My Wife Simps for the Predator! First Time Watching Alien vs. Predator (2004) Reaction & Commentary

hey everyone welcome back to the channel where  does Cavazos and today we finally made it here   Alien versus Predator Kacee's really prepared  yes I got a shirt it's a predator shirt because   I am team Predator um I'm like okay going into  this movie when I hear Aliens versus Predator   I'm literally thinking they're gonna like just  like drop them on an island or something and   they're just gonna like go at it but like we'll  see I don't really know like what is Alien vs   Predator gonna be well Casey's gonna find out  obviously I will say that this movie probably   for a lot of people isn't like you know the best  of either franchise but I I still think it's fun   I personally feel like you know that you get  a lot of lore about the Predator which is what   Casey's really been excited about she didn't  really get much of it in prey which that's where   we started her on this journey I guess we both  watched it for the first time on this channel   um but I didn't show Casey Predator before that  go check check that out we actually did that after   the fact and pretty much ever since then Casey's  been team printed she wants to know more about   the Predator so I've been really excited for  her to get to this film in particular because   it does explain a lot in my opinion at least  to the best of my knowledge I haven't seen it   since I was young all right if you like one of those   people that they find Frozen like years later you  ever heard of those people that they fight Frozen bottle cap Pepsi Cola that was it hold the team  together for two days I'll go to Mexico City and   I'll talk to the back I'll get us more money  I might be able to help you accomplish that   Professor do I know you in exchange for  a little of your time Weiland Waveland so would kill us  in three minutes listen basically you're in   it yeah and I hope nothing goes wrong which it  probably will because this is aliens and predators is that actually in water yeah I mean it's called  Icebreaker so we're not we smile and we politely   they're trying whatever offerings that again take  the money and we head back to Mexico right right this reminds me of uh one of those things  you have to sit through like nice shows   and whatnot and they offer you like some  [ __ ] like trip like when we accidentally   yeah we did do that once and then  we like left like two minutes in   we realized what the [ __ ] it was  everyone makes that mistake once get off he was like an instagrammer  before Instagram was a thing he was   he was ready for it the nearest land is a  thousand miles away there's no help if we   run into trouble it's a no man's map and I  think I speak for everyone aboard this show   this ship this is worth the risk  I like movies like this where it's   like a bunch of different Specialists  like come together together I like that oh it's literally breaking ice   is that possible like in real life do they do  that I feel like there's things there strong   enough oh you see that with the little pin I  feel like there's a little homage to like with   a knife what about Paul Woodman or Andrew Keeler  we call them and they gave the same [ __ ] answer   you did Mr Whalen what she's going to say it  wasn't [ __ ] if you rush this people will   get hurt people are probably gonna get hurt but  she's gonna stay probably Mr Whalen when I lead   my team I don't ever leave my team you're making  a mistake mistake that's in the upper atmosphere streams and protons and electrons from the Sun  the Aurora Borealis I always wanted to see that   in real life brought my advice um stay on the boat  do we stand a better chance of surviving with you   with a number two choice probably  like the number five choice you make me dizzy right whose ship is this the alien predator oh why is their head on like nothing  that's their mask oh it's charging sometimes they're like down animations is that how they go down there  they get like shut down there I brought the bottle cap I'm  still has it Hunter's Moon yeah foreign I like these characters but I'm gonna have  to root for the Predator I mean I'm wearing   his merch so we like went to FYE in the mall and  just like happened to see this and I was like yes   she was looking for a hat too but that  store always comes through never close down so this is that Village yeah from 100 years ago   this station was abandoned in  1904. everyone just disappeared that the alien and the Predator just been  here then and when was this Pyramid built   hadn't been before yeah because it's under the ice oh no one for National Geographic that was an old cup   you ruined he's taking pictures of  himself everywhere he's doing the selfie selfie oh my gosh okay there's something there probably like a penguin or something oh it's so  cute I love penguins it's drilled in a perfect   30 degree angle how far does it go down all the  way to the pyramid remember that beam that got   shot down well the only way we're gonna know  for sure is to get down there and find out I like getting to see the inside of the ship she's