Naked Gnome vs. True Final Boss!! | Wildfrost

hello everybody and welcome or welcome back to wildfrost the Fresh roguelike Deck Builder that I'm oh so excited to be back to here today we got ourselves two characters that I was gonna pick between last time but seeing as we have basically used this one in the past even though I really want to use it again we're going to be going over here to get an apply snow aimless multi-strike hero who will go well with I mean the only Synergy here is uh little gazy I suppose let's do it in we go we also you know they're newer so we haven't used them as much as the others total we used them a lot recently but I think that's fine right I also really like them look at them we got a naked gnome to deal with here uh is it feasible to not kill you we have four damage multi-strike Bang Bang sure we do something like that why would I even bother doing that right off the bat like just why I guess so I could uh I guess I could hit you but but why you're gonna die in one hit either way uh we've got no good Target I get I guess I could gear Hammer you now like just to stack it up for later or we re-rolled those are the options I have I'm gonna you know let's retroactively make it so that was a play that I meant to do so here's the thing I can't Target anybody else unless I literally gear Hammer my heroes and then I stack it up for later I'm doing it I'm unhinged sure that will pay off surely I mean maybe so we got the big boy here got a gobbling so there's a three we're gonna be doing boom boom boom so we can hit you one more time so we hit hit and then we can get a couple hits on the Gob the gobbling I guess here right yeah it works out fine we'll squeak out a little bit of money four four it does not kill the Goblet or does not kill the gnome we could have hit the gobbling with the other two it wouldn't have mattered I feel like we're gonna need jumphead but maybe we can just Speed Run for gear hammers let's go away oh let's go we actually can do it we actually can do it the question is if I should like greed to get a double kill if I had a junk I would you know whatever I think the answer is just no I think I I think it's just that straightforward just no we're upgrade to you know crazy levels counter two is like he's basically um blunky right we got blunky but he doesn't have the The Shield however we got him for free he did not take a location and I don't have to use him um I'm gonna go for the treasure because we still get a unit we get our two units no thought had empty me big me papa frenzy minus two attack is not something I really want on my hero one damage three times I I think we'll we'll cross the bridge when we come to it let's pick something here first none of these where you can't you can't put it on snuffle you can't put it on jumbo they don't have damage so that now that you would want it on jumbo anyways but you can't put it on somebody who doesn't have damage I'll take fullby though because you're new you have health you give trash I don't know how much I care about that but we could try and work that angle we'll see we're we're still in the I'm figuring out what the hell is good about this run phase could full be down hmm you could get a combo right put down the gnome we go for four oh we like have extreme extreme Overkill combo oh boy I'm okay with fullby getting smacked there doesn't bother me that much I'll just upgrade you get gets rid of that junk and it uh moves your cooldown one step closer for later does put you out of sync with the rest of the crew though do we this three five five we have one junk um dink is gonna make more sense in a turn I'll tell you what I want to do this so that we can snowzuka I don't really want to get the trash naked gnome hitting for two is no joke too like I know it's I know it's not that much but pretty good uh we have no control we may be losing a combo of some sort it's okay if jump cat gets hit here if I bank then I might as well stay another turn [Music] I don't know if I need the bank I think we just try and get you killed 50 50. twice there that not bad I forgot we even had the freeze on there oh wait well we could have I could have banked I think it's fine new unit at least new to me on kill apply scrap to a random Ally apply scrap to junk head we have the charm uh stick explode herself immediately um do five damage twice blow yourself up for 12 damage and everybody in the row for 12 days I think that's a no fizzle it's not that it's not a good unit especially with like the naked gnome angle uh it could be very very good we can't apply this to you I'm gonna take alloy they're new they have bomb on them that is interesting there's really not a reason for me to have the naked gnome yet there's really not I don't know if there will ever be I'll keep them head empty Crown oh Sun cream crown Crown first for sure like just get a crown alloy ice dice [Music] we really want to play with randomness who I want to do this fine I might regret it later but that's something now I'm gonna get sun cream gnome can attack literally every turn we can afford ice dice if I want it does the game discount items that you like rarely take that's smart if so that's a really smart idea um ice dice would be good with lots of multi-strike which we kind of sort of have a little bit of I I really wish I it maybe would break it it would probably break it I wish it was apply one block to a random Ally apply one block to a random enemy would that be broken in a world where you in a world where you have a character with two attacks versus a character with one attack you automatically win that fight is that a big deal I don't know probably not but I just don't I just don't know I don't know another day smack back makoco I'm at my junk to go with this sun cream a sounds great I don't even know if it's worth putting you down here [Music] oh I guess if aloe wait alloy can take damage from zero units interesting [Music] very interesting it also means you take oh my God it means you take us so much damage from this two goes up to four one goes up to three oh my God you take seven damage from what was supposed to be three damage hey what are you doing kind of hoping for a back line okay we got critical it's a buff for nothing though that's okay if we stayed a junkhead we're staying forever well you were saying well for another turn is that worth doing it's hard to say I think it actually is here's kind of what I want to do I sort of want to take take a hit and then pull you back I'm just curious about it you know to that are they gonna five six seven if you don't you only take three I want to play the snow Zooka I guess a good way to turn yeah it can actually it can wait a turn it's uncomfortable but it's it's actually the better way of doing it get alloy down so we can we can all hide behind alloy now should we desire it [Music] we need to kill um in three turns I think I mean need is a I don't it's gonna be messy if we don't kill it three turns the good news is we probably can [Music] it actually doesn't matter if the naked gnome dies because when he died that's that that's a nice thing about him when he dies he comes back with one Health so we could actually use him to no he can't