled - just this one here with there's a noise marker owner so if there's ever - in there and that means an encounter okay alright save the pilot so I believe so so I've got a demolition card here destroyed one closed door in a corridor connected to the room you're in so we could just break that door down immediately and join back up and we've got some computer skills open or closed one door in the corridor connected to the room so we could actually just open it or if you're gonna run with a computer use it to a maximum without paying its cost and so a lot of them talk a little computer icons on them so you do that pilot thinks I'm a pilot and if you're working in a cockpit or one with a computer use it will match that pain it's cost very nice or if you're in a room with a computer check the coordinates so we can check the coordinates of where the ship is going all the way up there from any room that's got a computer so really handy so we're going to keep hold of that interruption so this is more of a multiplayer card so you discard this card to cancel any action performed by another player in the room so that is kind of just a throwaway card and then the last one we've got is repairs discard of malfunction mock from the room you're in a repair break the engine in the engine run you in so that'll be handy once we get there so I think I'm going to do is just gonna do move and I think we gotta go down to the other room so let's get rid of the demolition card we will use the demolition card discard that and we will head down this way so that and we've got hatch so this is a control system to unlock the escape pods so there's one to escape pods and either side of the ship there so we can now unlock those escape pods for the cost of two cards now see we'll go ahead oh silent that's good so that is the silent symbol and one item so that means we don't have to roll for noise for going down that corridor really nice okay second action with the pilot seeing as we got so quiet there let's just let's keep moving let's move down let's go check the engines I think maybe a good idea is I've got a computer in there that's not a computer this wicked Y so let's play that interruption cause we'll discard the interruption card and we will use that to move and I think we'll move down this corridor here and we'll flip it into nest oh so the nest market is a malfunction one and there are no items that become function that so that's just shocked and [Music] so and there is an S over here is the intruder board and we have this is the nest here so there's five eggs in there so for an action we can pick up an egg what you can do here is the intruders have three different weaknesses the character corpse the intruders egg and the intruder carcass what we do is we take those to the laboratory and we can reveal weaknesses that will help us in the battle against the intruders okay very handy see that's the end of her so I'm going we come back over to the soldier so what happens is the soldier now has three cards so this is how it works like to kind of at a time until we've either run out we just want to pass so looking here and oh I need to roll for noise don't I well for noise and that is three awesome okay so I will remember that okay so we've got a search a demolition and a taking aim card left I think just keep searching maybe a good idea maybe if we come to this room here over this way and then round seems like a good idea I'll go be careful though because it was already some noise there so if I go into this room and I roll that dice and there's it and it comes up to then I'm in trouble so maybe I'll tell you what let's show you the other action so I tell you what is I'm going to get rid of the demolition and the taking aim or just got two of them to move carefully so that means I can move down to here will flip this there's the laboratory to analyze those objects I was talking about and it's got one thing on it which is already on and unfortunately the room is on fire she's not great so if you end your turn in a room with some fire we're gonna start taking some damage so we need to immediately kind of thought moving on and there are fire controls it out there where we can put that out so immediately so I moved so I moved quietly that's what happened now I get to choose because though you just got a to cause to move quietly I get to choose where this goes so let's place it there shall we excellent right and then for my second action I'm gonna have to just discard the search card to move again and get the hell out of there down for the engine room of engine room 1 so let's roll for noise and that's a 1 so that is literally in the corridor so now you may notice there's a 2 and a 3 here with a red dot that's kind of the that's the remember to call it in this game but that's like the the air vent systems the vents so if ever with rolled that over here is the vent thing and so we place the noise marker there so a lot of rooms have that connection so that's a very dangerous place to start making noise because it could be from anywhere I could put one in from here and then obviously over here there could be one put in and it'll go to the same place and cause intruders to be jumping out so that just shows the connections above of rooms and stuff through the air vents that they're running around in right so now I've got the got these blare cards so now I'm going to flip it because I passed because I have no more cards so now