getting ready for the day you  know just another day another shift   stay on the ship we'll update you at the top  of every hour you think about your life and   how you're going to be remembered you know what  I realized will happen when I go 10 fall in share   prices maybe 12. I mean it also is his expedition  I mean if he wants to go I feel like he can go or   drinking champagne with his daughter 14 000 feet  in the air I mean in the morning maybe the pain   but what counted was me yeah too badly just can't slide down I mean  what is it like 2 000 feet so it'd be   pretty fun on the way there unless there  was like a massive drop like after [ __ ] oh no oh oh gosh that's bad is he really just gonna die already oh my gosh she told you to stay yeah I mean  she did she literally did that was   kind of like a freak accident though I  don't think that was because he was sick is this how they get down uh oh your flare oh my gosh just Wayland there it is wow so what's up with it like  why is it just here under the Antarctica   congratulations Mr Whalen looks like  you'll be leaving your mark after all if it were me I would have taken like a  hundred pictures first but like just in case   let's send them back up so there's  proof in case we die when we go in alien and predator so who made this Temple more pyramid is  the Predator coming here because there's   an alien here and it's like oh that's  the big game like oh it has a division the level is that the queen right that's the  Queen the queen no no the other   one died I forgot I don't know that's the  [ __ ] Queen so how was there a queen here enter those who choose may enter oh my God I love what he cloves I mean okay  they're dying again I'm just excited to see   the Predator again okay the Predator is  like hustle don't stop Brian don't quit Miguel oh you can see several of your  friends oh he's he's tying them up foreign icy Predator it's a predator with a drip now we get to see what happens maybe oh he's got like a little oh [ __ ] no  he doesn't now I get to see him do team so they have to be going to kill a queen  right what is what is your purpose here you said only the chosen may enter the Predators the chosen the  spines and stuff in the head they have a hole in them so they were pregnant  bold whatever you sprouted an alien baby dang there's like several there's  at least five I'm just kidding oh oh no oh face the hug her  I was gonna say sucker again   Bones have completely calcified no idea how long  it's been here but the temperatures kept different   well be careful because those things are notorious  for like I don't know messing stuff up waking up   crawling around gave their lives so the hunt  could begin what y'all want the hunt to begin   what what is going on here  something broke out of this body ugh I'll never get over their secretions it's  one of the several reasons I prefer the predator   secretions alone oh they really like up to their  like you know manufacturer   they're like you know we're moving  efficient we're getting it done it's a shaft of another level that's the bottom  right looks like there's another room down there   I feel like it probably goes a lot  further that's just like where that goes   oh this guy's stuff oh oh he like  did fall the way to the bottom   oh oh he's cold oh yeah the blood all  right oh no not cold I also set for 1804 oh so like when they got here maybe so it's like exactly 100 years later right well that y'all had to come exactly on the  100 year later Mark of all the time well   that's when like the Heat Signature went  off so it seems like you know this was   somebody else's intention to be  here in 100 years oh the guns first had to have set this all up then to  hunt you no and they must imprisoned the queen yeah it's all coming together my mind you wanted  to leave without prep we did you wanted to be the   first ones here we are you've claimed the  find it's you know we move as a team and   we're done for the day anytime y'all split  up that's when things go awry no congestion it's like Indiana Jones like just grabbing them without really  considering the repercussions of your actions the eggs uh y'all are gonna get sacrifice I'm  trying to think of a funny word to describe   what happens a funny word um well they were  calling it up I don't know embryo right like incubated I like though oh wow okay is there anything  you didn't tell me about this place I say   your guess is as good as mine well whatever  it is we're not prepared for it we're gonna   round up the rest of the they're never prepared  literally that's a common theme oh [ __ ] oh my   job is over when everyone is back on the boat  safely and that gun doesn't change anything   yes it does just make you more of a fun time  for the predator it's like oh this one's spicy uh they got you and then they're gonna think it's fine and  they'll be like oh they died but then you're gonna oh they're still good oh yeah I'm impregnated it's great yeah they just like die you know right   after yeah that's like the embryo  in there goes oh what's happening that's another thing the aliens have to rely on  another species to be born