My Wife And I Bought ANOTHER $40 Goodwill Mystery Pallet

so the goodwill mystery palette so i've bought probably 25 to 30 of these total over the last couple months and i still have eight in the storage unit that we haven't even opened yet but haley and i came to this goodwill over here yesterday and they had a bunch more pallets out for grabs they were 50 bucks a piece you get a 10 credit if you bring the pallet back which i'm going to leave the pallet here so i'll get 10 credit so it's a 40 mystery pallet and the only reason i bought it because like i said we already we still have eight that we haven't even opened yet but this one had a really nice metal detector on the top that i could see if that metal detector works it could be a couple hundred bucks or so so we're gonna unload this pallet today and see if we can make some money [Music] i'm just picking up a pallet i bought yesterday uh okay you need help getting into your car i can unload it if they is there any way they can roll it around to the back so i can i'm unloading in my truck and there's just a lot of traffic and congestion up there so they can pull out the back door or just use the pallet jack and roll it all the way around this one is back there it's got the metal detector on top there's anywhere you can pull it out the back [Music] they were also super busy so they let me use a pallet jack and they were just like please just don't hurt yourself and you can use a pallet jack and unload it because the guy they've had so many donations coming in today and they just don't have time to help me with pallets which is totally fine with me so i guess this is what it feels like to be a goodwill employee i'm not a professional at operating a pallet jack this is only the second time in my entire life that i've done it slow down turn right here a little bit and perfect look at that easy easy all right so here's the plan we're going to unload this whole pallet into the back of my truck we're going to kind of sort things as we go i've got a few trash bags for any potential trashes in here i've got an ikea bag and a big cardboard box we're going to try to keep things together anything that's ebay worthy we're just going to take straight home after this and get it listed pretty quickly and anything that is a yard sale or not really good enough for ebay we're just going to take it to our storage unit and put it with all the other yard sale stuff so let's go ahead and get into this i got my gopro strapped in my head i'm going to have my point of view here i'll probably put this camera up on the truck so you can have multiple camera angles for this video should be pretty good i'm really excited to see about this metal detector white's classic sl i don't know let's go ahead and open it up and see what it is i brought my knife i didn't bring my knife today the metal detector let's let's see this is a made in america white's classic two this is definitely a it's an older model i don't think probably needs batteries or something but this is definitely going in the back of the truck because i don't want it to get rained on just in case it this is rains that's cute reagan-esque yeah it looks old hornet's nest yeah it looks like a little decorative clip that says 19.99 on it but also that's full retail so say like five bucks at a yard sale maybe i had one of these going ipod dock high home i sold the last one i had i don't remember how much but it definitely i think it sold to a viewer i think this is a cd uh yard sales phone i think this is a cd holder cd thing display holder thing disney puzzle that's cute yard sale that got a boogie board it's pretty it's peter rabbit peter rabbit it was my nursery theme when i was that might be worth something is there anything on the bottom 19.99 beatrix potter some kind of light fixture definitely sell at the yard sale this is probably 30 bucks worth of tools at the yard sale almost paid for the whole pallet right there this is like a phone charger or something i think it's called here there's another one right there and there's another one it's the whole charger let's see panasonic model kxtge260 we got the base with the phone and two other bases is there another phone there's just two phones so far only two phones but if that's complete and works that is definitely an ebay item what is that i don't know i have no idea heavier oh oh it's like a vacuum yeah evo ice recovery that is that might be worth something all right what are these these are like these might be those uh what is it called like the fake sword fights like florping i'm pretty sure it's called florping i don't know these are oh my gosh somebody in the comments is gonna go crazy telling me what it's on the tip of my tongue it's like they get together in the park and they have like sword fights so these are like really heavy duty swords i feel like fern they're it's just foam wrapped in like canvas or something oh yeah it's fun this one that's awesome these are probably worth something i'd say i'm just making a wild guess here but i'm gonna say i could probably get 40 bucks for the pair 20 bucks each i think that's a reasonable amount so right there paid for the whole palette oh we got a bow bow and arrow two bows these are not really worth much but some kid would like him at the yard sale wireless grilling thermometer that might be pretty