My ELECTRIC CAR is EVen more WORTHLESS & I CAN'T GET INSURED now the BAN on Petrol & Diesel is 2035!

and save people from wasting money on an electric car now if you've watched my previous videos you will have seen that I lost an awful lot of money on this electric car uh I'll put the link to that video in the description down below and also I'll link it to the end of the video as well now since uh little uh rishy has uh pushed back the ban of sale of diesel and petrol vehicles to 2035 it's actually devalued my car even more and also I can't get insurance on it now either well I can but it cost me an absolute Fortune I put these figures together and I'm going to explain them to you on my journey on the way up to the Lake District and I'm going to take you guys with me as I say do hit the Subscribe button it doesn't cost you a penny it is down below we're going to go through all the figures Etc uh and tell you exactly the experience that I've had with this electric car now without further Ado my friends let's [Music] go [Music] right okay so we're on our way we're going to go to the late District I'm going to take you guys with us uh I'm also going to let you know as I say um what I've lost now on this car thanks to little rishy uh pushing back the um the ban on the sale of diesel and petrol cars to 2035 now um oh we haven't any bets on whether when it gets a little closer to that date that he'll put it back again any bets anybody anybody wish to anybody anybody daring to bet anybody want to place a bet on that because we know it'll get pushed back again I reckon so anyway uh in my opinion and I always say that because anything in this video my opinions and my experiences based on owning electric owning an electric vehicle and EV for the last two years there are other opinions out there and other channels that will give you their um verdict on electric cars Etc however do be careful because some of them are sponsored by electric car companies uh I'm not sponsored I paid for this car I pay for it on a monthly basis I'm not sponsored At All by an electric car company as you probably know if you've seen my videos um now I'm just going to go through quickly uh very quickly um because we're going to be charging up on the way up to the Lake District I've got 94% um of battery 233 miles of rain range left uh it's about 130 M roughly uh to the Lake District I'm going to need to charge I think it's probably more actually but I'm going to need to charge along the way anyway because I need to then get back down to leads um so I'm going to be doing that and I'll tell you exactly how much it's cost me to charge the car before all the evangelists start by the way saying well you should have started with 100% should have planned your journey I didn't have time to charge it again cuz I went out this morning to get my my haircut into knotting him come back and I did put as much charge as I can in the car I stuck another half an hour in it so um you're going to get the Evangelist saying well you should have had your haircut on a different day then you planned that wrong didn't you um it doesn't work like that does it so uh anyway um what I will do is as I say go through exactly how much um I've now lost on this car cuz I've had it revalued since little rishy has pushed that uh deadline back and also um I've uh got to reinsure this car and I rang up my insurance company who um have dramatically increased my insurance uh this year it's insane you will not believe the the amount the difference now to ensure my car from this year to last and we'll go through that it's absolutely insane rank some other insurance companies by the way one of which will not ensure electric cars so come on [Music] onwards you know what's really interesting is there's another Channel that's um I'm not going to mention them but one of the guys you'll know who I mean if you watch electric car videos and electric car channels one of the guys uh was off of the Old Top Gear from years ago uh and they now have their own channel and they were sat there at a desk very official in suits and everything and they'd got an audience there uh that they were asking questions and the I was mentioned sort of roundabouts uh in this video because somebody said oh did you see that there was a guy there was a question there was a guy who' got a Porche tyan and he went from John and gr to lend and it took him so many days Etc and the answer to that was ah well there's are lots of channels now that do it for clicks Etc now I can tell you straight off the bat I'm going to turn this air conditioning down by the way which 230 Mi by the way has now gone up to 251 because my air conditioning takes power um they said oh they do it for clicks Etc now they obviously do theirs for clicks and it does make me wonder if there is some ulterior motive because they whacks lyrical about electric cars there is no negatives on the channel about electric cars at all now I can tell you I can do things for clicks on this channel that are a lot more interesting to me and course getting warm in here now they're a lot more interesting to me um than driving up and down the M1 telling you how Naf electric cars are I'm trying to get the message out there I could jump on an airplane and film that it go to Sunny clim instead of the UK which is cloudy here by the way although