Predators probably   just bore themselves not themselves but  you know yeah yeah to take a host yeah nice what's on their shoulders  do you recognize like look at   what it is because you'd be like what is that foreign oh and now this wall is closing  in oh [ __ ] it's like moving just to make it fun for them I feel like you're not in the right spot oh   your hand okay he didn't even help  I mean that was going pretty quick she got hope it moves again and try to get out oh  you're gonna get oh okay that's oh my gosh that's   like one of the scariest parts for me something  like that yeah something you can't care about   I'll get away from if you make the wrong move  you'll get crushed scarier than the predator oh secretion so that had been the alien right or the  Xenomorph I need to know what this man died for he died trying to make history common theme in a lot of these well in the alien  movies is like money or the science comes first sorry a bit worried about going somewhere and  then having something like fall down on   you know or something move while  you're in a tight space like that oh no oh okay it wasn't as bad I  thought it was gonna be a lot worse   oh but he oh that is a bigger fall than  I thought probably broke his leg oh no Oh no you're gonna get taken yep here it is oh thank you oh surround dang oh [ __ ] oh God oh wow well so much for getting  back to y'all's kids yeah looks like when they give people motivations to   get back because when they kill them  they want to make you feel more bad maybe someone should just like you know  I don't know just leave it yeah no no oh he used his own gun on it oh my gosh I feel like you should have used the gun on it but   then again I don't know maybe you want  to know how to use it got its attention this one you can't even really see oh wait oh all right here comes the Alien  vs Predator part probably at least one Predator needs to kill an alien or I   won't be satisfied I'll give you this  one because it was the the surprise come on get him they need to get the [ __ ] out no use this time get it get it get it get it brother you can't let   yourself get beat up by the  alien I won't stand for it foreign oh no I'm still so much team Predator there's some more   there's so much more advanced  I just like the Predator a lot workout oh no oh no no there's still one we got one more  and if not I'm gonna be sad and I'm gonna complain waiting come on I can hardly stick it Waylon  I'm not gonna let you die down Nina you didn't get her out here now come on oh the gun oh Waylon's gonna die oh wait she's like because he's sick  so it's like oh not worth it   interesting don't turn your back on  me I knew the Predator has a heart oh no no it's just gonna get annoyed oh dang  it oh it would have left you alone so like I don't care if you're sick I mean  don't [ __ ] set me on fire I would have   left you alive we keep it together we make it to  the center he prefers the term artificial person If Only They would have just dropped the gun oh crap oh yeah y'all about to get squished oh my gosh that is way too close of a  call oh no oh I hate this I hate this   so much oh I feel like I would  not have risked that oh my gosh   I would have been dead I would have been so dead  that's horrifying oh my God oh my gosh oh [ __ ]   that shook me out so bad I hate that stuff oh  my gosh that like freaks me out what's worse   than getting chased by the way I know that  was the scariest part of the movie foreign oh he's some justice for the Predators this one's like yeah a badass  this one's the best look over here let's see the face you're kind of gross  but it's okay I still like you took the   leg of the Facehugger oh Birds oh it's testing  the acid I think it's uh marking its kill oh it's been sent here to prove that they're worthy  to become adults um teenagers oh that's so cute you didn't carry those guns with them to  begin yeah I have to earn them yeah oh how fun I got like a like excited about it oh my gosh hieroglyphs are a little difficult to make  no wonder that they were like dying easier   than I would have expected them to they weren't  experienced yeah every hundred years the gods   would return and when they did they would expect  a sacrifice oh my gosh and y'all just fell for   it well they did it as like a what did they  say it was like an honor so they could hunt   ERS would battle these great serpents to  prove themselves worthy to carry the mark to continue on and hunt again Probably sounds  like all they do in life oh dang what the heck   that's so many of them oh my God how did  y'all even like live after that uh didn't   oh they made sure nothing survived no oh wow  an entire civilization wiped out overnight   okay this whole thing was a trap without  us there could be no hunt well that sucks   for Humanity oh he's still alive no is  he about to get face hugged shoot it oh to make sure now how are you gonna get yourself  out of this oh I want to wasted all my bullets oh during a big game hunt the animal's been hunted  don't arm the hunters they're not hunting us   we're in the middle of a war it's time to pick  a side we are on our side