hey everyone welcome to today's video today I'm going to be sharing with you all the treatments that I get so I can have a low maintenance day to day these are the things over the years that I've found that work really well for me which make my makeup routine quicker my morning routine quicker all of these things I do to make my daily life easier so I thought I would share art first is something that I get asked about all the time and it's laser hair removal I have done a whole blog post on it I'll link it down below to go way more into depth but I've been having loads of hair removal for a few years now and it's something that I really really wish I'd started way younger as a teenager I was always super aware of my body hair it's something that it wasn't that I was ashamed of it I just simply didn't want it it was a personal preference and I have very dark hair and yeah I used to have to plan my outfits around when I was going to shave my armpits and I mean to be fair leg hair is something that's never really bothered me but arm hair for sure underarm hair is something that I used to find so frustrating and also my bikini line it's something that again I go on holiday and it would genuinely Panic me about how am I going to wear a bikini for a whole week like how am I gonna make this work without being in pain we all know what razor bun feels like and it's not nice so I I'm pretty sure it's just pre-pandemic that I started getting loads of hair removal terrible timing so I had my first bikini treatment just before the first lockdown I'd had underarm laser hair removal previously gone really well and I was like cool I'm gonna try my bikini which honestly just sounds so scary but I was like you know what it's my time to shine I'm gonna try it and went into lockdown and I did not have to shave all the whole of the first lockdown because I had that one treatment the first treatment I saw results and I immediately I was like this is going to be life-changing so that was obviously two years ago and now I'm at the point where I finished that course of treatment and I just go for top-ups now and honestly I do not shave I haven't had my whole body done laser but the areas that I have had I I genuinely shave like what just before I go to my Top-Up sessions that's it I I don't have to so I go to pause light clinic and have done I've never gone anywhere else and then I do use an at-home device occasionally but I tend to find now I actually don't need to so yeah laser hair removal for Me overall has been so incredibly positive I know I get so many questions about the pain so my underarms are and my lower legs which is what I've had done I did not find painful in the slightest you can take paraces more now before you go to your appointment if you want to and then afterwards they tell you not to exercise for like 24 hours and not have a really hot shower that's kind of the only downtime and then my bikini the first two sessions I would say hurt but they weren't unbearable like if you can deal with having a bikini wax then you will be absolutely fine having laser I genuinely go on holiday now and don't even have to think about it it is honestly life-changing I wish someone for like my sixth 16th birthday had gone they go here's a pack of laser sessions like you know there you go and I would have it would have just taken so much pressure off my mind like yes it's body hair it's not that deep but as a teenager it's definitely something that I used to think about and now I never have to think about it and it's amazing I also saved so much money on buying razors and hair removal creams and anything like that and I also when I started going to pause like I did some like calculations because I was getting bikini waxes and I would buy a package of bikini waxes and they worked out at around 50 pounds of wax which I'm in London so it's probably a bit higher than out of London but then I added up how much it will cost for what I was getting laser and it was very comparable and one of them had long-term results and the other didn't so yeah that was surprising to me because I always just assumed that laser was ridiculously expensive which is expensive but if I was paying 50 pounds for a wax then you know next up is my hair so I get so many questions about my hair care routine what I get done where I get it done what have I had done I actually go to Michael Von Clark to get my hair cut I used to go there years ago and then I kind of hop around some different places my place back home and now I've started going back there so I do not get my hair cut often enough it's something that I really need to prioritize and Michael himself cut my hair which was just so it's so amazing to watch him work and he basically kept my lens gave me a bit more shape gave me a little bit of like face framing bang situation at the front but he also asked me how I wear my hair which I think is really important so I love to have my hair like this I love to have my hair in a bun with a couple of bits down at the front and it was really funny because he was asking me which hand I wrote with and I was like what why and he was saying this side of my hair is more damaged like the front bit than this side and he was like what do you do with that side of your hair and I was like well this side I tucked behind my ear he was like right so you restyled this side and I was like well I guess I do which I just would have never noticed but but I had a cart which was so needed and then I had a gloss put on and this is the result I love to have my hair just super flicky blow dried occasionally I'll curl it like I have it today but putting minimal heat on my hair is really what I tried to do and I take vitamins every day for my hair and the main thing for me when it comes to Hair Care is drinking so much water I preach this and it's probably the last thing you want to hear if you're trying to grow your hair out and it sounds like such