actually the leaf village the leaders of the leaf village plus donzo uh who ordered him to murder all uchihas i guess we'll get the rest of that story in this episode hopefully hope you guys enjoy the father's orders hitachi you also serve as the uchiha clan's pipeline to the village nerf center that's what he meant when he was saying that we've heard that line a lot truly the opposite hitachi was supplying the village with intelligence he was a double agent you can't even imagine what a heavy burden you may never understand his reasons because you've never lived through the horrors of war the third great ninja war when hitachi was merely four years old he saw many people die he should have never had to experience war at such a young age war is hell that trauma turned him into a pacifist who hated warfare one who had the peace and stability of the village for most in his mind and actions instead of being bound by obligation to his clan he was a ninja devoted to his village then the village leaders exploited that trait they assigned him to a top secret mission for they'd need the sharingan to face the uchiha that's right the mission is the eradication of the entire uchiha clan what must itachi have gone through emotionally when he learned of his assignment the decision to raise his hand against his fellow brethren was probably an unbelievable struggle but if ninja the caliber of the uchiha were to revolt both the hiddenly village and the land of fire would be shaken tremendously other nations would take advantage of the situation and invade it could easily become the trigger for the fourth great ninja war the uchiha clan self-interest would embroil innocent people who had nothing to do with the shinobi world and countless people would die once again if you were hitachi what would you have done so he made up his mind he himself would drop the curtain on his own clan's history of course he did not hate the uchiha he simply did what he had to the discrimination by the village and the object of their antagonism he shouldered all the blame himself no one should ever question it decision of the sacrifices he made to be truthful back then i had also been quietly plotting war i held grudges against the send you led leaf as well as the sheeha and itachi had picked up on that he alone knew of my existence he sought me out and made me a proposal in exchange for letting me carry out my vendetta against uchiha i was to leave the village alone he would aid me against the clan the third hokage tried to resolve this situation through other means attempted to open negotiations with yuchiha to reach a compromise but time ran out and his efforts failed tonight from near his feet become known as a criminal who murdered his own clan to bear the burden of disgrace and become a rope ninja that was part of the mission tachi completely fulfilled his duty except for one single mistake he could not bring himself to kill his younger brother [Music] it's just sad and the op brings a new level to it yeah it's just sad it's just sad you know i'm just amazed how perfectly everything fits you know like how it's just everything just falls right [ __ ] into place and everything makes sense that was what amazed me when i first watched because like to watch naruto is to kind of make concessions and like well this and that doesn't like and accept this i guess and this and that but like the way that everything [ __ ] comes together here is like awesome yeah yeah it just sucks and it's so it just sucks like they're they had to use another drink hitachi too because he had the sharingan to take down his clan but it also just worked out so perfectly for them because no one would suspect them if a member of their own clan was the one solely responsible yeah like and they wouldn't have to retaliate against another village like they wouldn't have to put the blame on anyone they could just give the blame to the actual person who did it it's just like really ruin his life he fled the village after threatening if anything were to happen to you hitachi would leak all which is exactly why i'm going to allow you to live imagine if sasuke had killed naruto because of this [ __ ] [ __ ] if you wish to kill me one day he gave you a reason to seek revenge against him and hoped it would make you stronger he wanted you to believe that the uchiha was a proud clan from the hiddenly village he begged the hokage to make sure he would never learn the truth and from the moment he left the village he resigned himself to battling you to the death in order to bestow upon you new powers that is hitachi's truth imagine he just [ __ ] killed him it's all nonsense itachi tried to kill me many times if he thought he really wanted to kill you you would most certainly be dead he even used the manga you're shotting down against me there's no question he was trying to kill me no question even your contingency plans were factored into his calculations he had to pressure you hard during that battle surely you figured out why you understand it now don't you and now it finally emerges he wanted to free you of the curse mark that's just on top of everything hitachi carefully set up everything in that battle diverting your attention from the truth by pretending to the very end that he was stealing your eyes you're starting to see the truth you're lying i know it you sent the nine tails to attack the hidden leaf hitachi told me that it was all you're doing he thought he was lying when he told you that he was gripped with fear that he would somehow discover the truth he wanted to make absolutely certain there was no chance of that he fed you lies to make sure you wouldn't trust me you even implanted amaterasu in your eyes there's no way that i ever believe you itachi was pure evil he was a criminal who slaughtered our clan and became an akatsuki he took the burden of all this on himself