a Staples Center were about ready to go and love big games of the year the Clippers and the Thunder two of the hottest teams the NBA Mike what are you watching for tonight well I asked the coast do you try and slow down Kevin Durant or do you try and stop the other guys he said a little bit of both it's really hard to stop Kevin Durant but we'll watch it and adjust as the game goes on that's something to keep an eye on explosiveness versus smart really is Westbrook against Chris Paul and keep your eye on both of them because they do it in different way but that matchup might determine the outcome the battle of the sixth man is Mo Williams versus James Harden James Harden has been inserted into the starting lineup but you're going to need scoring from somebody other than your two superstars so those third scores could be really big and Clippers in transition Ralph if Oklahoma City has a flaw they tend to turn it over too much and if the Clippers can exploit that and get out and run good things can happen they're gonna have to find some easy hoops let's go over to Kiki Vandeweghe the sidelines key key guys I'm an add one more thing defensive rotations because both Iran and West you cannot guard them one-on-one so you're going to need help in a lot of different areas DJ's going to come over to try and block the shot now you've got to rotate back to cover his man touched it look out to the Clippers with 20 on the shot clock what an aggressive start I mean guys hitting the floor and guys running out you have to think of these Oklahoma City Thunder like you do the Miami Heat when it comes to transition Westbrook is every bit as explosive as a Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant at 610 can finish with the best of them they are turnover prone peppers in to take advantage of the Revels tour some turnovers ball into the paint when the floater very nice and Chris Paul is gonna have to be more aggressive offensively last night in Denver he goes for 13 points and 4 assists in the fourth quarter he's gonna have to do more of looking for his own early on just like he did Ibaka brings it to heart and starting for Sefolosha who got hurt in the game Friday night in Golden State that's a great rebound goes to get the rebound and the kumkum to you some you go get that's right and the Clippers running out what you'd like it you're gonna have to get buckets before their defense gets set butler can't jus bring down if you think about oklahoma city's teams they really only have three guys who would think are really good offensive players that's Westbrook Durant and harden tonight harden happens to be in the starting lineup Perkins and Ibaka are a few fenders the ramp of the answer here we go folks today this is gonna be fun 7:5 Oklahoma City has the lead the against teams with losing records and that's an early you have to dominate and the Clippers have not always done that the one loss one that really hurts was in Minnesota the last second basket by know what so far there are certain matchups certain teams just tend to match up better against others and this is early in this ball game but it looks like the Clippers match up very well against this
