my new house mate + solo beach vacation! - VLOGMAS 🎄

you have news what is it me my new roommate coffee is not a meal emotion just craving things let's go to the ocean like i don't care much [Music] i'm really sorry if you can hear the dripping in the background it's been raining overnight and the like gutters on my house make the rain drip really loud and really obnoxiously it's very annoying definitely kept me up last night but it's fine fine we're fine it's sunday today and it is 9 30 a.m and i only just got out of bed i think partly because of the weather it was just so gloomy and it's actually kind of cold i mean like singleton jeans but it has been like 40 degrees in brisbane recently and so now all of a sudden it's raining and it's kind of cold so i kind of just made the most of it and stay in bed for as long as possible i've just gotten up and i'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed with my house and the amount of work that i have to do i think they're the two like main factors my housemate rachel moved out a couple of days ago and the house just looks so empty and i feel like when my environment changes i really struggle even though my environment hasn't really changed that much um even just waking up in this house alone is super super strange my brother will be moving in shortly hopefully next week but we're just waiting on the real estate and owners to approve his application which i'm not really stressed about but it's just a couple of days of me working on this house alone which i kind of love i love not being an inconvenience to anyone like i love getting to wake up and not worry about whether i'd be too loud if i were to go shower or like play my music or like come down to the kitchen be in anyone's way it was very nice but i feel like this could get lonely very very quickly but yeah that's kind of where i'm at at the moment and i also have a lot of work to do especially because this coming week is so busy i am going away for a couple of days so i have a lot of work to get done so that my work is all done scheduled sort of to go while i'm away but anyway it is sunday i rolled out of bed i showered i look like a bit of a mess and i'm just in the kitchen i'm gonna make some breakfast have my protein notes for breakfast because i eat that every day what's new i'm gonna have a coffee as well because i really really need it i'm so tired and i think because the weather is so bad i'm gonna chuck on a jacket and take my laptop to a coffee shop and get some work done because i know like when the weather is gloomy at home i never get work done like ever ever so this afternoon i'll probably be spending some time with my grandma and my family which will be really really good and then tonight i have church at 5 30 so that's my day today pretty boring pretty standard but yeah i'm gonna have some breakfast cause i'm starving [Music] do [Music] do [Music] do [Music] i'm finally dressed and all ready to go i just need to pack up my laptop and my planner and head out the door the weather is pretty rainy and a little bit cold so i actually had to wear a winter outfit today which is so fun so exciting i don't remember the last time i wore jeans and a jacket so i'm obsessed i'm vibing with this i have on this black ribbed siglet from singlet singlet from princess polly i don't think you can see but it has like a little like draw string thing action down the side which i love i've tucked on this black denim jacket also from princess polly on over the top my black belt is from kmart and so are these jeans i have these in a light wash blue and this color and i'm obsessed with them and then i have on some black and white pants as well i don't know what the style of these are called but i've had them for ages and i just never wear them so i thought today was the day let's go get a coffee and get some work done speaking i was just trying to double check do you guys do dining at the moment yeah we do the only thing we're not accepting is the thermocouple okay perfect thank you so much for that one no right oh i hate saying bye ooh phone calls i didn't want to drive through his wrath as far away so that's incredible [Music] i was 15 when the world put me baby [Music] i just made two cups of coffee it's been a hot minute since i chatted to you last this morning as you saw i went to the rappers and i stayed there for i think three or four hours editing which is really good i got lots done i got my video done for today and i like half edited my video for then i no no not tomorrow tuesday tuesday i still have so much work to do like i'm nowhere near called out to where i should be i have so many emails to reply to that i just keep putting off partly because i don't know how to reply to them because they're asking me questions that i don't know the answer to but it is now like past 9 p.m i think it's almost 10 p.m i just got home from church but i'm exhausted so i've just come home i've made a moon milk in my cat mug like the 80 year old i am i'm actually just doing a little bit of work i've got a vlog up on my computer here just editing you know how it is clearly not having a good work-life balance definitely something i'm working on but it's fine i'm gonna take my makeup off drink my moon milk and head to bed i have a pretty big day tomorrow the next two days are probably going to be pretty big just lots of work to get done before the rest of the week lots of editing lots of emails and i also need to pack for me going away so that's my update i guess i'm going to give it and i will catch you tomorrow good morning friends it is now monday i'm back with a relation she may be moved out but we are still inseparable more than like 24 hours but we just went to an atm