My Last Gum Ball Machine Collection of 2022

hello and welcome back to another Oxford super host video how y'all been doing I haven't uploaded a video in months because not much to talk about you know the Airbnb bust is going on everybody and their mother is going out of business because there's no bookings so there's not much you know I can share with you on my Airbnb Journey but I can talk to you about my gumball machines that's right I got into it over a year ago by putting a gumball machine in my Airbnb and I thought hmm I'll investigate this further and I looked into it and I met a man down in Florida that had a thousand machines just in one County and that's all he's been doing all his life and on a bad day he makes a thousand dollars cash and quarters so I thought I'd monopolize my little town of Oxford here no one else is doing it so I think I'll give it a try I'm gonna take you along and show you what it's like to get some money out of my gumball machines they're mostly on the root going to my Airbnb and that's when I stopped by and check on them but today is New Year's Eve and there's no gurus to with today they're all taking the day off so I thought I'd go visit the places that I haven't gone this past week because they've been closed for Christmas and opened up today for the first time or they're not on the path to my Airbnb but first my subscribers want to see some footage of me with these fake ass gurus on my radio station my radio rocks I can legally play the whole conversations and you know just put them in their place and so for my subscribers I'm not gonna disappoint you I want you to meet Chanel Rose she's out of Chicago and she's new to the game she's been a guru since July and I clicked on her little marketing funnel and found her little Facebook group and I sit in on her Zoom calls just for entertainment to see what she tells them and it's the same Playbook it is the same thing all the other gurus matter of fact she's in cahoots with some gurus called the Airbnb big break no the Airbnb breakdown she's good friends with him and I suspect that's where she bought her Guru package you know them white labeled packages you buy from that nice old couple in New Zealand that will get you they'll sell you a you know white labeled books to put on Amazon and all the packages telling the same thing about getting rich with Airbnb Arbitrage [Laughter] and uh she has several of these Zoom calls live on her Facebook group all the time and I like to sit in there and just bite my tongue as she does through her spill to the one or two people that actually show up but this time about five people were there and I made comments about what's really going on with the economy people only traveling because they have to and how I like to join these Facebook groups to buy all of the furniture and other amenities of these people that Filled from these gurus prove some of their Investments Jim you are not helping encouragement not this kind of thing positive encouragement that's Guru talk a thing in other groups because people are closing their units and you're taking advantage of people again making them go broke shame on you oh well on to our Gumball Journey here's a barber shop I recently got a good location about three months ago and I put in a brand new triple head Rhino machine now this location they love their cinnamon gumballs that's what sells the best here I've had to refill it once so far they like their jawbreakers and they're on the fence about the sour cotton candy gumballs for some reason but they do gradually sell and they just opened up today after Christmas and I'm sure they'll be closed tomorrow so I took this window of opportunity to just go in there and see what's happened you know they're kind of off the beaten path to my Airbnb and only made one quarter but this machine has gotten dirty since my last visit and some white milky substances all over the handle I don't know what it is uh huddle houses you'll see later is a even a better location but it's open 24 hours a day and people spill their coffee on it or whatever and it gets sticky and nasty but that's part of it you got to keep them clean but I love this machine and I love this location and hopefully in 2023 it'll it'll make its money back here's another brand new location I got this about three months ago it's a brand new low brand new Mexican restaurant the building was just built it took them over a year to you know build the building but they are now open and the owner was great he uh asked me if you want a gumball machine and he said yes he didn't you know stutter hesitate or nothing and so here we go this is the triple head classics and I love the little corn drawers there now if used to buy these machines brand new they're three hundred dollars plus shipping I got three of these for 150 each and the seller drove all the way to Oxford to deliver them to me and this location people love the cotton candy that sells the fastest second fastest is your old-fashioned double bubble pink bubble gum you know if you're a baby boomer like me that was practically your only option back in the day but this is my only location in town where people you know consistently buy it so as it filters down in this machine my other locations that offer that product I just bring them over here and let them sell there and then just replenish my other machines with the newest you know product and again great results the last time I visited this this location was I think four days ago all of this location it always brings in an average between 50 to 75 dollars a month so far that's great I love it if you look up the national average of a gumball machine it's ten dollars a month I have this other location is a strip mall that's