good brand new in the package let's go ahead and scan it no solds but there's one listed for 20 bucks so let's say we're gonna make 10 bucks on this i think we can get 10 bucks for that after after fees and shipping guardian wire and flags expansion kit this is brand new is there there's a barcode sold for uh 20 bucks plus 10 shipping they're sold all over the place oh it's for pets for expanding underground fences this is like a wires for pet safe okay so there's one one sold for 20 bucks plus shipping so let's say 20 bucks vodka box that's pretty cool not worth a ton of money but it's not worth a ton but people definitely oops want to collect this if i don't break it maybe yard ornaments oh yeah was it heavy oh it's heavier than this one but it's not sounds broken back i think the wings broke off of it so i'll keep this one and those are but they're super heavy and definitely worth something i was hoping this was like some kind of cute planner or something but it's a lamp and it's really gross here all over it oh look at this i recognize this strap anywhere look at that kavu oh that's so cute oh it's not a cavu union bay but it's still cute everybody's copying kavu nowadays i see some remotes oh yeah emerson emerson it's the old one though emerson vcr755 and emerson cassette recorder i don't know they're both to vcrs so that's that's good usually those are worthwhile i'll bring your knife today but i can barely sold for 30 30 60. so let's say 20 bucks for this no remote yet maybe there's maybe one of those remotes we found earlier work but as of now no remote 20 bucks pretty realistic there's another other one without wings that one has wings yard sale that's a cute little plate got animals on it made in finland arabia made in finland plates on it that's cute i might throw that up on ebay i might have to just dump everything out onto the ground because if i can't reach it that's the only way to get to it there's a nice little dish in here box huh maybe does that beer bradley camelback bottle yeah it's ten dollars oh yeah it might be ebay this looks like a harry potter book it is i'm impressed i can like see the front of the book without a dust cover and no it's harry potter is that a first edition check the front i doubt it the front like inside the cover it should say first edition if it's in there um where there's one of the publishing pages or something printed usa first american edition 2003. yeah that's the first edition no dust cover that that's definitely ebay i don't know how much but first edition what book is it the fifth one order the phoenix first edition order of the phoenix without a dust cover that's at least 10 bucks at least got some pampered chef scissors oh it's like those scissors that cut into two pieces if you've got like that might be worth something there's this bowl anchor oven wear casserole nine inch diameter two quart pretty good condition a little dirty maybe ebay if it's like a 10 or 15 item i'm not gonna bother shipping that but definitely someone was yelling at me um yeah it's going to suck especially if some of it rolls on the ground underneath the truck but what are we going to do all right it's staying intact for the most part for the most part turns out when you do 20 or 30 pallets you get pretty good at unloading them oh is it one of them a curtis matt yeah mathis oh that's the remote yeah curse there it is just added like 10 bucks into the value of that thing there's a samsung remote oh this is like tile oh yeah subway tile that's a sealed pack of dvd-rs it might be worth ebay another av cable pack all right what is this sun nothing's gross it's like a upright rotisserie oven or something let me look it up to make sure it's not worth like 100 or something there's a brand new one of these that sold for 76 but there's a used one that sold for 20 plus shipping maybe i'll just yard sale it somebody can pay say 10 bucks a yard sale or open up the drum yeah it's very cheap it's still a yard sale probably get 10 bucks for that pretty easily the yard still does it look like it was like used and then put back in there yeah what was this doll cover i have no idea what this is it's like for one of those like big dolls i think you put the stand at the top and those are the sides so it's like makes a big case oh doll cover huh you're so smart all right folks i think that's pretty much everything of value everything else is just you know little tiny junk things playing cards i mean just yard sale stuff you don't see anything else it's gonna be crazy valuable so we're going to get this stuff cleaned up try to get out of here before the rain comes and i'll give you guys a full synopsis of everything we found today in just a second all right guys so it is the very next day last night i got home and went through a couple of things everything was pretty much around the same value that i thought it was at that one revere where pot was worth like 30 bucks plus shipping which was pretty good and that one set of plates that i showed you guys that were still in the in the cardboard box those should sell for close to 50 bucks plus shipping so those are two pretty good items that i was kind of unaware of the value i knew they were some worth something uh but those were a little bit more valuable than i thought but the big thing here i went through uh and looked at this