got some cash out and we're about to go to our hairdressers which i'm so excited about i got my hair done in i think it was like june but i also put lengthen as one of my hair goals and my function of beauty for the last like three bottles i've gone through so my hair is just growing way too fast and i'm not a fan of the length if i'm honest so i have now taken lengthen off my hair goals and i'm going to get a haircut i'm getting a cut and a dye well both are i think i'm probably going a lot darker than what my hair is right now but i feel like i'm on like the verge of it being not orange but like see look at my paint on the light sorry this is what i want i feel like the lighting is like not it like my hair just looks like the roof and i'm wearing black which i shouldn't have done but i want to look like this literally i don't know who that is are you wearing makeup good choice oh anyway we should go i will bring you along fresh [Music] a quick little update from me and my fresh hair i have already lost all of the curls that the hairdresser put in there's a couple just down the bottom but it is pretty much back to being straight again but i am obsessed i feel like you can't really talk because i'm wearing black but it's nice and short it's nice and freshly dyed i'm seriously obsessed it doesn't make sense because it's not my true self but i really just feel like myself when i have short dark hair i love it i'm all about it it's currently just past quarter past three and i've just been sitting at the dining room table editing rachel came over for a bit we had a little bit of a work party a bit overwhelmed but i've gotten so much work done i'm pretty sure i've completely edited a vlog i've seen make the thumbnail but i have pt at four so i need to go upstairs take my makeup off put my hair up put my runners on and head to pt normally i have pt twice a week two half an hour sessions but because i'm away this week i had to cram my two sessions in before i leave for the beach on wednesday so we're gonna do an hour session today which i've never done an hour session before so i think i'm gonna die i mean i've done hour sessions before just not like pt sessions so he's gonna literally kill me for a straight hour we'll see how we go i might die i might make it alive we'll have to wait and see i'm gonna take my makeup off put my hair up i'm really sad that i'm gonna get my new hair all sweaty it's just what has to happen let's go work out [Music] i really intended to film so much of that workout i was like yep gonna be an hour give me a great gym montage didn't pick up my camera once are you gonna cut me off absolutely not so yeah anyway i finished bt i didn't film anything i honestly just died for 60 minutes straight i don't think i've struggled through a session that bad in quite a while i also hit a new squat pb i almost don't even want to call it a squat pb because i don't get depth on my squat so i feel like i'm not even allowed to call it a squat but i scored 120 kilos for three reps i died anyway the first exercise we did was squats for the bar obviously he called it a pyramid i'm pretty sure i can't remember the weights if i'm quite honest but we started at 60 kilos for 15 reps and then i ended on 120 kilos for three reps and then i worked my way back up to 60 kilos for 15 reps so i did 15 12 8 6 3 very difficult very hard would not recommend at all and that was the first exercise i still have like a whole 50 40 minutes left in my workout after the spots absolutely not my fresh hair completely soaked like was dripping nose was stripping elbows were dripping my shirt is completely drenched i don't know if you can tell there's like a couple of dry patches at the front the rest is just soaked really good time all around for everyone involved my pt and i have discovered this afternoon that i am not an afternoon workout gal i really am not i don't have it in me why is my bird squeaking like that all of a sudden i've also never wanted to throw up in a workout more in my life absolutely not i'm so dead i feel like physically like exhausted mentally that was so mentally tough for me to get through anyway that's me complaining done it is now 5 40. i spent way too long there just complaining after the session i don't know how my pt puts up with me honestly props to him my pt did tell me that i'm allowed to have two pieces of toast with honey on it you get some sugar backing me after that workout and i am taking that advice and i'm going to eat that toast of honey and i'm excited ow i bit my tongue you have news what is it me my new roommate i brought over a load of stuff his bed is like pretty much set up how good i'm gonna eat dinner and do some work that's the update good morning friends it is now tuesday i'm off on a little facebook marketplace adventure this morning i've never bought anything off facebook marketplace oh my gosh i didn't get cash out ah that's okay i'll just go to petrol station i've never bought anything off facebook marketplace by myself my brother and my dad are both like very big facebook marketplace fans and my brother was over last night and i was telling you how much i need a tv unit but all the ones i wanted from fantastic furniture were online only and i didn't really want to wait and like order one and wait for it to come so he just started scrolling around on facebook marketplace i found this really cute secondhand ikea tv unit it's pretty much exactly what i wanted it's a little bit more wooden than i wanted i wanted a little bit more white but i think for the price and the convenience of it 100 worth it worse comes to worse i can always paint the top of it white anyway there's always ways around it am i going the right way absolutely no