she's team predator I mean they like kind of accepted  the humans beforehand when they   needed you for something so  as long as you worship them because if they do everything everywhere could die the enemy of my enemy is my double enemy how do you say scared I'll make that oh yeah oh looks like maybe a  six foot jump maybe harder for her because he   just broke a few tiles oh no no you're  a climber you can do this come on Lex oh dang it oh no that was the one that had the net on it too   because he saw the little  markings on its like head oh that was a shadow I thought  something was walking up on her oh oh no well I mean you wanted to  make friends so that's what I would do be like hello I'm your biggest fan all right help kill the alien that'll get on his Good Side  Oh yay but watch out for the blood thank you Yay good for you Lex come back my slip is still like  twitching okay oh there you go oh yeah oh it's tiny mouth the mouth what's in the mouth is it dying I don't know what do  you like its last little reflex   it's like one last little attempt to  try and get her with a little mouth   oh look you're gonna stand okay it's  like I don't know what to think about you oh this is the one that got  hit already by the other one Queen's communicating something hey I'm coming with you no oh my  gosh reasoning with The Predator   what is happening well he's here to become a man um that's her kill are you gonna  give the head to her you're so funny ew it's like it's brain ah you're here mark yourself oh oh [ __ ] yeah well look at that partnership   like their blood doesn't do  anything to it's it to use its shell oh that's what okay using a head as a shield shield and  then just run off together oh how   cool I love that love that like I wish that was me I'm gonna live vicariously through  Lex fighting alongside the predator   this one this one single-handedly  took out the other two   no oh it's oh it's using like the Queen's  own blood to like melt the freaking chains oh you're gonna see them all I forgot his  name I'm gonna get you out of there it's   too late it's inside me oh oh no no no  no no no no oh no yeah that's not a good   idea I wouldn't be hitting the Predator  though yeah you can see it oh my gosh oh is this finally the movie The Predator  learns to love oh but it's still alive he just like Snapped his neck I was gonna say it like I feel like even if  he died like it still would have like shut out foreign 's on the loose   separated from her freaking whatever  the hell you call that thing her sack oh is that the self-destruct I started talked it communicated look at that oh dynamic duo the  team we didn't know we needed still like in awe that like it's like he got  here Predator we're gonna get there oh my gosh oh they're already up ah no no that was gone come  on save this oh save his life ugly [ __ ] oh yeah you're like geeking out  over that they're working together wow so every time they have to do this does it  get rebuilt um well I'm assuming that like   at some point it stops it's something you lose  you know like because they don't they didn't   always lose until like you know they had to  blow it all up and that's probably where it   like went under ice in the first place like  that little scene reenactment that they showed   damn watch I'm trying to be  like you're strong kill you now don't be scared of his face the  sensitive subject but it's fine the blood to mark because you're a warrior you're like uh can we not can  you do it like not on my face   we do it like the hand or something  let me guess he did get you out of here Queen he's like [ __ ] I didn't know they  were this big like I'm only 18. all right we're gonna throw do we still  have the gun did we drop oh no we got   knocked off when he got attacked by the one  with like the that it got hit by oh [ __ ] no please don't die not after  everything we've been through no yay got it like they even like you know communicate   without words like they're  on each other's level oh no I'm in a bad mood I hate this  movie I'm so upset right now do we have anything that can help you go check on the Predator he's gonna die alone I'm frustrated why'd they have to  do that like you could have just   left one to live why can't they ever just live   can't the Predator ever just win this has been  the perfect time for the Predator to like live this was the only one that's ever been nice  to a human-ish I mean it was a teenager   oh are you its father oh more oh the ship it's a lot of predators  were they here to check on them like what   were they doing they're probably observing came  after uh oh you said the mark you see the mark   oh they're probably here to pick him up and the  other two are buried look under the rubble I'd be   like um can I go with you for research purposes  except me as one of your own I have the mark a weapon I like as a thank you why can't all interactions with The  Predator end like this this one has a cape   see they I told y'all they have a  heart-ish so it's somewhere deep in there   behind the need to to kill and fight be the  best that's all they want is just to be the best wow one day we're