I did get a a news story come through on my phone yesterday I'm going off on a tangent here and it said oh hottest um summer on record in the UK UK set to bake Etc in blistering heat where are they what window are they looking out of because it's been the grayest summer that I've ever known in the UK it's odd isn't it that the mainstream media push all this nonsense out anyway same with electric cars I'm going to have to switch this back on in a minute because although it is cloudy it is warm um anyway so what I'm saying is a lot of these channels they're so so Pro and it does make you wonder if there's some ulterior motive behind it are they being sponsored by EV companies um it does make you wonder what I will say is by the way if you look back at my past videos I have said in them videos that 2030 will not happen and it will get pushed back and I said that in quite a few of my videos if you look back and I will say it again now as I say it's only my opinion but 2035 will not happen they will not ban petrol and diesel cars they will push it back again and again and again and again and it'll keep happening because they'll try and get you into electric cars and I'm trying to wake people up so please do share this video and do give it a thumbs up and do subscribe to the channel because what they are trying to do is restrict in my opinion I'm I'm protecting myself here because you have to be careful what that I believe and I think what they're trying to do is restrict freedom of movement you've seen it with the ules cameras in London and what's kicking off there don't want to say too much about that um but it's all about about freedom of movement and control and it's the same with electric cars you saw on the news there very it was on the news but it wasn't pushed as a big story if you notice where the guy who was in an mg I believe an electric car and it wouldn't break it wouldn't stop they had to crash into the back of a police car to stop him this is absolute nonsense and I don't understand why now you're going to in the comment section I can help you here right okay you're going to say why don't you get rid of it if you're a regular viewer of the channel you will know I'm in massive negative equity with this car more so now thanks to little rishy um because he's devalued it even more because obviously they've put that the the ban on the sale of petrol and diesel cars back it's now devalued electric cars even more so also I do feel a little bit for the car manufacturers because they don't know where they stand do they they've been told to now manufacture electric cars that they they they've had no choice basically now it's been put back they're like well what's going on here it's absolute Madness and honestly I've lost even more money on this car now and if you are thinking about an electric car I will advise you do not buy an electric car it will be in my opinion the the worst move that you've ever made you might as well take 20 notes and put them in the shredder by the way is a little bit of information you'll find this interesting the opening of this video I was going to start with me shredding uh 20 notes but obviously not real ones I was just going to scan it and print it out and put specimen over it whatever and then stick him in the uh Shredder however uh going off of the tangent again scanners and printers and photocopiers will not allow you to scan or photocopy uh any currency because it's got some kind of dot pattern in it that stops you from photocopying currency and scanning currency Etc so there you go little bit of information for you you can't scan it it won't you can scan it but it will not print it your printer will not print any currency says it doesn't recognize it there you go bet you didn't know that if you did pop it in the comment section down below I think it's called EUR Euro something or I can't remember what it's called the pattern pop it in the comments section Anyway come on onwards I shall let you know we're going to pull over at the services I'm going to go through all the figures Etc um we're going to charge the car up at some point we're going to go through all the figures uh now of what I've actually lost on this car um which which will bring a tear to your eye and also um insurance I go through the insurance basically on what my uh insurance is is now to ensure this vehicle for the year which has more than doubled it's insane it's like the insurance companies do not want to insure electric cars and if you look at the news and you see all the fires that's happened with the electric cars and I got locked in my electric car the other day which a lot of evangelists said oh it's clickbait blah blah blah it's clickbait it wasn't you can double pull on the on the handle I double pulled on the handle uh to try and override the electric and I've actually um took a chip out of the plastic cuz I was yanking that hard it didn't work um it's supposed to be an override where it manually pulls it but it didn't work um so there we go there's always an answer from your evangelists makes you wonder whether those evangelists are actually real doesn't it or just automated uh answers anyway that's controversial we won't go there come on onwards [Music] you know I like to think about things logically thanks for sticking with me by the way if you're watching my rants