My Sister Ruined My Life

[Music] hi I am Jen and I'm gonna tell you a story about how my sister ruined my life having siblings can be kind of rough they pull your hair and tease you sometimes life just seemed so much better if they weren't there well everyone has thought that I know for a fact that my life would have been amazing if my sister had not been there she has ruined my life now you might be thinking oh this is just some kind of sibling rivalry you'll get over it and realize how much you love each other no my sister has completely ruined my life in ways that the family doesn't do she might be the spawn of the devil with how much hatred and malice she has for me and all that she has done it first started with her stealing my toys of course this might be normal sibling behavior to anyone else but my sister never gave them back and denied ever taking them when I told our parents they checked her room but my toys were nowhere to be found she made them completely disappear if this had been the only evil experience that I've had with my sister and I wouldn't be saying that she ruined my life but it's not there are several more stories where she has done things my first job for example I had been so excited to get a job I was determined to work hard no matter what my station when I first heard that my sister was visiting me at work I was happy she was coming to support me and spend some quality sister time together but that was not her intention at all she arrived at my work and was seated without a hitch I wouldn't up to serve her and everything was going great it wasn't until I brought her the food she had ordered that she started acting up as I set her plate down she started yelling at me she made up crap like she saw me spit on her food and that I was belittling her and glaring at her I asked her what she was doing and she angrily stood up and shouted even louder screaming that she would never come here again and the service was awful and that I should be fired the manager came up to us and asked what was wrong I began to explain that this was my sister and that I have no idea what she is doing but she screamed over me repeating her accusations I ended up getting fired that day all because of my sister if this was not bad enough she also stole my first relationship I had been dating this one boy from my class and things were going great he was super sweet and caring we had adorable dates and I was excited when he he came over to my house for dinner and to meet my family at the same time I was nervous about my sister acting up again but with my mom and dad in the house I didn't think she would but I was wrong things were going great during dinner my parents seemed to like him and my sister hadn't acted weird at any point in time I was hopeful that this would be a success at least until I went to the bathroom and came back to find my sister and my boyfriend gone I asked my parents where they were and they said that she was showing him the house I ran around the house looking for them before finally checking my room my sister and my boyfriend were on my bed making out I couldn't believe it people can be evil but how can anyone be this heartless my sister spotted me gaping at them in the doorway and instead of pulling away she pulled him deeper into the kiss I felt sick I ran out of the room and started sobbing to my parents leaving on a business trip and thought Martha and I would have girl bonding time she used my dad's trip to fully make me aware of her ulterior motives and intentions she wanted my father's money and didn't want me getting in her way in order to oppress me she made me clean the house for hours while my dad was gone on business for two weeks during that period of time it was hell I would scrub the wooden floors with a tiny brush and floor cleaner then Martha would track mud along the freshly cleaned floors oops she smirked at me with a malicious stare in her eyes did I do that guess you'll have to redo the floors and she proceeded to track her footprints all along the floors at night when I got some form of reprieve away from her in order to rest and prepare for all the household chores I was to do the next day I would cry myself to sleep curling into a ball pleading to the universe to make this woman go away every night I hope she would disappear when I awoke in the morning but every morning I woke up to the sound of her banging pots and pans to get me up to do chores or pouring a bucket of water on my head when my father returned her lists of chores for me became even more extensive because my father would only be back for a day or two before leaving longer and longer on business she never allowed me to leave the house I was completely and utterly controlled and I was thankful when I noticed the next morning that she packed her stuff I knew where she was going silly girl sure enough a few weeks later I heard she was staying in a caravan with Andy when working out about what happened the whole town turned against them people on the street started hurling abuse at them and Andy had a rude word sprayed all across his ute eventually they move towns I was glad I no longer to run the risk of bumping into them in time I divorced Andy and moved on four years later I received a text from a friend you'll never guess who's on TV she said I flipped over to the channel she mentioned and my mouth hung open in shock the program an age gap love Andy and Beth were boasting about their relationship it revealed they were no married and with two children good luck to them I just hope that knows that when she gets too old for him and he will be training her in for a younger model it's just what he does the rat and he claimed the marriage fell apart because Samantha rekindled her relationship with her ex which she denies he said Samantha reported us to the police to which no action was taken due to no evidence this shows I did nothing wrong and neither diary as I scanned the dates it dawned on me that I'd missed my period I was five days late my heart thumped as a race to the chemist to pick up a pregnancy test surely I wasn't pregnant when I got home I peed on the stick and spent two agonizing minutes waiting for the result as it came up I let out a whale it was positive I hadn't slept with anyone since the boy in the club his name was John oh and he and Jen had become an official couple how had he got myself into this mess I decided I would tell people half of the truth they would say that I slept with a guy after a night out at the club but I didn't know his name at the time that was true the following day I knew I had to tell Jen when I got to her house I fumbled nervously with my sleeve as she answered the door Jen I'm pregnant I slept with a guy on a night out but I don't remember his name it came out of my mouth like vomit I looked down at the floor ashamed I didn't want to see the expression on her face but she was so supportive Sara that is amazing you're going to have a mini-me running around I couldn't be happier for you she said her encouragement felt like a knife to the heart she was being lovely but I was stabbing her in the back as my pregnancy progressed her relationship with Johnno went from strength to strength they even planned to move in together when she introduced us I pretended I'd never met him every time I saw Jen the truth was on the tip of my tongue but I could never muster the courage to tell her I wished she would just dump the guy so that the issue would just go away but that