gonna get a movie  about the Homeworld I hope let's all   band together and like crowdfund it how do you  know there's not already one is there possibly well which one I'm pretty sure Predators hmm look at it wait it's a mix of the two that's  Abomination I don't like that how did it have   how did it get mixed you see you just saw how  like the little things because that's where   who it inhabited so this is funny because Casey's  seen Prometheus she doesn't probably remember it   too much because we did talk about this before  that you saw when you were a little younger   um and they kind of go in to like you know the  xenomorph and like when it inhabits somebody   it kind of like takes on some I I think some  characteristics of whatever like the host is so   with this it kind of took on something I didn't  get one in it it never got so did it get hugged   it did so we didn't see it but it was left to be  assumed remember when the Facehugger jumped at   it and then we just kind of cut back to it yeah so  it did get hugged unfortunately he was my favorite   Predator I'm pretty sure I saw it one time I know  it's is not that good but the second Alien versus   Predator they actually show this creature as like  an adult it's its baby um I didn't like that one   I thought this one like there was some nostalgic  aspects I liked seeing the Predator work with the   humans humans some people some people wouldn't  like it because I'm a simp but like I I can see   like you know where some people would be like  really like would the Predator just work with   a human I like to just like to to suspend all  disbelief you know and just like it was kind of   fun to see that yeah I really enjoyed it because  that's like what I want from the Predators yeah   that's why in new Casey would love this movie  yeah I thought it was cool it was interesting I   mean I still have a lot of questions like okay if  they did have this little rite of passage whatever   like then why did they were they still coming to  Earth like you know separately at other times was   that like older ones like what's up with that  like I feel like that's a little confusing to   me and then like if they did lose and blow up  everything like did they just rebuild did nobody   even ever like notice like hey there's like this  the explosion happening every like 100 years or so   you know I mean I know it wasn't every time like  they didn't lose every time but like obviously   like it's not like they had never lost I wouldn't  assume you know they'd have to have lost at some   point and exploded it well when the civilization  I'm assuming that you know the when they were like   reading like the hieroglyphs and whatnot and they  kind of mentioned like okay they lost they'd make   sure that nobody won that that was the time where  like there was people that inhabited Antarctica in   this you know logic and then that wiped everything  off the map and then that pyramid was just like   the the remnants of what was left and then I don't  know how long ago that was and then obviously in   1904 we only saw like the the previous instance  when a predator showed up here to guess earn its   rite of passage I will say I'm still 100 team  Predator but I feel like the aliens kind of get   the short end of the stick most of the time like  here they were like enslaved beforehand I mean   they were kind of just doing their own thing and  people stumbled onto them yeah I mean they do have   to like have somebody else to like host yeah  to have their husbands but they're just trying   to live but like they were just kind of like in  the first alien they were just like in their own   little ship thing and then in the second one they  like it was the same Planet so they still just got   found again like the Predators are actively going  to these places where the aliens just kind of like   they kind of their life kind of sucks sometimes  like they're like dang we're getting fought again   and killed again we were just trying to have  our babies and then the Predators also like   facilitated this whole entire thing put together  like a conveyor belt like there was a second   chamber I'll punch you and you will be okay with  it they're like the ultimate prey for them yeah   um but I actually really enjoyed this movie I  thought it was like I feel like the best way to   describe it is fun like I had a lot of fun with  it I feel like you have to be the type of person   who's like me and like really likes the predator  and stuff like that I mean like the alien too had   a big part of it obviously they killed all the  Predators which was annoying but I killed two   within the course of like a minute I didn't like  that but I did like seeing the human work with The   Predator that's something I never thought I was  gonna see so yeah that happened well I've had a   lot of of fun learning about the Predators and  the aliens and this kind of little series that   we did on this channel um thank you so much for  watching all these movies with me for the first   time I know we didn't watch them all um and I'll  probably end up watching them at some point maybe   on my own or