take the barrage though so we need we may need to pull him back there's no reason like we don't need him to die just for fun that doesn't particularly help um [Music] so do I need do I have to Snowball the porcupine I think I have to I think it's fine though like I'm not I could always sack like the thing is I could sack little Daisy before I actually would die also no bomb all right depending on where this goes okay that that's nice I would have had to um I would have had to sack a card next turn we we would have won that fight no matter what uh but I would have had to sack a card if I didn't double hit there car draw or redraw I'm gonna go with card draw so we're less likely to have dead draws with the junk okay we have to go to the top no thought head empty one attack plus three health I mean we could put it on the gnome but let's let's wait let's wait we have another Traveler hoxie's good foxy is obviously very good and it's better than the gnome oxy's good better than the gnome yada yada craigo is actually pretty legit from like a am I going to um I think I'm gonna get the companion upgrade so no I don't think any of this matters unless I'm subbing out for naked gnome I don't think I want to Foxy's very good I don't want to I want to make the gnome work today I will try to make the gnome work about that idea that's the thing you gotta you gotta be careful with it this guy has spikes on him too so I can't really tank with alloy is the problem uh so you're not actually gonna run so let's see get the achievement if I if I didn't already have it uh I think it's probably time to go check out this new thing um I never put this on anybody should I put it on my hero icgm if we could stack up icgm with alloy that's kind of fun same with heart Mist these are just this is this is a rare time where honestly if I could take all three of these I probably would I'm gonna go with icgm seems like it could get silly so I have not even I've never done this take some items free of charge take a gander at my Wares everything's totally free so it won't be but I don't know what the penalty is boggy Brew apply Haze aimless I don't know if I've ever seen this ah we get Junk In Our Deck apparently bad I think I think you always I guess if maybe you don't always get junk maybe it's just a chance to get junk what shall I eat if obviously like there's an argument for junk but we also have Sun cream and Sun song and I would actually kind of be happy to get them in the first hand so I think we'll just go for that do we change our crown no we do we change out naked gnome no I'm taking The Hobbit to Isengard all right uh this is not a good for us um now do you have Fury too because I want to wait to so let you do that first and then we'll do this so that alloy can go ham and now if we Bank you won't have you won't have spikes you won't have Fury you'll be doing two damn not that it zukia we get the icgm 12 12 12 12. one two three four five thank you alloy that was something okay that's some extreme Overkill [Music] money yes duper uh it'd be the icgm or the foggy Brew is a pretty good card Sun cream is good too uh [Music] if I munch what would I munch I would much more gear hammers that's a more consistent deck but also it means I don't have backline Smacks kind of like having one or two it becomes useless I I take gear Hammer is more or less useless in the final fight right foggy Ruby comes really appealing like really good in the final fight buying a turn and helping very gently with DPS is pretty cool Sun cream is great in the final fight a second icgm is okay you know what that actually sells it icgm is such a good blocker right forget everything else when your back's up against the wall it's really nice to have that to block stuff okay get one of these bad boys we have 70 draw two on kill gain recycle plus two damage requires junk oh boy that just I'll do that you're focused on getting kills anyways more or less useless in the final fight unfortunately I know ambitious of me to think that we're getting there but the T the the squad seems like it just got really good so we'll see um recycle I'll take a Berry Blade it's just a really good card it's a really good card he makes no sense he makes no sense here [Laughter] I have there's no reason oh to have him yet I will bring him back like honestly this is better in fact like maybe I just do that we have one two three one two three I think I run three units and then if I get something that makes naked gnome not bad I'll bring him in the final fight right I'll bring him in the final fight am I doing nothing with this I think I am I don't the only thing I could think would be Barry blade could potentially be good five damage five heal takes an extra junk though but it's another way to get thins Our Deck I'm just gonna regret it so much I feel like this needs to be at bare minimum this needs to be recycle one plus three right in my in my opinion maybe there's something truly great with it but uh it doesn't work if you put it on a hero it gives it gives them damage but they apparently they can't trigger unless unless you have junk is that's apparently how it works I don't know if that's true if that's if that's not how that works then it's maybe fine on a hero like in that case like I would probably put it on alloy but even then I think putting ourselves in a situation where we've gotta Maybe is a little bit weird oh I felt that sponsor got spikes that's not good uh we're gonna them all well if we Bank crunker what a sentence if we Bank crunker crunker hits the front line too crunkers already hitting the front line too so [Music] that's actually fine not that good in the final fight though because you can't really Rock the upload very well it's basically Frost bloom or nothing my deck is already pretty big it's fine alrighty so do I I did promise my man one second apologies I said no I don't need the sign for my doordash but they said yes sign for the doordash so we have a crown left uh I think it's let's Crown our boy right welcome to the squad all right our Hobbit has made it to eisengard and I am ready to cast a nuke easy will make it stronger so do we do it up top or do we do dem bottom I think we do down bottom one two three four I if I get naked no buffed otherwise we'd be better off having phobi or big berry just like as a unit that can take hits uh uh otherwise crown goes where I mean we'd have to spend two crowns on sun cream junk I'm going to keep icgm like that's gonna be crowned regardless I could crown the other one I suppose I'm thinking I have to be real and legacy's good living is even better I'll take you big berries not going to get any kills otherwise he'd be better trash could be bad it could be good it could be bad it could be good it means I'm more likely to get sun cream or Sun song um so that helps oh God oh God please let this be easy it's way less exploitable we definitely we blow up the bottom row right like we have I mean yeah Frost we have to one two three four boom so then the question is how do we set up a rose I'm guessing usually the solo row is the barrage row and then here it's a lot of damage here alloy does the naked gnome go in front of or behind me because we might be able to