a stupid tip and it's so obvious but when I'm dehydrated I really do see it in my hair so yeah drinking a ton of water definitely helps so much I'll put all the details down below of exactly what I had done in my last treatments my hair but having the gloss on it it's not a color it's simply a colorless gloss makes such a difference my hair just looks and feels unbelievable for a prolonged period of time so I really find that makes such a difference too not only how it looks but how it feels and how it Styles next up is my nails so this is quite a funny one I am so religious with my nail kind of routine now and this was never a thing for me pre-pandemic I never got my nails done I have never had acrylics before I discovered gel like pretty much after that and it's been something that I really keep up with but whenever I am traveling or I leave London I am always so disappointed with my nails actually there is one place in La that I can go where she's incredible but in London I you've probably heard me say this a million times I go to London Grace I go there with a couple of my friends and occasionally we managed to book in at the same time and we have like a girly nail party which is really fun I went and got these done last not last night the night before and it's so so they have salons around London it's super easy because I literally sat here at 3pm and I was like my nails are kind of gross and I have a shoot tomorrow so I was like hmm I went on the website the head appointments for tonight and they actually had a discount on at the I don't they might still have it on now I'll put all the details down below and I literally managed my an appointment for two hours time I saved myself eight pounds I went and I had just a basic gel money they do a top-notch one which is where they do all like the cuticle work and everything but I didn't need that this time my go-to colors are midnight swim this is cashmere wrap this is what I go for when it's kind of well it's winter right now isn't it but when it's not Christmas and I also go for Studio white as well but I want to try some different colors but right now this is what I have on and I'm really enjoying it but yeah they're just so precise about everything they do like going to London Grace it really feels like you're getting a craft like I this is so so gross so I was in LA for quite a while earlier last year and ended up getting a couple of you know nail sessions out there I came back and I went to my normal salon and she was like oh do you have you been on holiday and I was like no she's like well have you been to the beach and I was like well not for like a couple of months and she was like wow she's like and you've had you've had pedies and I was like yeah why she was like well there's a piece of a grain of sand stuck in like your nail bed and she said they haven't they haven't done the petty properly they haven't cleaned your nails properly because they should have been picked up she was like you would never have noticed it it's not something you could have done she was like but they should have noticed that immediately and I was like horrified I was like Wow because it's so much more expensive to get your nails done in the US than it is here so I was like really freaked out about that and I need to find a new a new salon in LA to get pennies because that's really hard when you find something so amazing in one place and then you can't replicate it but yeah I I stand London Grace I sing their praises I think they're fabulous and it's just one of those things that has just made my life so easy and I love my nails um what I asked for when I go in I just ask my nails as short as possible and rounded and when it comes to prolonging the life of my Manny's I have the weakest nails in the world so I put oil on my nails every night before I go to bed just unlike my whole hands I use this bison it's oil but I also have London Grace like oil that I you can just buy it at the tail and I keep it in my handbag so then if I'm out and about and maybe my hands feel a bit dry especially if I'm wearing gloves out and about I'll just put it on because then I know I'm going to put gloves on anyway and it's going to sink in so yeah that's kind of my nail prep and I do exactly the same on my toes if I have it on my nails I have it on my toes next up is something that I speak about more on Vlogs but I don't think I've really spoken about on my main Channel and that is Aesthetics so I have my lips done which I feel like is very obvious right now uh I had them filled on Friday and it is currently Monday so they're still swollen I have gone to the same place to get my lips filled for oh my goodness four years five years I go to the lovely Clinic it's on Walton Street right by Harris which means you get to go into the Harris Food Hall in the chocolate Hall specifically and I got some ladder rack on the way and nibbled on my cornflake chocolate on the way to getting into my appointment so I see Dr Sarah and I like I said have seen her for so long I really enjoy the look of having filler in my lips I've just finished my appointment and that is officially my lips topped up I'm just gonna put some lip balm on this one is claired of her and it literally didn't even hurt so crazy and it's that time of the month and that makes things way more painful so I'm very relieved however it's not something that I think I will continue to have forever and definitely if for some reason she stopped practicing I wouldn't go and find somewhere else to have it done what I had done this time she just went and basically evened some bits out because I have wonky lips in general like just normally when there's no filler in them so as the filler starts to dissolve then they get wonky again basically so yeah a lot of what I have done with my lips is correction but obviously also of course they are larger so that's what I get in Aesthetics wise Botox I am literally 