here but um I'm just trying to think logically and get the message out there most of the cost in this car is the batteries there's huge amounts of batteries on that I'm Sat On by the way which does make you wonder whether there's anything to do with radiation there as well from batteries I don't know pop that in the comment section down below but the weight of these batteries are immense this car is really really heavy and it's because of the batteries so thinking about it you charge the batteries up right so you're using energy to charge the batteries up to actually and make most of the energy is used on driving and carrying the batteries so doesn't really work out does it I'm just I'm just trying to think logically here so you're using the batteries and you charging them up but then batteries and the energy in the batteries are the energy in the battery is used to transport the batteries which are insanely heavy so it doesn't make make any logical sense does it just trying to think logically that's all it's uh it doesn't make any logical sense but then again electric cars don't make any sense but we seem to be brainwashed uh into uh the fact that we need to have electric cars and it's the future that's what we're being told and I've said time and time again if you look at um little rishy uh and the guy used the May Mr May um well they're not driving electric cars they're still driving around in gas guzzling bling SUVs Etc but we're expected to drive around in electric cars you minions get yourself an electric car you must have an electric car it's the future and you can't drive there you can't drive here unless you have an electric car but we're going to drive in our big Range Rovers our V8 Range Rovers I mean wake up think about it I mean it's only a matter of time before you know I probably get told to uh stop talking badly about electric cars but as I say it's only my opinion but I have a good opinion because I've owned it for two years and I can't get rid of it because I'm stuck with it because I was sold into the dream of electric cars I mean I've been honest I love how they drive but you know in reality they're just a silly idea aren't they a stupid idea anyway let's go on the M1 onwards in fact do you know what my haircut makes more sense than electric cars how's that I mean come on my haircut makes more sense than electric [Music] cars [Music] here's one for you so um a lot of the uh EV channels and evangelist channels and pro EV YouTube channels we'll always say ah yeah but the uh the majority of of people who have electric cars charge their cars at home at night I can tell you from firsthand experience right that the public charges that I've been to have always been insanely busy right you can't get on to them you have to end up waiting around so not only do you end up wasting an hour having a cup of coffee waiting for your car to charge you also wait around in your car standing in line or sat in line to use the Chargers because they're all being used in fact I'm just going past the services here yep both in use so you end up having to wait around for people to finish charging their car I don't know why I pulled into that left on L because Lor's are coming out um so you end up having to wait around now I've seen people get I rate you'll like bit I don't know whether you've seen this in the news people actually having fights and arguments because they were saying that they were there first Etc and some Services now this is comical have actually and I've read this you can validate it for me if you want in the comments section down below I've had to employ wardens they've had to employ wardens at the electric charging points to stop arguments and fights breaking out this is how insane it is but yet we're still told that we must buy electric cars they are the future you must get you must get yourself an electric car otherwise you can't come into the center of London Etc or you can't go into Birmingham because of the low emission zones but we'll still drive our massive great gas guzzling SUVs uh but but you minions drive around in a battery operated car to make makes no sense does it well it does to me I I Can See Clearly what's happening here can [Music] [Music] you oh by the way is anybody from Wales who's watching how are you uh managing with your 20 mph speed limit uh let me know in the comment section down below I'm going to try and do a a Wales trip from North to South Wales in my electric car driving at your 20 mph speed limit and you see again restriction of movement in my opinion uh electric car cars 20 mph speed limits which by the way remember I've said this okay remember this it starts in Wales but it will come to England and Scotland as well it will come to England and Scotland we will have 20 mph speed limits coming to England and Scotland it won't be just Wales mark my words because it's another way of stopping you from traveling freedom of movement that's what it is mark my words I'm going to be doing that anyway also by the way I'm going to be doing uh quite excited about this one um my mate Jeff buys cars if you've not subscribed to his channel by the way head over and subscribe to his channel as well I'll pop his um channel in the description down below we're going to be driving from JN a gr to Len now I've done this myself in this electric car however