it's up to pilot to keep playing or class as well I guess as I'm there we might as well go check that engine so let's get rid of let's get rid of it I want to keep I keep the piloting because that's how and I kinda wanna keep repairs in case the end is broken so yeah so let's get rid of a lot of computer skills so we'll discard that to move down into engine item three we will roll for noise ooh okay that's the danger icon so what that means is that there is noise has to be put in every corridor that doesn't already have noise in my room so one and two one and one and then there's one in the docks which we'll put here okay so that's not good there's a lot of noise coming from engine room three which hopefully means that the engine is working so we'll we'll see we'll see so for my second action okay so it's gonna save me two cards to check the engine and then that means I'll have to get rid of my repair card so I may not I may just sit on the engine and pass yeah so because if I passed I get to keep these cards and then just draw up the five on the next round so I'm going to do that so I'm gonna keep those and then I'm going to fill that to say hey I've passed as well so now that we both pass we now move on to the event phase so fourteen hours until hyperdrive initiate there is a self-destruct sequence here but that hasn't been initiated yes we don't move that down and intruders then attack there aren't any Oh true this out and then fire damage two intruders there are no intruders again within fire and then we resolve the event card so over here is the event deck so we clip the top one now what we do is the first part is shows movement this is how the intruders move around the board so these symbols all match the different kinds of intruders so that's an adult and that's a creep a breeder and that's the queen so that means all three of those will move down corridor three from the room they are in so that's how the intruders move around the ship but there aren't any so we good so then we come down to evacuation pod ejection remove God remove one escape pod token with the lowest number remove this event from the game of reshuffle the event deck including the discard pile oh no so we are going to get rid of so number one escape pod is has just shut off it's just malfunctions and disappeared so we are only down to one escape pod and then we remove this code from the game I says shuffle the event but okay so that was the event phase and then the last part of the event oh sorry is the intruder bag development so here we have a bag a lovely bag and it has a load of tokens in it and these are all the aliens that are running around on this ship at the moment in the darkness what we do at the end of the round is we draw one and then we advance it so this shows aliens sort of growing so let's have a look shall we so we're going to pull one out and it's a larvae so in the manual I'm gonna check because I didn't never remember but I'm pretty sure the larvae we swap it for an adult and so if we look here we're looking do bear with me find the right page okay I found it so we got a larvae so says remove this token from the intruder bag and add one adult to the intruder bag so we will take that away so I have to get the box out because they're all here and we're going to grab an adult and we are going to set it into the bag so basically what happened is one of those little larvae sirs just grown fantastic right and that is the end of the then play so then we move back around to the player phase and so the first player marker moves over to the pilot and we bra draw back up to five action cards so I still got two so we get three four five okie-dokie right so we kept our repairs our pies in so now we've got some a search card knowledge of the ship open or close one door two corridor connected to the room you were in look at one unexplored room tiles and we turn it face down without looking at the exploration token very nice and then also we have got old friend if you are in a working room without a computer uses room action without paying its cost okay so what we want to do is check the status of Engine three so let's get rid of old friend and knowledge of the ship I'm going to chuck those I don't feel like I'm going to use those just yet and we are going to look at the status of his engine it is working fantastic so Engine three is working that's one out of two that we need to be working okay next action for the pilot so I'm scared because there's noise around me we may have to do a careful movement called burning through these cards though we've have to drop to two sir look at the engine and drop to do this I want to find a room of the computer okay I was about to say I'm gonna risk it and just go normally oh I don't know I don't know I mean it's gonna end the pilots around pretty quickly okay let's go for it let's go for it quick we're gonna go we're gonna go cursory we're gonna drop those to keep the piloting card okay that's good for checking the coordinates so we're going to carefully move from engine room three that's why I was all noisy cuz and we've got the armory fantastic pan the armory is broken so that is the malfunction marker so we are going to take a malfunction token and place on there so basically if there's malfunction token place it over that and because you can't use the ability of the room there is three we have it rounded up so that would be two items in that room and then we can get rid of