and fled his birth village and he joined the akatsuki to spy from inside the organization that threatened his village even to the end he was a spy for the hiddenly village just as he always thought of yours as well sasuke hitachi appeared in the hidden leaf village after the death of the third hokage would promise to be your protector you wanted to remind danzo and the counselors that he was still alive and still very much upfront [Laughter] more lies you're still alive aren't you how much can you see when you look with those sharing god of yours my eyes are not the same as they once were my shotting you speak with such confidence as you always do it's like you could see through it now yeah he's literally they literally acted it out like like he was like i'm going to take you down once and for all like hitachi you weren't able to pierce through any of the illusions he created killed his friends superiors his lover his father his mother but he couldn't kill his little brother he killed every shred of feeling in his heart in order to slaughter his own kin for the sake of his village he just couldn't prove himself to kill you do you understand what that means to him your life was even more precious than the village until the moment of his death even after he died it was all for you to confirm new powers by allowing you to defeat him he had avenged [Music] ravaged by illness painfully aware of his impending death illness forcefully prolonged his life with medication all for the sake of his beloved little brother it was like moderate because he had to fight you and die in your presence how crazy is that so planned out he set it up and most of all for you sasuke uchiha and yet hitachi still died with a smile on his face he bequeathed to you the uchiha name still fooling you to the very end i'm home welcome hey come on let's go outside and play together stop that sasuke your brother hasn't had any homework to do you can play after he's finished doing that mom it's okay i can do my homework that's why he was there that's why he showed up and then just [ __ ] left yeah because we were like oh why did he obviously knows where naruto is why didn't he just get naruto then you literally asked that you were like what you literally asked that he was like you were just like why the [ __ ] did he go there for no reason yeah why did he go there why if they wanted naruto why didn't they get him earlier and it was like cause hitachi wasn't uh playing for who we thought he was i guess yeah i almost cried there i i it was really so close it was really really sad and then sasuke turns around and says no this is what i this is what i don't this is this i don't like that i [ __ ] hate that because it's it's such like i know sasuke feels like he's been betrayed but he's also has been betrayed he has been betrayed but now like like now he's become he's like going he's like doing the exact thing that his brother didn't want to happen you know what i mean so that like he wanted the leaf village to be safe and sasuke to not have to experience it be the hero to avenge the uchiha clan to like prove that one of them could be good that he like all the itachi took all that [ __ ] left brought it with him and then sasuke trains becomes the the anti-hero of the hidden leaf village avenges his clan saves everyone then everyone can look upon him like ah sasuke uchiha the hero that saved us from the akatsuki from orochimaru from hitachi and then just and then yeah but yeah but he's not the type to uh be able to just accept that and now he's he's like official and i was saying it was interesting before how he wasn't actually an enemy like he was the enemy of the leaf village but not really only like only in like the because he was rogue and they didn't know what he was going to do not because he had actively declared himself against the leaf village but now he is the new orochimaru he's out here to destroy the leaf village actively that is his plan to destroy the leaf village um which is not really going to solve anything and that's why moderate is a piece of [ __ ] like it's it's weird because it is something that he deserved to know however itachi didn't tell him for a reason and it was because he didn't want what is happening right now to be the result of like itachi made so many like horrible horrible sacrifices so that this wouldn't happen and then it did anyway uh because moderately you knew how to manipulate the situation entire life he dedicated so that sasuke could be the hero and then uh and would be able to let like would be able to potentially be okay like be not like feel like he got revenge and not have to live with that anymore like not have to like think that there's like the enemy is out there and he did this to me but now it's like he went through all of that and then now he's even he's like twice as mad at the leaf village because not only were they the actual ones responsible in the first place then they were also responsible for him killing his like one action like the one remaining family member that did really care about him so and then it sucks because like everyone in the leaf village is gonna face the consequences of like those few people that made that decision that literally no one else knew about it literally there's three people alive today that know about that and they probably are all gonna die pretty soon anyway but yeah itachi wanted everything to die with him and then moderate like he literally did the amaterasu yeah perfect thing this last thing he did was to make sure to keep [ __ ] modera away from him but and the worst thing is his modera isn't telling this to sasuke out of like oh sasuke deserves to know the truth he's literally only telling him that so that he can use him uh against the leaf village which is his own like which is his goal of taking down the leaf village one that betrayed him once and