My GAMMA Mod Set Up

all right so how you guys all doing so a lot of you guys have been asking me what my mod order is so in this video I'm going to break down my mod list and also what mods I've added to gamma one thing I do want to add before we start is that when I last updated my gamma boomsticks and sharp sticks also had an update and that in return broke gamma at the time so what I had to do was disable the boomsticks that came with the update I had to go download the old boomsticks and then installed it on mod organizer and then dragged it up here to keep it in the same load order this probably won't apply to you I think he's fixed this already but for me I can't play my saves without having it still enabled so just a heads up if you see this you don't need to have it just like me this is something I had to do to fix my game and I'm also on the newest update as of today because grok has been updating non-stop uh today is 10 9 22 and I am one thousand percent sure by the time this video comes out there will be a new update because these guys do not sleep all right there's a new update every hour okay let's dive into it is so I'm gonna go through here real slow all this stuff should be the same for you guys up top except for the boom sticks obviously um but all this stuff comes pre-installed into gamma so this should all be on for you guys as well it's the stuff at the lower areas that's where we gotta kind of talk about that so we're not there yet right here okay so um mags Redux so you see that I have this one disabled and this one installed so what happened here was a while back I'm not sure if it's still the same now but this was like two months ago there was an update that removed the ammo from the mags and I wanted that back now what I should have done was check the in-game mod menu to see if there was a toggle to turn it back on but what I ended up doing was disabling the mod that came with gamma reinstalling magri ducks on its own and then just replacing it in the mod order and that gave me back my ammo in the mags it may not be the same today so you may not have to do this but that's what I did to get my ammo back in the mags I also turned on Trader D Stocker fire so what this does is makes the Traders have less stuff I've had it off in my recent episodes just because we're at a point now it doesn't matter but I like having this on because it makes everything way more scarce and it makes items have way more meaning so I have that on I also turned off old ammo to new ammo converter I think this is on by default but I like having old ammo because it just adds that kind of factor of oh ammo tears your guns up and it makes new ammo way more meaningful so that's it for optional as we go down here I think in the good add-ons with issues so you got to be careful with these these will break your game but one thing I did turn on was quick companion teleport this is very useful during emissions and sidestorms because sometimes they'll get stuck and then get clapped by an emission so that's useful for your companions if you run them uh I didn't change anything in Warfare uh let's keep going down here so I'm gonna go a little slower here because some things down here I may have changed like right here so I disabled simple Autumn you textured no leaves because I'm running the summer 2 Autumn foliage mod we'll see that here in a minute down below let's keep going for right now so I'm gonna go slow here because there may be things that I turned on but I don't remember um but right here no trade with random stalkers I disabled that because I like that feature so this will allow you to trade with any stalker that wants to trade so there's that um let's keep going slow here make sure I don't miss anything so I'm looking as well so right here zcp now I'm not sure if this is on by default I'm gonna type this in real quick we'll come back here zcp zcp allows you to adjust the population in your game so you can kind of copy this down right here because I think this might be off by default I can't remember now it's been so long but there's that so let's get back to where we were okay so we're back where we were there's zcp so just keep an eye out so right here as well you got to make sure this is off this is gamma unjam reload on the same key you need to have this off for mags Redux to work so make sure that's off um I don't run the stutter mod right now but I think I may turn this on I don't get stutters very often but sometimes they're pretty bad but this is a feature you may want to turn on if you are having problems with the game stuttering let's open this up too so just kind of look at this as well I'm gonna you know you can pause it check it out because there are things that I may have on that do not remember so I'm sorry about that um so yeah check this out too so down here is we're gonna start getting some more stuff so right here so this is gonna need some explanation so I'm running the 2D Scopes 32-9 because the other ones for some reason had like a gap this one doesn't um so that is something he added later on I believe uh I got the UMP reanimation um I got the improved Russian translation I'm not sure if you still need this on or not I know he's been kind of messing with this a little bit um this is new so the gamma light source spawner this is a new mod our new thingies added into the Mod update lately so this is really cool so enable that this is a ash 12 that I added so that'll be down below for you guys very sick Ash 12. um this was the old Flora mod I had I disabled that and now I'm running uh the summer to Autumn texture pack let's go back up here so this is the Chris Vector so broadcast added this in the announcement page so you can go get that there so going