[Music] [Music] dog [Music] so [Applause] [Applause] [Music] hey getting steeper now so we've made it to the summit or to the eastern summit of stack poly and this place is just incredible absolutely lucked out with the weather it is so beautiful okay now i think it is time to eat [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] we're cruising our way through day four just having our celebratory drinks at the action which is where we're spending the night and i must say it looks really lovely in there so after we finish we're gonna head through the town explore a little bit and see what it has to offer [Music] cheers [Music] just got done at the seafood track in liverpool and that was probably the most fresh seafood wrap i've ever had in my life probably the nicest wrap i've had in my life everything inside the wrap complemented the fish really well and uh yeah you see that place all over every blog every video about the north coast 500 and you can see why if you love fish you have to go to the seafood track [Music] day number five oh day number five corey sherlock national park probably not how you say it but nature reserve yes path is nice path of easy lots of midgees yeah but we're covered today so it's all good [Music] pretty cool [Music] go [Music] he said is coming [Music] so we just finished our mains at the touring we are currently at berlin mark which is one of the three restaurants that they have here and it was definitely the best meal that we've had on the trip for a reasonable price and it's funny because we wasn't even going to come here because everywhere we were staying in the shop very glad we did because not only was the food amazing the drive here was stunning time for some sticky toffee things [Applause] [Music] engine oil light just came on so is that one in yeah [Music] midges this is our second swarm attacking us all precautions are being taken these dead ones on you now they've just caught your hair yeah i don't know how the scots deal with this this is so annoying they get in there [Music] [Music] day six and we are nearing the end of our time here on the north coast 500. today we're making our way from polio to blockton where we'll be spending our final night in a wooden hut which we're pretty excited for but for now we've just stopped taking the view [Music] [Applause] cleaners [Applause] [Music] so we didn't have much planned for today as we continue our journey down along the west coast this day being our longest day of driving yet covering 170 miles we stopped off at the upper cross inn for some quick pub grub on the way to our accommodation before making our way back along the 8896 for our evening kayak session on the right side if you follow that all the way up yeah that kind of gap yeah in the canopy that's where the bird is sat oh yeah still jen can you see a gem [Applause] hmm stoked we've done this it is always a good idea i'm kayaking what a way to end our trip beautiful so last evening on the north coast 500 me and jen just finished kayaking with our guy tom who owns shield dig outdoor adventures all right yeah that's correct yeah and uh yeah we're super lucky because we had amazing weather we had a triple rainbow believe it or not we had a sunset going on over here we saw seals what else did we see jellyfish lots jellyfish lonesome jellyfish sorry eagle yeah saw an eagle as well so um pretty amazing way to end our north coast 500 trip so big shout out to tom make sure you guys come and check him out if you are ever doing the north coast 500 and really sad to be leaving this place but a really good way to send us off [Music] peace [Applause] day number seven final day is sadly of our north coast 500 trip last night we spent the night in these wooden hearts on craig island farm they're very basic no electricity it's basically as close you can get camping without actually camping but we had a decent night's sleep as we arrived late last night from our evening kayak we arrived in the dark so i didn't get to see too much so it's quite cool now waking up this morning we can actually see the farm today we're making our way from plockton to inverness to finish off the final day of our north coast 500 trip not too much planned for today we're just going to hopefully feed some of the animals and have a good look around [Music] [Applause] [Music] delicious [Music] made about inverness castle seven days later with 906 miles covered a lot more than the state of 500 but that's okay because we've backtracked and detoured a fair bit it's been an absolutely crazy experience but we're really glad that we did it we've had some wild winds consistent rains and some sunny days with blue skies and that's been absolutely great obviously we didn't get to everything we have planned due to weather conditions and the timing of cover 19. however that is the beauty of the north coast 500 everyone's trip is different but we're really happy with how ours turned out make sure you guys check out the blog it's got way more details for you guys to dive into this is only the beginning of our journey so make sure you like and subscribe to our page if you like what you seem where was in pom this has been our north coast 500 trips [Music] [Music] [Music] oh my gosh i'm dizzy okay
