MY BEST BEAT EVER!?! MAKING THE HARDEST TRAP BEAT IN FL STUDIO!

what's up welcome back to the channel my name is simon serbia let's make a beat so my capital of Jumpgate 3 is finally done and it's now available on my website so let me show you around and that will make a beat with it so we got the 808 here some nice long AO 8's for sliding but also some really colorful short 808 because I'm a big fan of those now for claps just a really wide variety for a low fly to something like trap something like that for the cymbals is a mixture of live ones as well as trapping ones like this and then some weird ones like that a lot of these are really good for low five the classic drum fills a various array of per groups of clap loops I had loops you know weird stuff whatever this is once again my favourite section the stemmed out John Lewis and these are just haters let's go through some of these what is this one I don't remember [Music] yeah no no five boy I think I did a drill one here somewhere I think is this one there's a couple different genres in here so make sure you guys dig into that the effects just the usual stuff crashes risers sirens ambiences a lot of weird lo-fi kicks but also some really clean trappy ones yeah for the percussion this is a huge array of sounds yeah if you guys are creative this is perfect for you rim shots are super popular so I spend a lot of time on these so for the snare so this is probably thing I put the most hours into and I think you should be able to cover every genre with this one boom bap stuff like that both I stuff like that nice punchy sounds like that weird ones like this couple crispy boys someone chopped tone so like bases like this then this is a various array of sounds you can use as instruments and then a couple bucks thank you so much for watching the video hope you enjoy oh wait the samples this all my best samples did like a little Shiloh dynasty one here you know gotta have the one jazzy piano one in there there's only good vibe classic trap one this one too you might recognize this one it allows pretty much the whole kit so let's get into some beat making I want to make a really nice standalone instrumental something I can put up on streaming platforms so let's really put some hours into this one I'm thinking like an EDM trap thing something I'd hear at a party or a club so how it worked nowadays is if I want my melody be good I'll do the melody first but if I want the drums to be good that'll do drums first so today I'm doing jump first let's get the girthy boy nothing too distorted but nice and fat simple rhythm first [Music] so what I'm hearing in my head is one drop where it's super minimal so it'd just be 808 kick and snare and then a really dirty lead and then the second drop is going to be a bit crazier let's try and make a lead of our own [Music] with the G yes [Music] kinda wanna do like and then just the way it drops it's probably gonna be like pause boom back that might be cool get that layer that right under this snare but then with a lot of reverb perk loops this one might work I don't want to try both - let's make this one unique jump jump jump jump let's stretch this one out I'm hearing like ah ja ja like this let's try that oh hey hey oh you know just kind of like a mini crash and we'll put that there [Music] yeah that's nice this is nice there's still tons and tons of stuff you have to do but I'm getting the feel and the energy of it just don't wanna do like more percussion like oh my gosh then Jin Jin Jin Jin Chen Chen [Music] I wonder what happens if I just flop one of these on here so I do that and then I do that okay yeah let's throw all of these on three goes wonder what this will do I'm just we're just experimenting right now I think we got the lead down so this is what we had before so what I did first was just bring it down an octave because during that high octave section it's a bit too high and this still sounds fine then I put an EQ on it and I just put an envelope on the gain and the cue to listen to it now so now it's a bit sharper [Music] trying to figure out some chords [Laughter] [Music] like and effie I can definitely work and there's just still so much I have to do though ah we should have a lead on it like some kind of melody or the melody is this but kind of Morris happy sounding that does work that does indeed work [Music] so let's bit a day and I've given it some thought but we're gonna make a couple changes first thing this section right here that's getting deleted I don't think it's very necessary instead what we're gonna do is you know bring this ambient section in and we're gonna just do like an ABAP format for the second drop I definitely want a difference between the first drop so maybe we can think about that now I'm thinking keeping the first half okay I'm hearing this this down an octave kind of alternate between them I'm thinking that 808 follows it or is that weird we won't know until we try that might be cool that's kind of that's kind of crazy I think the effect tricks during that section is gonna be is gonna have to play a big part chop them I can't just have everybody going crazy on the triplets at the end probably I want to be like an exhale right on the snare oh that is kind of nice should we make some bootleg exhale chops just really quickly what am I doing with these what does exhale do to make it sound cool if I sing it in key it sounds too much like my voice so maybe I just sing random as hell and then just put it in the correct key whichever how many semitones that may be so let's do two more stretch a little bit [Music] okay that took a while but I think we're done [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you so much for watching the video hope you enjoyed it the full instrumental is gonna be available on all streaming platforms so if you guys want to go listen to it it's gonna be in the description my capital drum kit free is now available on my website super dope drums super dope samples all made by me so if you guys want to get that it's going to be in the description as well and yeah that's pretty much it so I'll see you guys soon if you have any suggestions leave a comment if you like this video leave a like if you really like this video subscribe if you didn't like this video leave just leave get out of here