that so just let you know we could suspend we can spend two cars to recharge your energy weapons once that's working so all our weapons are energy weapons so you can see it has energy weapons shotgun energy weapon assault rifle so basically what it means is discard two cards and back up to your ammo limit which is really nice and now we need to place a noise circuit I went slowly so I choose so I'm gonna go there in that corridor to engine room to because I'm not going that way I'm gonna head back up this way I think alright so that was the pilots turn so we're going to come back to the soldier the sword has no cards in hand I'm gonna flip this class cards Nayla so we need to door five say I believe they start with tens and one two three or five yeah so we've got basic repairs we've got covering fire which isn't very good when those aliens come out we've got that interruption card which is no good in a solo game so just a basic card to chuck a rest so you scan all your contamination cards in your hand to remove all the infected cards so you're gonna get times when you're going to get infected you're getting a bit and you're going to have to take an infection card that's the deck over there and once you have some of those near and they basically the access cards in your hand for your limit but you can't discard them to do anything they just clog up your hand so doing this rest card means that you can look for infected ones and then get rid of them and how do you do that well there's this a great scanner here so you follow this procedure on the back and it will you slide the card in and it will show up if you're infected to the beautiful little mechanical of the last card we got there is full auto so discard all ammo from your rifle to perform a shoe action you did one additional injury for every two ammo discarded even if you miss so really helpful when those bigger guys come out but what are we gonna do what are we gonna do we don't even from one so I guess the best thing to do now is just so I've made sure that the ship is up and running is check the engines so I'm going to discard full auto there's nothing really happening in a moment and rest cuz there's no contamination and we are going to check engine one here's working Wow honestly these were randomly shuffled into hell so two of the three engines are working we don't need to bother checking engine two because we know two of them are working so we know as soon as the ship hits to hyperdrive and to make the jump is going to go and it's not going to blow up we just need to go find out where it's heading to it make sure it's heading to half right so for a second action we need to get moving now my issue here that's why I know there's a room uncovered here so let's go to that room now I'm just going to stop one because there's no noise around that room so it's fairly safe to go running down there god covering fire again not really needing any shooting combat cards at the moment may live to regret that so let's go up that corridor and we've got evacuation section so this is how you get to the escape pod so use this so to Section AE unfortunately section a was where our escape pod jettisoned from earlier when it malfunctioned we actually need on the other side eight if we would want it to escape and an escape pod there are reasons that you would rather escape an escape pod maybe you you're an objective was to destroy the ship blow the ship up so you want to get out in an escape pod instead of going back to the hypersleep right and that room is malfunction it's got two on it so that means there so it's one item in there and it is malfunction so we couldn't enter the escape pod until that's fixed and then we gotta roll for noise one okay so that is there perfect behind that's what we want I want to be behind this okay so that was my that was the soldiers two actions so we come over to the pilot I probably got one card left the piloting card again she's not in a room with a computer none of these rooms actually have computer waiting the laboratory to have their that's the computer icon okay so it may be worth just moving and discarding this so I think I'm gonna do that in a scarred and we're just going to move over to this hatch and then we're gonna roll for noise wherever I put the dice there it is and to so that's gonna go there and even behind us and then I'm gonna have the pass I don't have any more cards to take the second action so my action will be depart so I'm gonna come back over to the soldier and we've got basic repairs and interruption so I guess I just realized door door that door that door is gonna be in my way and I can't really come around so I could go here and come around here but this laboratory is on fire so and I'm too away so I end my turn there so I would take a wound and these guys can't take a lot this is their wound jar so you think one wound to like words and they take a serious wound the moment you have to take three serious Williams you die or is three serious wounds and then a full of serious wound is the end of your bed oh no let me just check that for you okay check so if you have three serious wounds and then you were to gain and even a light wound or another serious wound you would die so any any kind of wound after would be the end of you um okay so what are we gonna do what are we in I guess we could move to the canteen move to move to the canteen and then we would have to shuffle and draw and hope we get