owned by a friend of mine he's also the president of the HOA where my Airbnb is located what I love about this location is look the the length of this hallway if I don't have a machine on location instead of it instead of it sitting at the house and not making nothing I can put as many machines in this location and let them make money here while I find a location all my machines are out right now and yes check it out I know you're going to hate me in the comments yeah it's a cheap ass plastic vinstar 3000. and this is the only location where my Skittles sell the fastest when these are gone I will never mess with them again they're they slow slowly sell and I just again like with the pink gumballs at the Mexican restaurant at my other locations I just bring the Skittles over here and dump them there and let them sell and as you know from other YouTube videos about vinstar 3000s for some reason the coins hardly ever make it to the coin tray they like to hide up around the mechanism so you always got to reach in there and feel around and see if there's any straight quarters hiding from you but this location it does pretty well I'd say about thirty dollars a month average when I have more machines in there waiting for locations it's averaged up to forty dollars a month you know nothing to brag about but again it's a great place to store your machines until you do find a great location I know someone's messed with it because when we first came in it wasn't flush against the wall it was you know kind of pointing North there and I don't know if that's the children doing it or what's going on Grease Monkey another current great location I've had a machine here for three months and it is a triple head Rhino red in color everybody in their mother has red rhinos I want to be different I only buy green or yellow new ones but I couldn't pass the deal up I found it on Facebook Marketplace for only 75 dollars and then I had to order new gumball wheels for it that's that's all I've had to do and it's consistently performed it makes anywhere from 45 to 65 dollars a month so far now the owner here wants me to find you know full-line vending machines he wants a coke machine and a snack machine or a combo and I haven't made the decision if I'm going to jump into that or not yeah because the economy all the machines I see used they're wanting way too much just like the vinstars I'll talk to you later about that but I don't know about that kind of investment and they're literally next door to McDonald's Walgreens anywhere you know where they can just walk and get a snack or a drink cheaper than if I put a combo machine in there so if anybody wants this location let me know if you're nearby and you're welcome to have it here's another location a brand new business that just opened up I'd say back in October a young lady that's a new entrepreneur opened it up called just fake it no just cake it that's where she got it from but this location has been real slow it's averaging ten dollars a month just like the national average and again here's a triple head Classic rhino setup that I got for half price with the cash drawers I love it these are quality machines I'm going to put 50 Cent mechanisms on these in the future and they were closed from Christmas just opened up today and I saw them open I popped in there now this business is on the way to the Airbnb but they've been closed and not much only three jawbreakers sold I did sell out of the Nerds here but the candy the birthday cake flavors I'm gonna see if that it's more appropriate for the business and look at that Christmas tree not to offend anybody there in King County Washington I I know y'all are canceling them Waffle House I tried to get it but the next best thing is Huddle House I don't know anybody that's been able to conquer a Waffle House but the Huddle House opened 24 7. this is another great location with a brand new triple head rhino and free money and this is Ryan I love the Rhinos because they will take nickels and dimes and pennies but not give any candy out and it's just free money and I'm always finding that in here but the manager here is in charge the district manager told her to take it out she said no she likes it she wants to keep the machine there got a great relationship with the lady so any of you operators out there looking for a Huddle House keep in mind if the manager is worth more to the company for what they want they're going to let it stay and it's not nasty this time so no cleaning just collecting another barber shop just reopened after the Christmas holiday and they changed their furniture around kind of surprised me when I walked in and I know another ven star and she plastic piece of I know y'all are gonna be writing that in the comments but these are workhorses I originally bought five of them for fifty dollars each brand new in the box from a group member on Facebook he had a friend that was going through a divorce and he had a storage unit just filled with these brand new in the box bought them fifty dollars each plus shipping and they're just work horses now I got in this barber shop because the owner wants to buy his own machine or buy one of mine and he's still on the fence but until he makes that decision I'm going to keep the cheap plastic piece of here and then make money but hopefully he'll let me keep vending my gumballs and his establishment and I'll put in a better quality machine in the future all right let's see how much we went out and got today 90.75 cents and I don't know how much I had and pennies dimes and nickels I threw them all in that jug but at the end of the year when it fills up it's free money and I just take it to the bank and deposit it well all right thanks for watching another
