hi my name is cassie and i managed to convince all my classmates in a new school that i was the secret daughter of celebrities but soon i got into huge trouble because of my lie this story started when my family and i moved to another city my parents work as interior designers and managed to build a good career even among very influential people they often showed me photos of the luxurious mansions in which they worked those photos heeded my imagination i imagined that my parents were famous all over the world and one of those mansions was our house i was so carried away by these dreams that i became really interested in the life of pop and movie stars and thoroughly studied each of their actions that was caught on camera i even began to copy them but my classmates didn't like it at all the guys decided that i was a spoiled brat they didn't see a true future star in me with a meek disposition and manners of high society but i really wanted to be the daughter of celebrities so that everyone would pay attention to me and one day i caught a break we moved to another city and i went to a new school in which i stretched the story of my life a little i had a simple plan since no one knew me i could pretend to be anyone and i really wanted to become the daughter of celebrities just like in my dreams my parents managed to earn enough money for me to renew my wardrobe so i was fully prepared for going to the new school and looking drop dead the first minute i got to the new school i began to use all the tricks i learned while stalking the celebrities and their children in the media in my opinion everything seemed to be quite convincing but the guys weren't going to believe me right away the question of who my parents were didn't scare me because i was ready for it i told the guys that my parents would have trouble if people found out that they had a daughter because envious rivals could take advantage of this far from everyone believed me and then i brought photoshop into play the next day i showed the guys the photos in which i hung out or chatted with different actors musicians and just influential people but even after that there were people who didn't believe me then i had the last proof point last but not least it was the mansion of the real celebrities in which my parents worked the owners went to a resort on vacation while repairs were underway in their house it meant that i could show it to the guys and even have a party there i thought it was a good plan and i brought it to life the guys had no doubt at all after i showed them the mansion we hung out and i had fun with my new friends till late that night there it was the life that i dreamed of so much i was shining like a star until i noticed that the canvas of one of the very expensive paintings that hung in the mansion's living room was damaged i nearly fainted when i saw it because the painting probably cost more than both cars that my parents owned i started shouting at the guys and tried to find out who did it everyone was silent and no one confessed to what was done i was outraged and blurted out that it wasn't my house but even such a confession didn't help me at all the guys were blown away when they finally got it they just laughed at me and left i was left alone with a revealed lie a heap of rubbish and a spoiled expensive painting a smudgy stain occurred on the painting i couldn't paint it over to make it look the way it used to look originally because i wasn't an artist like my parents so i decided to just wipe off the stain thus i rubbed a small hole in the canvas trying to remove the stain if the owners of the mansion saw the painting in such a condition they would destroy my parents reputation and even insist on paying damages and then everything that they had achieved through hard work would come crashing down i imagined my mom and dad painting the walls in some shack and burst into tears in tears and panic i cleaned up the mansion after the party then i hid the painting from my parents hoping that they wouldn't notice it the owners had to come back in a week and i really had to solve the problem with the painting for the sake of my parents after my deception was revealed to my classmates i turned from the daughter of celebrities into a crazy girl the very next day no one spoke to me they turned to me only to make fun of me the fact that i was the one who caused the whole situation with my lies hurt the worst i kept thinking about the painting i was scared to tell mom and dad about it because they would be very angry with me no one could help me with the painting i had to take matters into my own hands and i began to shape a plan to save myself and my parents i came up with the first idea i could fake a robbery on the one hand everything was very easy thieves broke into the house at night and stole the painting the cameras were turned off during the repair and it worked in my favor i was inspired by this idea but i still decided to make sure and just randomly asked my parents about the safety of the mansion mom and dad smiled and convinced me that no one would dare steal from these people because they have weight and the criminal would be surely found and severely punished after that conversation i went to my room and started crying in despair i didn't sleep at all and went to school i saw my classmates there again they made fun of me all the time and it was unbearable i was lost in thoughts about the painting for the next few days it had a bad effect on my studies i couldn't sleep or eat at all my parents kept saying that the mansion was the pinnacle in their careers and that just fueled the flame so much time without proper sleep and normal food affected me in a bad way i had eye sacs lost a few pounds and became absolutely absent-minded at that time i certainly didn't look like a daughter of celebrities mom and dad noticed a change in my appearance and were really worried they tried to cheer me up in every possible way but i imagined our family living in a broken trailer night after night i tried so hard to find information on the restoration of paintings finally i found a place where they could help me i had to pretend to be the daughter of celebrities again so that they wouldn't think that something was wrong this time my lie worked i had to spend all my savings and sell a lot of my personal belongings to pay for the restoration but at least finally there was hope for the best i had to take back the painting on the day the owners of the mansion returned but i was still nervous and stressed the whole situation exhausted me so much that i fell asleep unexpectedly in a lesson i dreamed about how i was running inside a huge painting and trying to fix the canvas but it kept getting dirty and torn the teacher woke me up and told me to go to the blackboard in order to punish me for sleeping in the lesson the guys made jokes about me getting tired at another posh party for the first time i thought that i wanted to change schools because i couldn't study there anymore on the day before day x the restoration artist contacted me and said that unfortunately the painting couldn't be restored since i had rubbed the hole in the canvas i was at school at that moment so i left school without saying a word to anyone right in the middle of the school day to take a walk i thought that i could find and buy a replica of the picture at any cost this idea lifted my spirits a little but my enthusiasm subsided in a couple of hours i saw only two replicas on sale and they cost a fortune the day was coming to an end and i wandered around the city with almost no money in my pocket i was about to spend my last pocket money on some trifle to please myself at least a little but suddenly i came across a pawn shop where the same picture stood even i noticed slight differences and thus was able to understand that it was a replica it was a disastrous and very risky move i knew that for a fact but i decided to buy the painting and hang it in the right place meanwhile i prepared to take all the blame upon myself protecting my parents as hard as i could if necessary the next day we went to show the mansion to the owners my parents were really nervous because their customers were very influential people and if they liked everything mom and dad would become extremely famous if they didn't like it my parents careers would be over the owners of the mansion looked at everything around the house for a long time admiring the renewed interior they passed the painting several times and never even looked at it when my parents apologized for rearranging a lot of valuable items the owners only laughed saying that they didn't remember even half of their vases statues and paintings all this time i was sitting in the living room and counting every second of my stay there i was waiting for yelling and swearing but fortunately it didn't happen a few hours later we drove home with a reference from the customers and a new upmarket work contact after experiencing such stress i fell asleep in the car when the work was finished my parents decided to have a serious talk about my condition and i said that it was all because of the new school and the mean classmates this was partly true my parents thought for a while and agreed to transfer me to another school i had to wait another month before leaving my horrific class this time i knew exactly what the lie led to so i decided to be myself it helped me break free and make new friends but the story of the painting still haunts me i'm afraid that the owners of the mansion will sooner or later find out the truth and then my parents will lose a lucrative contact and reputation because of my mistake have