something that can break the door down I hope the pilot can do it on the other side I think that's our best move so let's go let's go silently as well so this is good drop both of those two moves quietly and so we're going to move along there and then I'm going to choose the place the noise marker behind us in that corridor there so you can see though a lot of noise happening the back of the ship but we're fully explored we know the engine working so we're moving we're moving we need to check the middle section hopefully I'm waking up to the front section you know problem with this is we at one point will have to go back through and that's when things start going wrong that's when we start making too much noise but for now that is both characters past so we move on to the event phase so just to run through it again with you it starts weaved a time marker so we're down to 13 then it would be self-destruct but nothing then an intruder attacks intruder fire damage and then we move on to the event phase of the event card so here we have the movement so the creepers and the adults would move down corridor four and then we've got lurkin remove all intruders which are not in a room with any character from the board and probe read their respective tokens into the intruder bag okay so if any aliens get caught back behind us and the too far behind there's a car that's going to put them back in the bag so they can come out sort of more around where we are but for now that's not going to do anything for us which is great okay so now we need to do the bag development so we need to take the bag we need to draw another car one from it and it's an adult so when adult when you put an adult out on the page again I really wish it to the one thing around their game they need this on a reference card the only one thing you need to keep going back to the rule to check okay so an add-on all players role for noise in order if a player's character is in combat with an intruder this player does not perform a noise well but turn the adult into the toka to the bag okay so that goes back into the bag and then we all role for noise so this could be very very deadly so let's start with the first layer so to start with the pilot rolled to know so that means the second noise token goes in there and we have to draw and intruder okay so first thing happened is we remove all noise tokens that are adjacent to that room which is a one good thing including that three signs that is up there so we can get rid of that and put those back okay right I just grabbed that token back out again because I forgot there are numbers on the back which we need before throwing their back in so first thinking is removed all the noise and oh so sorry sorry sorry no so what I do is we need to draw from the bag not the one that we just did a minute ago for the thing sorry that was my mistake so we're gonna draw and it's an adult so an adult has jumped out so we are going to place the animal there oh my god look at him beautiful and hard wait we painting these guys so please bear in mind that now we get to see if they get to do a surprise attack so that's where we check the number on the back so that one that says three if the number of action cards in my hand is lower than that number then a surprise attack occurs so this is where you've got to be careful about keeping hold of cards now I have no cards in my hand cuz it was the end of the round so he does surprise attack me so when they attack what we do is we come over the intruder attack now it may be okay but what we do is we draw oh and then along here with the icons here sorry is the icon so if they match the intruder that is attacking you then they go ahead and do it sorry that is a retreat action for movement and right so this is an adult and this attack you mean that is the adults in their gonna bite me if the character has two serious wounds they die if not they suffer a serious way so you can see how dangerous these aliens are and how quick they can hurt these injuries as well so we're going to discard that so we gain a serious wound I'm gonna grab a marker and we are going to place oh no we don't need a marker that's a serious wound so we are going to draw from here okay and they got my legs from now on the cost of your escape movement action is two so we are going to hold on to that so I've now got bad legs any tokens that you drew put them on the intruder board cuz as we saw earlier they might have asked them to put them back in right so now that was just the point of fun we need to also do it for the soldier as well who is looking quite deadly as well so we got one oh we're lucky that's that lose there or that corridor there so we're okay say nothing jumping out there okay sorry about that I didn't put my phone on silent right so now for the first intruder has appeared what we now must do is choose one of these objectives and discard the other so seems we haven't got the surgery room yeah I think we're going to get rid of emergency postmortem rid of that and then we're just going to go destination earth so this ship must reach earth so we know the engines going so we just need to check on those coordinates all right so that is moving on to our next round so let's flip those over like that and then we need to shuffle this up and then draw five which I have done okay so we have got search and we've got nerves of steel another search full-auto and the rest so doesn't seem like any of those are