for all so but it's just dumb because he it just sucks because moderate is using the truth to his own advantage to manipulate sasuke into doing what he wants it's not like he's telling him lies he's not lying to him he's not saying he's not he's not making that up like it's clear that that is what happened however it's it just sucks because now like sasuke is going to do whatever matara says presumably in order to get the revenge that he feels like he needs to get now so sucks yeah like it [ __ ] sucks moderate is an [ __ ] like but he's so he's been alive for so long he's he's like waited his his time to he's been waiting for like years and years and years and now he can finally fully get his vengeance because someday i'll get my vengeance because because when itachi said to matara like yeah i will you can help me with this and then you can just leave and like that that can be good enough for you and mata is like yeah sure i'll make you think that but of course itachi knew that he didn't really he wasn't really done with the leaf village uh even though everyone he had a problem with his dead at this point pretty much um everyone yeah everyone moderate knew yeah other than like those three people who like he might still like you right this is like well it's well now a senju is once again the hokage yeah so but it's just it just sucks because she she was literally the obvious choice regardless of that because she was one of the sawning which was like a separate thing that had nothing to do with that it could have it actually was supposed to be jiraiya but part of the reason that she became that she was chosen was because she was the first hokages granddaughter she just seemed like the perfect like face for all this [ __ ] well that's what jarya pulled when he didn't want to do it but uh and i guess dry was the student of the third hokage you know i mean like so there there is that it's the same line of like succession basically it's a it's damn near a [ __ ] monarchy essentially uh not to the degree of say the sand village which we which we learned based from the comments that i didn't actually pick up on but that that's a literal monarchy but um it's still the same thing it's just like it seems like the hokage is constantly going through this like either this student of this hokage or the student the hokage student student and then you know like [ __ ] yeah it just keeps going down and down but at the like but at the same time there is the logic in that of like all the people like the like tsunade definitely in her own right was a force to be reckoned with and is like super powerful and important it's not that they're not i know it's not they're not it's it's just from from the perspective of of like one of the founders it was the [ __ ] senju and the uchiha and then the uchiha got shoved to the fringes of the village um because of one guy and like all the [ __ ] like it just spiraled out of control and got worse and worse and worse until the point where they were going to overthrow the village and the village knew that and had to just completely take them out and they and they not only did that they made them kill themselves yeah that's that's like that's the worst part is they had someone to completely take the blame that could in no way be related to them because it was so it was like a member of their own clan yeah so it was more believable it was because hitachi was so it was such a pacifist and so dedicated and you could see that this was going to be he could he's he was a visionary he really was where he could see what was going to happen if he didn't take action the entire not only just the clan like the clans the [ __ ] v not just like the village but the entire country and civilians who are not even soldiers will get caught up in this war like this and like they'll just be feasted on by the rest of the world if if this goes through that because the uchiha are strong enough to really do some serious damage enough to open them up to like so it's not just oh there'll be a couple battles and a revolt and then a couple riots and it'll calm down like no this will devastate the entire land so it's it's so [ __ ] up and then like what what do you do at that point as sasuke because [ __ ] the the the people who ordered the death of your family are still there like hitachi carried it out for his own reasons but like knowing that now that he knows what is he can he just go back to the leaf village i mean no but like killing everyone in the like then this is getting to more complex stuff of like okay yeah so these people wronged you in like a horrific way however that doesn't mean that you should do the exact same [ __ ] back to these people who had nothing to do with it like yeah probably going in killing donzo and those two advisors i mean yeah but again it's like but it's like the cycle because then it's like but he's gonna go in and kill the two [ __ ] like or three three of three of the heads of this village like you know like but what does he do what can you do that's basically like waging war in the village because that's that's part of the village but if you did that like by yourself and you're like the last of your like who who else are they gonna how can they come back at you for that they can't oh like what they're gonna kill your family or something yeah like what are you gonna do kill my family like you know what i mean like but there's no good way to do it because either like the best option maybe would be just killing those three people and then just like leaving or just leaving in the first place and knowing that those guys are probably gonna die in like two years because they're all old and move on but like going back and like killing all killing all of the like the young children and the random people and like like that's not that's the same thing that you didn't like uh about each