down further also have enabled the part type fixer I also have enabled the Shader Corner Shadow fix and I also have enabled the shaders cumulative pack I cannot say that word very good um so I believe this actually makes your game look super good with the shadows and then I also have the summer to Autumn texture pack now I did forget one mod I just somehow didn't see it but it's the fdda mod so this is a animation mod that allows you to bring up the backpack I believe it also is the animation when you loot mutants and stuff like that so you might want to turn it on I didn't turn on the fdda rework I've never tried this out I'm not sure what it does but you might want to try it for yourself I think that's pretty much it for mod organizer but for right now I'm gonna head into the game and show you the in-game mod settings too okay let's head into the mod config menu here so if you're a newer gamma player you might want to come here to the MCM keybinds this will show you all the stuff that you have keybinds for it'll give you an idea what you have installed and what you can kind of mess with someone asked me about the ammo Checker so right you can see ammo check Kia has Mouse five uh it's also right here too as well I have it as Mouse 5 double tap and I can also use the same key as something else too so double tap is very helpful you also do with the long press shift key ALT key so we can use it for other stuff as well but um back up here to the keybinds uh yeah definitely recommend checking this stuff out you also can check out your conflicts too so some things have like the same key as other mods or other things in the game so this is very helpful um I won't get into everything because I don't know what everything does exactly but against the stuff that I've messed with and changed so um first things first fdda so you want to come in here when you first install it and you want to make sure it's enabled and then you want to enable the backpack animation I don't enable the Crouch animation it's kind of annoying but I do enable the mutant loot animation and item pickup animation so there's that fdda for you guys very awesome mod uh faction identification so what I do is I add a delay by distance and also I increase the time so that way I can't just instantly know who is there so it kind of makes it more immersive and also I'm not like just like I know who everybody is immediately so there's that uh free Zoom so someone asked me about free Zoom a while back uh this allows you to kind of like zoom in by any button you want to set it to so I have mine set to the right click so I can zoom in while I'm aiming down with red dots and also zoom in while I'm just walking around with my gun down so there's that magazine mod so you don't have to change anything if you don't want to but it is cool to come here and kind of adjust stuff uh I also always turn off the magazine HUD do not want that on no offense just I like having no HUD uh so that's off uh this thing you can kind of come here and check this stuff out too and then here's Trader dstalker fire so right now I have it off but you can come here and kind of mess with this I do usually have this on we're just so far into our playthrough it doesn't really matter at this point um but yeah I do like having this on it makes the game way more just intense sometimes so cool mod there and then zcp so coming from efp to gamma the population is very lackluster to the point where it makes gamma easier than efp just because there's less people to fight so right now I have mine set to 2.85 with the stalkers and then Newtons are 1.8 uh this made the game way more fun and it just makes the Zone way more lively and you get some really cool fights and as a guy that played a bunch of efp this was a must-have mod and I'm so glad he included it um also too I didn't even notice this so there's anomalies there's loot I didn't even see this oh wow this is new mutants so this is cool so you can come here and really mess with this this is really cool I didn't even see this until right now so that's cool that's really cool you can mess with the population and adjust what comes at you and oh this is definitely cool yeah check this out um one quick thing I'm gonna get into was that stealth so right here so this I think is the default settings for gamma if you go over here and set it to default it will change the value so I've noticed with this value the AI is way more aware and way more aggressive so I actually put it to default they can see better at night a little too good but other than that I really like this default setting because the AI was kind of like dumb like I would shoot their friend and they were like oh he's dead let me go loot his body like no go figure out who killed him and then loot him or I would I would shoot somebody he just like wouldn't care so when I changed this it definitely seemed to make them more smarter and coherent and not as stupid when it comes to them getting shot or their friends getting shot so definitely recommend maybe adjusting this because it's a little bit too stealthy sometimes um but that's about it I recommend if you're new going through all this checking this all out man it is stalker already is amazing when it comes to getting your game how you want it but gamma has taken it to a whole different level man it is so awesome to come here and get the game exactly how you want it like you can make it gritty and you know just items are hard to come by you can make it flourish with items everywhere and people are geared every you know you can make it wherever you want man so I recommend you come here check this out and here's my in-game settings as well you guys can go ahead and check this out running at 1440p uh DirectX