going to help with that door that would have been good surprised so that's where you ignore surprise attack effects so that would have been good on the spoiler nothing is gonna break that door down so that was me in a bit of a predicament marker over there well I could get through that fire now actually hopefully other die there's noise all around her I would definitely yeah I would hydrazone trigger and intruder jumping out at me maybe not there is a blank token in the bag but we shall see is it worth the risk don't think it's worth the risk it might be worth the risk otherwise we're just gonna get we're just stuck we're just jammed up against this shut door okay first of it that's not fast and okay so let's get rid of a search card and we are going to run down to the laboratory we are then going to roll the noise dice and it's a three so that means it goes into there so and that is the two so that triggers an encounter so we get to get rid of all of these nor counters from around that room and then we go to the bag and we draw another adult okay but there's another with us sorry [Music] just realized the wrong person idea I yeah you probably caught this but this is on the wrong person isn't it wasn't the soldier was the pilot that got hit with the alias we're gonna move that over to her she didn't have any cards in her hand over so she nothing would have changed so there was no difference there so there we go that's clear that up I heard just got a bit confuse them right so we get another adult so there we go there's an adult out in the room and so I had a three on it and I have four cards in my hand so that means no surprise attack right I want to keep running now this is kind of it I want to stay in this room because of the alien so I mean I hadn't noticed you anyway for the sequel to that so let's get rid of that now clues don't need that so I'm gonna discard that to keep moving and so we're gonna move along there now what happens is when you leave they get to draw an attack card they get an attack on you as you leave let's see oh it's a bite again so again it's the same exact thing so Jared we are going to draw a serious wound for him and it's the arm for him the character has only one hand slot the heavy item object there's two heavier if you if they have two heavy items they must instantly drop one so one of my arms is been bitten brilliant and we're gonna keep going and we found the emergency room and the emergency room are look at that for something's there's two in there and the door shuts behind us blocking that alien from chasing us that is great that couldn't have gone better really and then we have to bowl for noise so you always roll for noise if the room you're going to his empty so to unfortunately that's in front of us but hey not too bad okay at least he is trapped in that room of fire burn okay so that was my two actions with soldier so we come over the pilot and the pilot of two cards there so I'm just going to shuffle and war up to five okay so we have search a rest demolition which is help against that door if I've gone first piloting and repairs okay so we are obviously in a room with an intruder as well so we really need to get to a room with a computer would be handy okay right let's let's move let's move I mean I've got a shotgun I could try try shooting alien show you how combat works yeah why not let's blast him with a shotgun so every time you do at least one injury do one additional injury so this is always good to shotgun so we are going to let's discard I haven't got any attack cards that help me so in the top you'll see which cards can be used in combat and which can't say that icon there means it cannot be used in combat but there is the demolition card can be used in combat and destroying doors so let's just go let's just discard this discard the search one I know there's two in each so let's get rid of the search one has that first discarding as a basic action to do a do an attack mmm so you can do melee as well but melee is very dangerous in this game and you'll end up just getting infected so there's always best to try not to get into a melee combat with these guys so we're gonna do is we are going to discard an ammo and then we've got this dice so those two hits that is one here there are blanks and then there are symbols for the aliens so it must match so we are looking for the adult symbol which is that one so there's 1 2 3 so the 50 50 50 chance we're gonna get at least one hit so let's roll and see oh yeah double here so we hit him twice so we are going to grab these damage markers and we're going to place those next to him so that's 2 and then it says every time you do at least one injury do one additional injury so there's another one says 3 so now what we do is we draw from the intruder attack deck and there's a numbers at the top so when I say that one was for tree so he would have run away from the combat that one's for that means he would have 4 wounds and we've only done 3 wounds so he wouldn't die so you never know because it will be different next time I attack him that is a great thing about this game you never know how much damage these guys are actually gonna take or where to hit them to get those sweet spots so we need to flip that card and hope it's a 3 or less and then we've killed that intruder with a blast in the shotgun so here we go yeah look at that so we could discard that that's 3 which matches the damage cubed so we can take