25 years old I don't have any Botox or anything like that I have had Botox in my muscle here I think maybe twice if not three times because I was having terrible trouble with my jaw locking I spoke to my dentist and he was like try Botox see if it helps and it did and then in turn because I was given I guess a break from the clenching it then kind of solved every other problem so I don't have to get that done anymore because I don't have the issue my jaw doesn't lock anymore thank goodness that was a weird time that was horrible I remember waking up this was like look down one and I would wake up in the morning just not be able to talk or open my mouth I couldn't eat it was really strange I used I'd have to wait for my jaw to like warm up in the day so as soon as we got out of lockdown and I was able I went and had that done and it took like a few having it a few times to give my muscle time to relax and yeah now it's okay thank goodness what I would say though about getting filler if lip fillers and like an Aesthetics journey is something you've been considering going on please go off recommendations and make sure if you do go to anyone they have the right qualifications so Dr Sarah who I go to she's a fully qualified doctor a fully qualified dentist and she's been practicing in Aesthetics for years it's not so this is why I say if she didn't practice anymore I wouldn't go and find anywhere else it's such a major thing having something injected into your face that I just don't you should go to someone down the street because you found them on Facebook or something like that you know this is really important and I think also don't rush into something like that if you've been considering it like take time to mull it over because it's a huge thing and I think it's very normalized and I know even in other countries it's way more normalized than it is in the UK but it's still in my opinion a big thing and finally something that makes the biggest difference is having my eyebrows tattooed so I have had quite a few different types of eyebrow tattooing and what I have currently is like a realistic hair technique so I went to Tracy Giles to get my eyebrows done again of total recommend Foundation it's been one of those things that I'd had my eyebrows microblade in the past I was really happy with them actually really happy but just decided you know what it works for me to go somewhere else and yeah everyone that I spoke to was like oh you should definitely try going to Tracy trials so I filmed my whole experience whilst I went there I actually posted like a fun little Instagram reel on it I'll pop it here but yeah it's so different this time to what I had last time my brows are way more natural this time essentially they're like mini hairs and it's it's really funny because I obviously have very thick brows however they're not the most symmetrical just because you know they're sisters not twins and I don't know if that makes it almost harder but it definitely makes a different type of treatment because it's yeah there's already so much to work with and also then they don't want to be overfilled because then they're like they can look too thick or too dark or too this or too bad but yeah I love my brows it saves me so much time in the morning I'm terrible at filling my brows in there they would always be wonky and I would overfill them so now I just wake up in the morning and my brows are done and it is such a relief it's definitely something that I will keep on top of I don't feel like I need them topped up at all right now I had one appointment my initial appointment and then I had a top up and I think the last time I I think my Top-Up was maybe three months ago oh I don't know I'm plucking that out of thin air but what I'm saying is I'm really happy with them and I have no intentions of stopping that because it just I mean I have thick brows anyway but for me it stops me having to do something every day that I'm really bad at therefore takes me so long so yeah love love love my brows and the final treatment I actually haven't had done in the longest time and didn't have done for this video is LVL so I love my lashes I cherish my lashes I use lash serum on my lashes this is again I mean that's an everyday thing but I highly recommend using a lash serum a lash serum matched with an LVL is just a dream I didn't have an LVL for this video because I wanted to get my lashes to the point where I felt they were ready for it I am still trying to grow them out a little bit with my serum so I think maybe in like three weeks they'll be ready to go so follow my Instagram and I'll obviously post it on my stories but yeah an LVL is the dream I have never been so pleased with the treatment waking up in the morning because just having lashes that are literally ready to go is an absolute dream I have the worst Lashes in the world they flop with most mascaras they just don't hold a curl unless I literally hair dry my lash curlers and I use my specific mascara which name I'm not going to say because we all know what it is and yeah like I I obviously whenever I go and get LVL I do have to say this I always say to the person doing it by the way I have terrible lashes and they just kind of adapt it to that and it works so yeah that's that's a game-changing one but those are all of the treatments that I have to give me a low maintenance day-to-day life I tend to try and get them done all in one week or all in a few days that way I feel super fresh and they all kind of wear off at the same time so instead of feeling like half done all the time I have a time where I feel really done and then it kind of slowly goes away and then I get it done again yeah I really hope you found this helpful I know so many of you wanted me to do this let me know if you have any other video requests in the comments down below and I'll be sure to do them and and I will see you next Wednesday in the next one goodbye