bit of a bit of a challenge a little bit like Top Gear he's going to be driving his Volvo estate from johnah Gro to L end and I'm going to be driving this car and we're going to have way points along the way so that's going to be interesting that's coming uh pretty soon in the next few weeks um we're going to be able to we're going to be sleeping in the car as well for one night uh but we're going to get we're going to have a little uh meet in a little chat on camera and we'll let you know what the rules are Etc uh with it and we're going to see basically how much it costs to get an electric car uh and from johnr to L's end compared to a diesel I can say I've said to him actually I said Jeff we need to do it as quickly as possible because before winter sets in because this car as soon as winter sets in will lose 80 mil of its range because of the cold weather that's how Daft it is isn't it basically I'll get about 210 miles out of a out of a charge rather than like you know 280 or whatever I lose a lot of range in the winter time it doesn't make any sense does it we all know we all know how bad batteries are right because you get your remote control on your TV don't know whether this has happened or is this just me right you pick the remote control up it won't work you have to bang it and then it works that's how bad batteries [Music] are [Music] has anyone uh read the book 1984 by George Orwell or seen the movie if not pick up a book and read it or or try and get the movie from somewhere and have a look at it you know it's it's actually becoming real isn't it I actually think I'm on a crusade now to try and wake people up to the reality of what is happening here oh this Lane goes to Manchester don't want to go to Manchester um you know it it's just Madness trying to just look I've got an electric car wake up wake up it's not the future it's a DFT idea you know we will prevail we shall [Music] profil anyway um what I'm going to do is I'm going to stop off at the services probably I'm not going to charge at the first Services because um I'm going to charge at Porsche South Lakeland up at the Lake District reason being before all the evangelists have a go me because it is a fast charger I can charge there in ridiculous speeds if the charges are available because they're pretty popular and I've been there before and I've actually got got annoyed and angry because I've been there uh and there's been a ionic or whatever it is them ugly cars that look oh I mean good grief oh Sam Smith in tight Leathers more attractive than that car um that's just oh it's terrible but there was one charging and I was getting annoyed cuz I'm thinking you're on a Porsche charger get out I was giving him the I was giving him the evils I was like get out of the charger you're not a Porsche and that's how it makes you feel but we're going to probably charge up there I can get a free coffee there as well uh and a little snacket courtesy of Porsche um so um I'll probably do that but I need to stop off at the services first for the little boy room and we can check out whether the charges are being used there and have a look at that and also I can let you know um some oops it's coming off the back of there some costs as well on my insurance I'm going to go through the insurance first and then I'll go through what I've actually lost now on this car thanks to little rishy Anyway come on [Music] onwards now maybe uh some of you out there who's contemplating getting an electric car because you think ah it's kind of to the environment so like little fluffy Ducks Etc and uh white little doves flying around Etc it's beautiful electric cars it's great for the environment well is it really because you still have to mine the minerals and dig up the Earth uh well little children have to do that anyway don't they to dig up the minerals allegedly it's little children uh that they get to dig the minerals for your batteries in your electric car um check that out have a look online do a little Google search on it and uh verify that for me and clarify it um because obviously we've got the climate change sorry climate crisis now it's a crisis uh and you've got all the politicians who are getting together at their Summits to see what they can do about the climate crisis I know we'll get in some airplanes we'll all get in airplanes and we'll fly to a summit to um to talk about what we can do to save the environment and help the environment well how about use zoom or Skype instead and don't fly to a summit um as that's not helping the environment is it just my way of logical thinking I don't know maybe I'm wrong Maybe I'm [Music] Wrong [Music] right so another little bit of inside information for you so um as you know if you've watched the channel I know a driving instructor and he messaged me the other day we'll call him Dave uh because he doesn't want to use his real name and he's on some driving instructor forums Facebook forums and there's a guy on there he say I can tell you this but only driving instructors can get on these forums Etc one of the driving instructors on there has found it difficult cuz he's a driving instructor with an electric car and he's found it really really difficult well virtually impossible to try and get insurance on his EV as a driving instructor now I'll find out off of Dave when I'll speak to him