those cubes off and that adult intruder is dead fantastic now what we do just go to the carcass tokens so drop that because remember we can take that to the laboratory to analyze for weaknesses so that was perfect yeah great now just to let you know with the Queen and the breeder it's a lot harder to kill so you'll be drawing more than one card and you have to have enough wounds on I think it's three cards two or three cards to be able to kill them so you know very difficult to kill and but that couldn't have gone better so well done pilot you have done is proud so that was her first action as well so second action shame there's not a computer in there because we could have checked it let's go with rest things we didn't take any damage let's go with that and we are gonna move back to the hyper terrarium we're gonna roll for noise three and that's over here okay brilliant so that was not a bad round so back over to the soldier who has in that emergency room door between him and the alien she's fantastic and one no he's in front of us on a roll one two we could get someone else pop out so let's move cautiously shall we so let's drop the combat cards it was a rest card and the full-auto card to move slowly and we've got storage so the storage room so we can search for an item so it doesn't matter here so once that runs out you can discard to keep going broken though say we'll have to fix it before we want to do that and there's two items in there half and that's that means there's one in there and then because we're slowly I will choose to place let's place it in the vent it seems like a dodgy decision but we're gonna keep moving and that's the only other place so gives us a bad choice because it's already a sort of one in the third thanks to the pilot in the hyper Torian okay so for my next action Oh No yeah yeah so one more action I've got one more card so we could just search let's search let's see we find this is the best options for that round for her right and then we are over the past month goes right back to soldier and we got one two three four five cards there to draw I think first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to discard that interruption card to use a clothes that cost one day and we're going to dress one serious wound so we dress in a serious wound it means we just flip it over so it's not cured but it just means it stops that horrible ability that had on it and then we can discard that card okay perfect and for second action think let's move [Music] gonna describe demolition and taking aim to move carefully just we're in a good place so let's just keep going so four and then we have got a shower room so that is good taking a shower that removes slime markers and that has the danger icon on it so we have to put noise into every room Oh every corridor that doesn't already have one adjacent to that room and then it's on three so to round it up and then we can remove that okay so malfunction market in the generator room salt start the self-destruct countdown I'm pretty sure we haven't seen the generator room you know okay remove this event from the game and reshuffle the event disco-pop okay so we can get rid of that card that's fine and then I'm just gonna take the discard pile and shuffle it okay that's that all done so luckily the generator room didn't malfunction because we haven't found it so the self-destruct sequence didn't stop that would have been dangerous I would leave the six turns to finish the game instead of the 11 that we have at the moment okay right so that was the so now we go to the bag and shuffle around shuffle it around and draw and we are drawing a lava so the larvae goes away and then we grab an adult find an adult there's another card and we are sitting happy here we've got away two turns so I'm a just crazy that you just pass do anything yeah this does I say we can do so I'm just gonna pot burn and we're gonna keep that hand and with the rest of Pilate and shuffle in draw five okay right so we need to check these coordinates so we've got the piloting thing we're not going to need that say so let's discard the piloting card and the old friend card let's check those coordinates so at the moment it says B so B is Mars so with moment our destination is Mars so earth is a so we need to do is discard two more cards so something is jumping out of us see it was never going to be easy was never I got too cocky I was thinking oh I got a deal it's really easy we've got a larvae so a lot of his jumped out so so we're gonna here lava lava has jumped out of a high Vittoria I jumped out of the dead body so traumatic there it is the baby has come out the corpse and it's got one and this is the soldier and the soldier luckily it's got a four hand of cards so we don't get a surprise attack now I'm gonna put that on his card what happens we have the larvae is they don't draw from the attack of all they do is I'll actually come and sit on my character card and then there are things that could happen that means that they could insta kill me so it's very dangerous to have lava larvae on you and also I would get infected as well but for the time being we seem to be okay I just need to make sure what we kill it only needs one damage this thing it doesn't matter on the numbers on that it's just one one damage is enough to pop one of those off same as the eggs okay so now I need to roll from noise for the pilot and it's three and of course it would be the only