other hitachi of what he did you would be becoming the exact same thing um and he does like a very uh sort of appropriate for your uh like your your that insight you had about the manga kyo sharingan being like a representation of the highest evil or like corruption and destruction in the clan now he open he opens his eyes there at this new turning point this fork in the road and he has them on gekko sharingan yeah yeah anything else you want to say it's just i don't like it and now they're the taka but which by the way means hawk so heavy means snake and now they're the hawk hmm interesting yeah okay that one i don't think we talked about this the itachi getting a rochimoro out of sasuke was like that that was like next level stuff big brain big brain hitachi out here just with the last bit of strength like okay i'm about to die now's the f and like he just the whole fight was to drain him of his chakra the whole thing he had to go all out so that sasuke would go all out and then have to resort and so that sasuke would believe because if he just like killed him like he did the first time the genjutsu wouldn't [ __ ] be well yeah well that's that's the thing all the genjutsu was getting him to believe and then everything after that was draining him sealing the deal and then just yeah sealing the deal indeed sealing the deal and now yeah so that you no longer definitely no longer has the curse mark they fully confirm that it's not just like a weird animation thing where it's further on his back or something he does not have orochimaru in him whatsoever at this point he has been cured of that affliction but he now has the mangakyo shard gun and his looks [ __ ] cool as [ __ ] looks really really cool i want to get a shot of that just to see it before we go pretty dope it's like an atom almost it's like when you have one of those um it's almost like when you have one of those things like those those like sp it's like a like a you put a pencil in it and you go around yeah it's like that almost so there you go ladies and gentlemen unless there's anything more you want to say before we get going i guess that's it apparently also i get like it's just so interesting that itachi wanted sasuke to be like the the avenger of his clan and the the hero but it also just like destroyed sask like you know what i mean like if hitachi had maybe just not like sent him on that in the first place he would have still like been upset but it maybe wouldn't have been his driving force you know what i mean that's a good point i think the way that sasuke especially when he was talking to modera about all this where the way that he was like saw like he he the way he was framing it in the way that he was like tackling the conversation it seemed like he had before learning about all that he had intended on like or was thinking about that he's maybe one of the good guys or something like you know what i mean like it seems like he was starting to like remember like what do i do now and he was calling hitachi evil he was an akatsuki he was evil like sasuke six months ago wasn't concerned with evil he was concerned with killing hitachi but now that's over and like he's he's never wanted to kill anyone that was he only wanted to kill one person that was the whole thing and uh so you know who knows maybe it would have worked if he didn't [ __ ] learn we'll never know but it seemed like he was he was the fact that he was talking about hitachi is evil made me think maybe who knows how it could have turned out if matara wasn't there to [ __ ] it all up or if no what i'm saying is if hitachi like did what he did but didn't like instill in sasuke the sense of revenge of like oh come after me after you've done this like because who like sasuke was like a really young impressionable child and he probably would have still had a lot of hate for hitachi but it might have been more of like a like a why i think like a but then he gets told like he gets handed a goal i think that was the point i think that it was more like if hitachi didn't sell it 100 then sasuke would just be afraid and like [ __ ] up for the rest of his life and would not be a doer and would not be the kind of person to go out and and like avenge and be because have anything to be proud of like if he just like killed everyone and then left saucy be like i'm so alone i'm scared i'm not what what do i do now hitachi i'm alone but is that that much worse than having your entire life built on killing someone having your entire good question personality built purely on revenge that's a good question um what do you think i think it's like like i think sasuke would have had a pro i think it would have been better for him as a person to not have been handed that goal of getting revenge um and maybe he would have done something else maybe he would have done the same thing but maybe not and maybe if he hadn't been so hell-bent on revenge maybe he wouldn't have like then fallen back into it immediately like he got the revenge but then found out that it wasn't the revenge that he wanted so now what is there to do but redirect all of that that he's been building for his entire life onto the new thing and then like like i was saying after you get your revenge what like what is there there's nothing you might as well die at that point because you you know what what if you are only living for getting revenge on someone who wronged you how how you know what i mean what else do you have what what do you have that's good it just seems like it's very unsustainable you know i guess so i it's a i guess it's a matter of perspective but uh i don't know i don't know because there's yeah it's it's definitely hard to say it's definitely hard to say and we'll definitely think about those things as we move on into the story i think we're gonna end the binge session there i think that's a pretty good place to end