metal detector last night we put some batteries in it and it does work it is a whites um it says white stone there made in usa white's classic too yeah white's classic two classic sf the only problem with this metal detector is that it's kind of an older model i think it came out in the late 1990s so there's not any sold comps that i can see maybe if one of you have a subscription to worth point you can look on there and tell me if you see any soul comps but everything i'm searching for online is either like forums about like general you know comments about the this metal detector but i can't find anything on the value i did see where somebody had a broken one that they sold for forty dollars so i'm thinking that because this one does work i'll be able to list it on facebook marketplace for probably a hundred and fifty dollars based on the other whites models that i'm able to see on ebay and in other sold locations i think that's a pretty fair price for this it may sit for a while i may have to accept an offer of like 120 bucks or something like that but i think this will be one of the best if not the best items out of that palette yesterday but i thought it'd be cool to test it out in the video we can meddle this deck to my backyard a little bit right here and i can show you guys see if we have any buried treasure that'd be fun right oh there's something there's something right there let's go get the that's not a i mean it's like a handmade nail it looks like it used to be like rectangular or something so it's definitely an old nail probably i don't know 1800s late 1800s early 1900s definitely old not part of my house that's for sure now we got to put all the dirt and grass back so haley doesn't know that we were digging in the yard perfect right buzz right moes love you so much wash the dirt off my hands you know so now that we have proof that this metal detector does work i feel great about selling it on facebook marketplace again white's is a great brand of metal detector when i was doing some research i saw some of their higher end models that were selling for over a thousand over twelve hundred dollars just for one metal detector so generally when a company makes such a high-end product like that even their low end older models like this one are still going to be a really really solid product it's a great detector it's very accurate it has multiple settings on here again this is the whites classic 2 or classic sl whatever that means and i just really think it's a really solid product i'll also say that metal detectors make great christmas gifts for men or women i personally got a metal detector last year for christmas and i absolutely love it i haven't used it a ton because i don't have a ton of places to go that i'm allowed to metal detect but i absolutely love it i think if you look up like a christmas gift list idea list thing for men or women like the top 50 items to to get for christmas metal detector will probably be up there it's something fun you know anybody can do it you can just grab it and go in your backyard and see what's been buried down there for a couple hundred years or whatever and i just think it's a really fun item so if i list this on facebook marketplace again for about that hundred and fifty dollar mark is what i'm going to shoot for i think i think it'll sell it may take a couple months to get into into q4 and when people start christmas shopping but i think this will make a great christmas gift for somebody and if somebody wants to offer me you know 120 125 bucks for it i think i can let it go for that amount again i couldn't find any sold comps for this exact model but given the other information i was able to find i'm thinking 150 is a very reasonable price for this i'll throw it up on facebook marketplace and i don't think it'll sit for too long now while today's palette did have a lot of yard sale items inside i think we're going to be able to do very well on the few ebay items that i was able to grab i do not think i'm going to be buying any more pallets anytime soon i still have eight at the storage unit that i have yet to open and i want to try to get all these opened and processed before the first weekend in october because that is when i'm planning on doing the yard sale that gives me about a month and a half to get all the other pallets opened and processed and get the advertising and organization done for the yard sale it should be an absolutely huge yard sale i have almost half of one of my storage units filled up completely with yard sale items the last yard sale we did was really awesome we made over a thousand dollars and i maybe had 15 or 16 boxes like home depot boxes filled with stuff to sell this time i already have about 20 of those boxes ready to go and we still have eight pallets to open up so it's gonna be an absolutely huge yard sale if you guys want to throw it on your calendar i'm not gonna tell you the address yet but it will tentatively be the first weekend in october which is saturday october 3rd if you guys are anywhere in the vicinity of lexington south carolina and you'd like to come to the garage sale it will be that day at probably 7 00 a.m i'll announce it on my channel maybe the week before to give you guys the exact address of the warehouse where we will have our sale but i'm excited we have a ton of stuff it should