next on a future video whether he's actually managed to get in insurance for his EV now I've experienced reinsuring this car um and I've had a quote for it it's not quite up yet but I've had a quote for it and it is it it will bring a tear to your eye believe me um how much it is and as I say I can't mention which company it was because there'll be legal ramifications for that um but I rang one insurance company and they said they are no longer ER ensuring electric vehicles and I asked why but they wouldn't give me uh they wouldn't give me a reason strange what do you think the reason is well I mean it's just daed why not Ure an electric car it's not as if they're going to catch fire or you know uh anything like that or run away on their own and have to have a police vehicle stop them so you can crash into the back of it I mean why why on Earth not [Music] [Music] [Music] oh right so there's an accident on the m62 let's hope it's not an electric car because if it is um then it's probably going to be on fire for the next 4 days or whatever um uh hopefully nobody's hurt um but cing it's about 15 to 20 minute uh delay and I need a Wei I didn't we myself in an electric go I'll end up my hair will be like one of them when at school you used to have one of them things that you what the Co used to put your hands on them and your hair used to stand up on end be like that if I have a we in an electric car would't it if I got short in an electric car I'd be the one shorting [Music] out oh dear well it's going to be we've got another 81 miles to go uh it's I've got 178 miles of range so I shall just charge it when I'm up there so I can get back to leads uh 72% of battery left it's doing not bad to be fair um if I charge at home I've said it before it is cheaper if you do charge at home for now because I reckon somewhere in the future if everybody does have electric cars um which is doubtful because a lot of people can't afford an electric car I know this is a bit of an excessive electric car but even your you know normal electric cars like a a Nissan or or a what's the other ones the ugly ones I IC um you know they're extortionate it's just outrageous people aren't going to be able to afford them my daughter's looking for a new car at the moment uh Caitlyn and um I said are you uh going to go for electric G for one of them can't afford electric having a laugh um so she can't you see cuz they're just outrageously priced and um as I say if you get in an accident with them it's I don't think you should be going through on the hard like that um it's um going to cost what was it 40,000 was it for Batteries to be replaced on this car I hope I've I hope I can afford to change it before then because I haven't got 40 Grand to put new batteries in [Music] it [Music] right this does not look good uh we've had about an hour's delay now it's put an hour onto our time though won't be getting the free coffee at Porsche however hoping that nobody's hurt there's an ambulance there uh as well and police car uh it says major accident here on my ways there um so let's just hope hope nobody's uh hope nobody's hurt I tell you what though I do need the little boys room now so we'll get past this accident and then um hopefully we'll be on our way I don't know how long it's going to take there it's saying about another half an hour in traffic this is absolute Madness isn't it good grief it's telling me to reroot or reroute if you're in the States but um I I never want to do that it never works out if you rroo some other people do that as well don't they and then you end up you'd be better off just staying on the road that you're on so I think we're just going to stay on the road that we're on yeah it's trying to re-root me into the services actually and then go through the services and cut off some of the road which I think that's a bit naughty anyway but it says that that's really busy as well you can imagine the services now are going to be absolutely packed and if there's any electric cars I guarantee you they'll be in there charging up having a cup of coffee and there'll probably be a crap or whatever I was here first luckily I'm all right 174 M of range so uh I need that I need the little boys room though I need the L or as my little lad says I need a we I need a [Laughter] we blw me neck now I know how the people of Wales feel it's crawling [Music] along right well we're back moving again now I sinly hope that whoever was in that accident is okay cuz I turned my head um and they cut the top of the car off there so and the fire of them were trying to get out so I think they're all right right so um going to head to the services and then we'll go through um the insurance uh what what my insurance is now uh so right anyway throwing me a bit so crack [Music] on blim me I got to tell you we're on the um UK's highest Motorway at the moment by the way the m62 it's the highest Motorway in the UK just past there was Grim up here as well every time I come over this bit of Motorway it's gray cloudy and raining then you get to the other side and it's fine um just passed a car there an electric car never heard of this one before called Genesis now first of all what kind of a name is that for an electric car Genesis doesn't that mean origin or something like birth origin because if that was like the birth it would be it