it's the Wyoming Cowboys taking on the UCLA Bruins tonight's game is broadcast in high-definition presented by pioneer chair vision [Music] hi everybody Ron Franklin along with Mike Gottfried and welcome 48 hours before the big guy comes down and makes all the little ones happy I think we got an interesting ballgame here tonight and speaking of the kind of weather that you expect at Christmas time Mike it could make a difference in this ballgame tonight very very windy temperatures supposed to drop down to around 30 degrees who does that favor UCLA because of the dominant running game they could control the line of scrimmage Mike we talked to earlier tonight in a cut in about the big guy against the little guy and not just figuratively speaking but literally the offensive line of UCLA against the deep offensive front of the Cowboys could be a difference and talked about one matchup in particular the Bruins are bigger faster stronger it blamed the tackle he's going to be blocking on dusty ha Snyder who's 510 that's stretching him because I towered over him when I talk to him and I'm 511 okay let's go down to the sideline third member of our telecast team as usual Aaron Andrews what do you have for a couple of lineup changes for you on UCLA side of things news not good for wide receiver tap Perry the fifth year seniors suffered a high ankle sprain at Tuesday's practice he is out tonight freshman Brandon Brazil steps in for him at the linebacker position been Laurier was supposed to play in place of the injured junior Spencer Havener he got sent home on Monday for violating team rules so fifth year senior Tim Warfield gets his first collegiate start run okay Aaron stay warm we look forward to hearing from you tonight there's Joe Glen second season as the Wyoming head he won a national title in Division two also another national title in one double-a and really has the Cowboys going in the right direction and across the field from him I think one of the really good young coaches in college football second season at UCLA Carl Darrell record of only 12 and 12 but this ballclub has shown great improvement as the season has gone on take a look at the ball to history for Wyoming four and six all time first appearance in 11 seasons and for UCLA 12 12 and 1 overall they are 10 and 5 in their last 15 bowl appearances big question whoa UCLA play I think they will there comes the kick and it is Marquis and Maurice drew drew will return it right up the middle 2025 breaks it up big [Applause] and a great start for the UCLA Bruins as Ron rocket stopped after a 49-yard returned by the Bruins what a way to get started so the starting quarterback for the UCLA Bruins is Drew Olsen and might talk about him what is the book on the good Walter back football with this offensive team early Ivan Harrison number two the lone setback not five seven one ninety a sophomore UCLA showing blitz and they come with it play-action far sideline got and that's Bonet that takes it out across the 30 to allow the 34 yard line and you need to understand one thing about number 9 23 yards on the reception he's not a burner Mike but he normally drives double coverage he's the best weapon on this offensive football team got great hands in great size 6 1 91 92 but you could see tre Brown the corner on the right there is a man who got turned completely looking at a second down at about 12 and a half to 13 yards sloppy you know Bowl night having a career night here against them as a receiver nothing going right for UCLA three penalties against the
