I’ll go back and listen to them but I hate when I have to listen to an album with “certain ears”. For example Dua Lipa’s album is really good and most of my friends are hardcore rap and r&b fans but when I told them to listen to her album I told them hey listen to this with pop ears because if you listen with the expectation of r&b or rap standards you’ll be disappointed. I feel like that’s what I’ve had to do with Ushers latest releases. He’s a legend and I don’t think he has to adopt today’s sound to stay relevant.
