My Weed Eater Is Longer Than Yours

all right so I don't think it's any secret that I am kind of impatient so on my main Channel I'm working on a video where I'm going to test Milwaukee stuff against Harbor Freight stuff kind of like a cheap versus expensive type of deal so I bought a Milwaukee weed eater hedge trimmer and edger that I'm going to compare against the Harbor Freight versions the problem is the Milwaukee one got already got delivered and the Harbor Freight one's not going to be here for like another three days and I'm impatient and I am not gonna I can't just wait another three days to test this stuff out and see how it works so we're gonna do like a little uh I guess like a preliminary type of video where I'm just gonna test this stuff out just a little bit to kind of you know scratch that itch and just like you know make sure everything functions okay so I've already kind of played with it a little bit the what the kit that I have is the Milwaukee uh I think it's called quick lock system where this part of these shafts just unhook and then you have like one uh like base motor I guess and it comes with a eight amp hour high output battery which is like massive [Music] it has a rabbit and a turtle mode and I've kind of played with it a little bit like I've already I I with the weed eater I mowed like this much grass just because again I'm impatient and there is something that I want to point out that is a little uh like weird is that's the way that this weed eater sounds it has like a it makes like a screeching noise like what is that because like here oh usually it doesn't do it at slow speeds yeah it's like it it's weird it's like it it's not there and then all of a sudden it's there so I don't really know what that's about I don't know if that's a problem that's another reason why we're kind of doing this preliminary test all right let's see what kind of power this thing has I'm just going to do this one little strip right through here [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] foreign [Music] well it was enough to break the siding right here aren't we like that although I probably shouldn't have hit the siding the squealing seems to like happen and then go away which is a little odd thank you all right so whatever that squeaking noise was um like after I don't know just a few minutes of run time that seems to have completely gone away so I guess maybe there was just something I don't need a work Dan or something so I'll go ahead and show you how to change the heads which most of you already know but it's very very easy just undo this and there's a button that's it and now we're going to switch to the edger attachment and we're going to Edge all this and I've in the comments about my horrible edging job keep in mind I've never I've used an edger I think once maybe twice in my life so keep that in mind now it makes sense it's got the wheel on it to just kind of you know do it like this so I guess maybe we'll start here and go backwards that kind of makes sense to me [Music] is that what that's supposed to look like foreign [Music] [Music] let's try here this thing definitely has enough power that's that's for sure I'll show you how much power it has since I don't really care about my grass you can just literally just dig a hole I mean that's that's all the way as far as it goes that fast so plenty of power the first time I went over this I don't think I even pushed record like an idiot so it's not that good so I'm just gonna go over it I mean I'm sure you're not supposed to be scraping the blade but how how do you prevent that I think another problem is that all of this has never been done ever okay that's not where you want what you want to do oh [Music] I think that looks absolutely horrible but it's also never been done so I don't know maybe if I kept up with it for like a full summer uh maybe over time it would start to look better but and if I got better with an edger but that looks bad oh all right so first with the hedge trimmer let's just try to trim off some some of this tree now this thing is a unit this is very heavy so let's just try to [Applause] I mean that's like easy [Applause] let's try like a bigger bigger branch uh okay nothing too big foreign you can get pretty pretty big stuff in there it's not bad all right I don't want to do too much because I need to save some for the video but see if we can just Lop off some of this no literally no problem about this right here I mean that was actually kind of thick I mean that's that's pretty substantial for a little hedge trimmer all right I have one last thing that is funny that I want to show you so with this you have this this Motorhead you can also buy extension poles so like for the hedge trimmer and stuff so you can stick this come on in here and then you can take like your weed eater head stick that in there and then now you have a weed eater that's like I don't know how tall it is probably eight or nine feet long so now you can you can really you can really just just do some weed eating foreign works I don't know where this would come in handy but like maybe like on a hillside or something you could kind of just like reach up and and do it but