would be a Cabbage Patch dollar remember that it was good grief what of the that actually now overtakes the ugliness in in the charts of the ionic ionic I'm moving to number two that Genesis number one what a pig ugly car that is I mean electric cars the tyam is a nice looking car the Audi is okay the other electric cars I I just say the designers need to go to Specsavers they really [Music] do right I'm just going to pull into the services here um then I'll let you know what my insurance is we'll go through my insurance costs uh and how much that's gone up uh but before that though I'm I'm going for a Wii um otherwise it ain't going to be pleasant um so I'm going to do that then we'll go through the prices we'll also have a look see if any of the uh charges are available it looks actually like there's W oh what was that there's like a bang on the car that's happened before you know this car goes bang like somebody's hit you at the back but obviously they haven't look at the Chargers I think the Chargers are actually uh all being used right I'm going to par my car right I don't know how much of that last clip I got because my battery ran out on my GoPro in the car can you believe it battery running out right here we go we've actually got some charges of available so there we go whether they working or not though is a different matter are they working charging complet yeah they're working so charges are uh are some available that makes a nice change right little boy's room get a little bite to eat and then we'll go back and I'll let you know how much my insurance has gone up come on [Music] onwards [Music] oh [Music] cost of coffee right okay anyway bagette was nice have to say though uh price was very hard to swallow bagette was nice but hard to swallow price service stations I thought Gregs was all supposed to be cheap but obviously service stations more expensive anyway right let's go through costs shall we uh so Insurance last year for my takan uh was 686 uh and 84 um now this year believe it or not here we go I was quoted 3,100 42 by the same insurance company and I'm not going to mention the insurance company obviously for legal reasons but £3 3,142 to reinsure it with the same insurance company I asked why they didn't they didn't give an answer to be honest um so fair enough I don't suppose they have to um the lady was very nice though she did get it down a bit by about 60 or 70 um and I thought well okay well I'll come back back to you I did ring another insurance company whose name uh I shall not say but they aren't insuring electric cars at all um and the um the gentleman on the phone said uh well he didn't say why I said why not he just said oh we we just we've taken the decision not to ensure electric cars um it has been in the news by the way so you'll be able to read that uh this certain company um so I'm still um I'm still looking around for an insurance quotation um but you know I'll probably find a cheaper one I mean it's absolutely insane why are the why has Insurance gone up on an electric car why has it gone up what's changed from last year I've had it two years and it it went up last year and it went up I think bu about 440 or something and I thought that's fair enough I'll go for that but going up from 600 OD to £ 3,142 that's mental Anyway come on onwards my [Music] friends right uh you couldn't actually write this now because my dashboard um I can't show you it has gone off the speedo is on so I'm all right but the rest of it has disappeared my way is on um but everything on my Dash there just gone very strange very odd uh technology for you electric cars I've had it before where and it will clear itself you'll basically have to just restart the car again like a mobile phone if something goes wrong with it and then it'll come on again uh which is uh it's brilliant isn't it electric cars by the way um I don't know whether you managed to see it on camera but there um there is a a memorial for a police officer at Birch Services it says he fell what was what was that would you pop it for me in the comment section down below um it look looks like something really sad happened there with the police officer let me know in the comments section down below that Birch services I don't recall anything under the news um anyway let's get on the road let's get to Porsche charge it up uh CU I've got to be up at the Lake District for 7 to meet somebody um and then oh no traffic jam again oh come on oh ah onwards if we can [Music] right so we need the m61 Preston I'm I'm giggling because um if you're from the UK you may you what it does make you wonder why the reason they want us off of the roads is because it just can't handle it anymore is it just is it just Great Britain the United Kingdom where the roads are like this where they just manic I know New York City where I used to live over the water from um it is crazy but is the rest of the world like this is Australia like this you know is Middle America like this is Thailand like this let me know in the comments section where you are from and let me know whether your roads and your road network is this it's just packed it's just gridlocked all the time it I mean it's just it's got It's got worse over the last two or three years I never I used to drive up to the Lake District all the time with with my M and Dad and I'd be