idea i'm really lost anyway i'm going to pick up this tv unit it's literally 50 bucks i'm very excited i'm really hoping that it fits in my car like really just hoping for the best here let me drive home drop it off home and then rachel and i are going out for coffee with georgia georgia kate i'm so excited i haven't seen her in a little while and i miss her so much i'm just so very excited to get a coffee we're gonna hang out for a bit it's good and then after coffee i'm just coming home and getting straight back into editing while we're out i do also need to get a photo for naked harvest so i've packed my pre-workout and i match my outfit to my pre-workout because i am that person i made some i'll keep this and drink this this afternoon but i made some photos we're prepared we're getting it done this morning i'm lost but we're getting it done you know just a quick update i got the money this is the road i'm driving down right now i think i'm like driving to my death i'm scared for myself but also vlogging makes me feel like i'm here with someone the road is very bumpy i'll keep you updated what a successful marketplace experience can i just say this tv unit 50 bucks guy who sold it to me legend so nice so kind he had like five dogs that all jumped on my car and laid at my feet while he was loading it into my car top load top tv unit literally i was about to drop 300 on a tv unit from fantastic furniture just dropped 50 bucks on one that looks a little bit worn but it's gonna look worn once i use it anyway i'm impressed i'm stoked you can probably tell but like just fits in my car i opened my boot and i put my chairs down he was like oh i don't think that's gonna fit and i was like what like my car was the tiniest bit smaller would not have fit how good i'm so excited what a successful [Music] [Music] i've been working so much lately [Music] i can barely find the time to sleep yeah i spend my time running around keeping people pleased but this is my favorite we just finished up having coffee with george love her so much she's so great i can't contain it she's too good every time i hang out with a friend i'm like why do i not see them every single day right coffee was great did you like your coffee i did finish it i know i think the brownie combo with the brownie and a mock up bit much yeah we're gonna get some picks i need one for naked harvest rachel needs one for princess early and then i have so much computer actually a little last but not least let's get some not me not to my pre-workout to my outfit i look like an egg because my hair is up and sweaty i just finished a boxing session with my pt's group fitness thing it was so hard we did so many burpees and so much running and now my new housemate and i eric came up because he's actually spending his first night in the house tonight which i wasn't expecting i came home and he was like um so there's nothing left at home so i think i'm sleeping here tonight and i was like oh my gosh what he was like i also have a massive list from kmart that i need to get before i can like actually live here like he doesn't have like hands open toothpaste and bath mountain random stuff so we're doing a like adult kmart trip so not like a really fun one just like an adult one but it's also great because we have a 65 km voucher how good do you need a toilet brush as well that's the one i have if you care i mean there's a two dollar one yeah gross you're such a boring do you want a bin for your bathroom i really like oh yeah i have this one i really like it that's a bit sad i really like it he also put in the same bath mat that i got last week this is like the foam one from kmart very comfortable he said he walked into my bathroom before stepped on it was like i'm getting that one it's so nice it is also 8 p.m which is a little bit rough i got her from boxing and then i was like okay let's go to kmart i'm coming so i think we'll do this kmart shop and then we might even like pop into wooly's got something for dinner i can't believe he's sleeping here tonight i didn't realize that last night would be my last night alone but also really sad because tonight we're staying there together and then the next four nights i'm on the gold coast so that's really sad you get to live alone for the next four days i'm gonna hate that you just invite all your friends over have fun to your own house that's so fun but all i'm doing for the next three nights is playing volleyball so we wouldn't be hanging out anyway content you can't miss out on content [Music] always i made it home from kmart i don't have a whole future out because i already put it all the way everyone was dm with me saying i hope you have a haul in your next vlog however i did receive a package from factory today which is exciting that you had a little bit of a random start i thought i would sit down and explain where i am what's going on and what my plan is for the next couple of days so it is friday the 18th of december today and this morning rachel beck and i all checked out of airbnb in burleigh we stayed there for the last two nights i had a little girl's stream and it was so fun rachel and beck both vlogged it so i'll have their channels linked down below if you wanted to see what we ended up coming up to unfortunately the weather on the gold coast is just not ideal at the moment and so there was not too much that we could do but i still hope that rachel had a good time and enjoyed her little time away they've all headed home bec's still on the coast with her family for a little while rachel's headed home and i'm actually staying at a different airbnb on my own for the next two nights my pt and his like group of clients who do like group fitness and stuff with we're having