my boss wants to retire in 2 to 3 years and there's another Carpenter and myself and we're planning to take over the company we're originally talking about doing a 50-50 partnership but we're seeing the pitfalls in that I was just looking for advice on how we can set up some sort of partnership avoid the difficulties then also within that figure out just compensation for the two of us if one of us is the actual owner and the other's highly paid employee okay that's what I have yeah I'm the owner and we have operating board members that are all paid off of the bottom line and that's their entire income and they get paid very very well