in the back of the car hardly ever get any traffic jams unless there was an accident and nowadays there's you're stuck in traffic more than you're moving but is it just the UK or is it the rest of the world let me know where taken ages to get up here blim me unbelievable well I've got 45% of battery 9 miles of range um it's now 3 minutes past 5 and we've just been moving like this for ages honestly um I'd love to know if your country is the same as this because this is just this is just mental it's just you might I I could probably bike it faster on an electric bike on the hard shot if I could it's nuts crazy the big question is though does an electric car take less energy than a petrol or a diesel car when it's in a traffic jam because you're not really using the motors on an electric car but on a petrol and a journey it's been Mayhem bedum on the roads bedum um right so we're going to charge up here I'm going to tell you how much basically it's cost me to charge we're at 35% 81 mil of range uh it's now 5:42 in the afternoon uh you would be uh forgiven for thinking it's later because of how dark it is but it's just bad weather um so I'm going to charge up here and then I'm going to tell you exactly what my car's worth now as well um or what it's not worth and how much money I've lost on it thanks to little rishy hopefully no please nobody be on these charges please nobody be on these charges I just want to go in charge and then ah they're available get Ino here we go right let's get charged up right okay so uh by the way please note I'm going to get wet through now I know we're going to get the Evangelist saying we'll get an umbrella then well I've got an umbrella but it's difficult to do that open the flap tap your card get the thing it's just a nightmare so I'm better off just getting wet and then getting back in the car CU there's no canopies like there is on a petrol station which is just strange isn't it because although I guess water and electricity they they obviously go well together don't they anyway no they don't by the way don't try that at home come on onwards right plug this in get in there there we go okay initiating charging come on come on sorry about the wind noise it's windy put you there go blim me preparing please wait sometime evangelists will say why don't you get back in the car but sometimes it errors so I just need to make sure first oh there's a nice 911 over there a petrol 911 charging in progress 35% uh we getting to 200 KW charging power 749 volts 259 amps there we go let's have a quick look at that 911 I'll get wet for that come on look at that a proper Porsche oh blim me it is wet out there oh that was a nice 911 I've got to tell you um right okay so let's go through some figures um on my Porsche tyan now let me turn this air conditioning off there we go I'm satting the car while it's charging which makes me a little nervous I have to say uh put the battery on there this charges really quickly look 44% 118 miles this is how quickly the post charges charge so 118 Mi 119 mil it it goes really quickly right okay so let's go through so in the last video that I did where I explained what I lost on the car um the cost of the car was £120,000 that's with all the accessories on it with all the extra screens and everything that I've done um two months ago I owed on the car £ 8,476 and I was offered $60,000 from Porsche in part exchange um and then two months ago making a strange noise uh two months ago we buy any car offered me uh 53,25628 we buy any car offered me 51,5 which leaves me 27,000 in negative equity oh jeez oh my God I wasn't ready for this and it's 68 app I think I'm doing the mass right here correct me if I'm wrong £68,000 I don't know why I'm laughing 68,000 depreciation in two years I wasn't ready now every other Porsche that I've owned has never lost that much in fact the gas guzzling uh porser Manan turbo I actually made money on when I sold it back to them uh which is the I think the second car I've ever made any money on uh which is strange so there you go um so um electric cars to sum it up don't go anywhere yet because I'll tell you how much this has cost me to charge it's extremely fast I'm at 50% already and 134 miles um so every other car that I've owned um has never lost that much money so do not buy an electric car um because in my experience with electric cars they've been an absolute nightmare uh so there you go right I'm just going to have five minutes rest and then uh check on uh I need enough charge to get me back to leads and I'll let you know basically how much it's cost me so don't go anywhere I don't know whether you can hear this I'm setting the car and it's vibrating I can literally feel it vibrating through the seat of my pants listen right I'm I'm getting out of the car now we're at 235 miles 87% uh and it's 6:41 so I'm going to unplug this and let you know how much it is and then we'll finish the video off let's get out there in the rain energy delivered 45.4 kilow charging time 24 minutes and 5 Seconds and state of charge 87% let's get back to in the car uh and I'll let you know how much it cost right okay I don't know whether you can see me it's getting dark in here um so 2463 uh 45.4 kilow kwh uh started at 546 finished at 10 6 um so there we go £463 so work that one out is it any cheaper than uh than a petrol or