our christmas party tomorrow night and it's in surfers paradise and i was like there's really no point me driving all the way back to brisbane back to the gold coast and i'm back to brisbane after the dinner as well and a couple of people are also staying on the gold coast after the dinner so i decided to book myself a little holiday and i'm so excited i've only been on one solo holiday before and it wasn't even solo because rachel ended up coming and joining me anyway i love spending time on my own and i love spending time by the beach especially alone and i know that sounds so silly and i know that so many people wouldn't agree and can't relate which is so fine but i thoroughly enjoy it i love it so much and after the hectic few months that i've had i'm so excited i feel like so much has been going on and happening and i haven't really given myself time to process what i'm doing and i kind of just convinced myself in my head that the busier i was the better it was for me and my brain but that is not always the case oh there's someone parking right in front of me maybe i'll pull a condom just pretend i'm talking on the phone i've booked a cute little airbnb it has a pool which i'm so excited about okay the people have left i can stop with my phone so my check-in isn't until 2 p.m so i have like a little bit of an awkward period of time so i drove myself to pacific fair which i think is a mistake because it is going to be so busy in there because it's almost christmas christmas is next friday i'm so overwhelmed but i'm at pacific fair because i need to edit a whole video and get it up today at 5 00 pm ideally i want to have it done before two so i can check into my apartment and just like chill out for the rest of the night but i highly doubt it because i've hardly edited any of it anyway that's my update i'm gonna go get a coffee get some work done forget about everyone else isn't this how it is [Applause] [Music] oh this is so cute okay i've just checked in and this place is so cute i mean like not the cutest everybody i've ever seen in my life but location incredible and like i have a car park and underground car park it's just like a very big oh my gosh i'm so excited okay and also this lighting impeccable i'll give you a quick tour i honestly haven't even looked all over the place yet this is the doorway and then this is the lounge room lovely blue couch honestly looks very comfortable oh yeah to the right we have a kitchen a big fridge oh love that pantry i feel like this kitchen just looks very like functional you know it has everything you need and then this is like the dining room laundry room area got a tv dining table a huge just wall of mirrors which is so cool air con thank the lord and then this massive door firstly you're gonna have to ignore the river is brown because the rain has made everything gross but this is my balcony i have a balcony it's actually insane this is the pool downstairs i'm literally about to go jump in that no joke there's no one there and then back near the door oh my gosh i have the same washing machine i love that oh maybe i'll do some washing this is the bathroom where's the light tiny little shower shield toilet washing machine dryer love that and a little sink vanity and then just to the left of the bathroom is the bedroom again not the cutest airbnb i've ever stayed in but like so practical we've got two double mirrors why do i do the peace sign every single time i see a mirror oh that's some weird coatings a fan another tv that is incredible another mirror another look at the view are you kidding me i get to see this from my bed i wake up and i look out and i see this you're kidding i'm so excited i've never stayed in like an apartment airbnb before they've always been like granny flats of someone's house i feel like this feels like a bit more of a holiday because it's in an apartment i had to like drive through a garage door and i could have a car park and i had to go up the lift like it just feels like a holiday destination i can't believe i have a pool should i go to the beach or the pool i'm really hungry so i think i should go out get food and then go to the beach and then we come home and like rinse off in the chlorine in the pool you know i didn't bring any bags up with me because i just wanted to check in with all the keys and stuff know where i was going instead of carrying like my whole life i'm gonna go to my car i have a lot of stuff that i needed just for the girls weekend so i'm going to leave the majority of my stuff in my car and just bring up what i need thank goodness has a lift here though oh my gosh how funny that there's a hand sanitizer next to the like welcome book just covered things oh my gosh they have the same tv as me too i'm shocked the same tv and the same washing machine i clearly just chose a very good don't even care what we do if we spend it with you and nobody [Music] this is the weirdest angle ever you're sitting in a cupboard but i wanted to give you my ubereats haul for the night i ordered so much food this is obviously not a normal everyday occurrence i ordered a family meal for just myself family meal that had two chips two burgers two drinks two desserts why do i like this so because it's like a big meal i got two like smaller burgers i got a cheeseburger and a mcchicken i got a normal chips and i also got i don't know what this is even called a loaded aioli barbecue chips and then for my drinks got a large coconut sugar because health queen oh it's a medium i got a medium chocolate shake and i got two oreo mcflays so i'm gonna put the mcflurries and the shake in the freezer and honestly just eat these throughout the next two days and the rest i'm gonna eat right now and i'm very