one that bloomin had one alright so again we have to draw from the bag and it's another larvae for the one okay so grab it on the larvae so the babies are coming and she has one card in I am luckily so again no surprise attack thank God right so moving on so move the first bed back to you and you've got one two three four cards to draw add to that one in your hand thinking five and we just need to get gone and we probably need to deal with that larvae though so let's pop a search card down to shoot that larvae in the face with the shot gun so let's remove the last bullet and then we are rolling yep bang hit with the attack beautiful so that larvae is Dom for okay now we just need to move all right so let's do rest and repairs and move quietly backed out of that room so we can choose and we'll put noise back into that corridor there right moving over to the soldier to go with his lover he's got a forehand a five-count I'm just gonna drop one to do a basic shot with the rifle to kill it so we take one bullet off and then we're gonna roll to deal with this larva and that is not gonna do it I believe pair with know that he's gonna do it that's fine so that means any larvae or creepers would take a wound so there we go so that larvae is gone forward as well so they are gone right so for my second action back over think again we're just gonna we're just gonna wait you're gonna sit wait so I'm going to pass and then we're gonna move back over to the soldier oh sorry the pilot and we've got no noise around that room so we are just going to chop down one card run to their roll friend noise plus the noise life so it is and corridor 1 just fine that is behind us there and back over oh wait Sonos focus drop the second card and we're just gonna move back into the high Victorian we're gonna roll for noise it's on the 2 which is the corridor we just came down just fine so we're both back everything's where it needs to be how do we have a scary moment with some larva but we're okay so let's pass all right so nothing to attack no fire to damage moving that down to nine we are one hour away from being able to finish this mission and event card the Argo is moving down corridor for there so it's coming back around he's got two wings on him that fire short-circuit place a malfunction mark on each yellow room with a computer remove this event from the deck okay so malfunction Marcus reach revealed yellow room so we've got the fire control system has a computer on it ding that's the only one yep that's it okay not too bad and then the dreaded bag of doom okay we have got the adult again so let's throw that back in so we need both need to roll for noise which is dangerous because we're both in the same room now so first goes the pilot so gold - and of course that is there so we're gonna remove that and then we're going to get another intruder so we get a blank that is good so we can throw that back in and okay just read the balls and a blank token is not good it means we have to place noise in all corridors die there there you know why bothering kids know what's gonna happen there there and now we've got to do the roll for noise for the soldier just one so let's remove all those again kids he's gonna have someone jump out at him oh yeah hopefully the bank won again or a larvae here's an ad oh there we go okay it's an adult it's to say let's grab an adult an adult has jumped out just as we're trying to go to sleep and that was for the soldier the soldier still has four cards in his hand so it doesn't get a surprise attack and then we're gonna move back onto the round so I'm gonna brown marker over there so we're gonna one card following and luckily is the soldier go first so we can hopefully got some good cards and we can deal with this intruder fairly sharpish looking at all these cards no there were no attack cards in my hand Oh God so what we do is we'll just swap the nerves of steel card to take a normal shot and is each time you do at least one injury deal one additional injury so that's always that so let's get rid of that and then we are gonna roll and that's the other symbol - yep so that's a damage so plus another damage from because of the assault rifle gun and we're going to draw and hope for two or less oh it is my lucky day today oh wow this game is being very nice to me - that intruder which just died immediately - an assault rifle one bullet placed carefully in its head there Wow Wow guys honestly this game is brutal I'm getting really lucky but hey it's not over yet so let's keep going okay right so second action is just gonna pass we're gonna room and because of that other blank so we're going to add something else coming out of this so - so let's get rid of all of the tokens around us because it would put two in there and the first thing is gonna move out okay so that's a fail to get in the hyper term so if we pass that then she would have eaten asleep and done so now we need to go to the dreaded bag I really don't want to say it but it's gonna happen isn't it I think you guys already know you know what's gonna happen that Queen oh no he's an adult isn't at all the way we've been dealing with adults recently say I'm not too scared when hey-ho right and it's a number two on the back so let's bring a doll back into this room pissed off that we just annihilated his fellow brother and she has three cards in our hands so she is not going to get surprised attacked right now we need to deal with it so we