excited my video is slowly being edited i'm going to chuck some youtube on and chill out for a little bit eat and then get back straight into my work [Music] morning friends happy saturday i've woken up feeling so good i tried to have a sleep in like i closed my curtain so that i could just wake up naturally whenever i wanted to my body ended up waking me up at 6 30 and i only went to bed at 12 30 so i'm still feeling pretty tired it's also pretty gloomy outside there's like bits of blue sky trying to peek through and i checked the weather up and it says it's going to get sunny at about 10 currently quarter to eight i've just gotten dressed just into some activewear so that i can walk around comfortably and actually gonna walk to a starbucks that's just up the road which is very exciting i haven't had starbucks in like years just because like i like the raffles and there's like seraphis is a more local store but i'm very excited so i'm gonna go get a coffee i'm gonna take some work with me i'm gonna edit until it's pretty much sunny and then i want to spend some time i'm gonna have to walk back and then walk back to the beach because i don't want to carry like my whole beach bag with me to starbucks i keep going to save her office and then i'll probably chill by the pool maybe two by the beach i'll see what i end up feeling like i think i'm gonna get to the beach a fair amount tomorrow so i feel like i might enjoy the pool today while i can the weather is like not ideal but it's also not raining you can't see that so i'm not gonna complain i've packed up my bag got my laptop and everything in here i'm gonna take my keys my other keys and go for a walk [Music] i've just come home oh i need to turn to switch off i've just gotten home from starbucks i i'm such an idiot just turned 1pm and i was in i keep going to save your office i was in starbucks and i was like i'm a bit hungry what's the time looked and it was like 11 30 and i hadn't eaten anything i was like georgia coffee is not a meal i had been sitting in cerakus starbucks for so long just editing drinking my coffee and then i got a burrito and some boost on the way home and i just sat on my balcony and ate that with the view watched some youtube it was honestly a great time i've just popped into some summers and i'm gonna go shopping and then on my way back i'm gonna come and go for a swim in the pool the weather has turned out to be absolutely incredible and i knew this would happen this is what i was waiting for look at that weather are you kidding me look at the pool are you kidding and it's empty like why is no one at the pool right now i'm confused that's my update it is currently 10 to 10 p.m and i haven't updated you in so long i honestly was just enjoying some silence i stopped playing music in my airpods everywhere i went and i just chilled out by the pool off my phone just lying there i went for a swim i did do a little bit of shopping and then i came home and pretty much just got ready for my dinner tonight so the main reason i'm actually staying on the gold coast is because tonight my pt and here's that group of clients we all went out to dinner to celebrate the end of the year and just hang out so we went to longboards in surfers paradise and it was so good had a massive chicken burger incredible we went and got some dessert went and saw the beach had a great time we just walked everyone off to their separate apartments and now i am home i'm going to shower because we walked like a fair distance i got up an extra like 4 000 steps just from walking around for food and stuff so that's really good i've hit 13 300 steps which is 3 000 more than my usual but i'm going to have showers i'm a bit sweaty and then i'm gonna kind of tidy up my apartment tomorrow morning my pt is running a boot camp a beach boot camp which i wish that i had an excuse to say no to go to i mean like i technically don't have to go but i don't really have an excuse to say no i'm staying on the coast it's literally a five minute walk away from me and everyone else is doing it so i'm going to do it i don't want to work out on the sand i really don't want that for me sounds awful so we're doing that at 6 00 am tomorrow we're meeting at the surface paradise sign and then after the boot camp we're gonna go out for breakfast together and then after that i think i'll just come home and check out of my apartment and go home so i kind of want to have everything packed up tonight so tomorrow it's not much of a hassle so i'm gonna shower pack up my apartment try to go to bed as soon as possible i haven't talked to you in a little while but i had the best morning at the beach this morning i had a quick swim before i had to check out and then i drove straight to my friend grace's house and we're having our small group social with our church friends tonight tonight this afternoon so we're having a big christmas lunch christmas rachel's here with the fruit platter as usual a masterpiece also rachel and i no longer live together and we rocked off in the same shirt what can you do really hey mister oh you're such a good boy [Music] [Music] i think he loves the like a such rocking baby it's really flattering my face is a little bit red i got a bit sunburned but i am home now i spent pretty much the whole afternoon unpacking cleaning my room doing washing doing more washing tidying the house i just had a shower i am in bed i'm so excited to go to sleep i feel really sad honestly being home from the beach the beach was the best and i feel like i was just getting like the relaxation holiday mode and then i had to come home but i had a really really good morning beach boot camp was great had breakfast went for a beach walk then went for a swim in