got one turn so and she's got no ammo left which is a problem because you definitely don't want to hand to hand is in hand hand matter what happens you have two draws first a infection card just for touching it so and then that could be that could be the end of the game if that's an infected card don't let's do it I want to want to show you sort of try to show you as much of this game as possible sort of stir I'm gonna melee attack him so over here I get you to an infection card so there we go so I think what a contamination card so we can't see if I'm affected unless we put it in the scanner so that goes into my discard pile and so what will happen is that wall then clogged up my hand kind of like a deck search will get rid of the search woman or certain anymore and we will take a bullet off and hopefully we'll do as much don't be the monster there it is there's the ad or symbol so that is one damage plus another one for it being a salt rifle I think are we gonna get lucky are we gonna get a 2 or less again oh we getting over a tree so that alien has just retreated Wow so he saw his fallen brother and how much damage I did to him that he is running so we do is we just grab an event card and we just follow the number on that so one and then we discard it so here is running down corridor number one seem to be a door in the way that's interesting he can't run down that corridor I don't know what happens in this situation what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna draw another event card and then maybe you guys can let me know what happens in that scenario and maybe he just breaks the door down I don't know but we're gonna draw another event and go down a different corridor so corridor for so room so I need to I need to drag her out I need to run so and I can't run because of my leg injury I need to discard two so I'm just going to have to we're gonna scold that and pass oh no this is this is this has gone very wrong so after seven hours intruders attack so the queen is gonna give me a hit so look in yep they've got the Queen Cymbeline for attack to light wounds and gets the contamination card brilliant say it again do more like wounds gosh she is going to be near and we get another contamination guard fine in that goes and then we do an event so breeders and Queen are moving down to Queen is not gonna move because she's in a room with us egg protection resolve an encounter for each character is in the nest or I was carrying an intruder egg okay so no one so that's fine so we can get rid of that okey-dokey right so what we need to do and we need to do the bag okay however this is feeling very empty and oh it's the breeder so that means I'd never play I've never had a game where the breeders come out before in this game yeah you'd never have invited all players well for noise and order okay so it's the same as the another one okay so we all need to roughen noise I'm sure you don't roll for noise if you've got aliens in your room and so yeah I'm pretty sure you don't cuz they're already all there so we're not gonna do that and then we're gonna move so you're on say we got one two three four five so all those contamination crossing in there the last got lost probably having a five card we need to get gone so need to try and drag the Queen away somehow or run out of room I hope she goes the other way so let's drop those two to quietly go there and draw an attack nope so there's no Queen symbol so she doesn't attack me on the way out and I will put a marker there in that room okay and now I'm just going to pulse yep that's all I'm doing I'm gonna pass and hope that the Queen moves down corridor 3 or corridor for or coral one in this situation she would break the door down I don't know I never treat what happened a minute ago but in that situation she would break the door down right so down six hours left no attacks so let's draw ad all back in the bag and then we place the Queen back in the back the Queen has gone because we ran away she's gone this is it this is our chance okay I need to do the bag of doom I don't which means noise why why are you doing this to me gamer say roll oh it's okay danger that means / no he's in any room that doesn't have noise in the corner no huh it's fine oh my god I think this game is just turned we've just turned our luck around right so here we go four hours left here's our five right so we are going to throw two away so we can move quietly in there and place a noise microwave we characters asleep and hide to die so we know from check-in it's a a so we are heading to earth which is fine contamination cards here we go so each a live character you were asleep in the hope to evacuate and escape aboard checks their contamination cards and so the soldier doesn't have any it's our belief we didn't get any with a soldier did we nope mark the pilot has one two three to check for safe we survived the infection didn't kill us and an objective check so if there any characters alive up into this step you only have to check if you have accomplished was an objective each player whose character still lies instead let's check if they accomplish the chosen objective so looking over here destination earth the ship must reach earth which it has so there we go guys that was nemesis a solo run through and we actually won that is a rare thing and I think we've saw quite a lot of the mechanics and so you've got a good sense of how nemesis runs I hope you enjoyed that guys
