My Alligator Picks out a New Toy at the Pet Store!

so recently Rex our American alligator has been a really good girl and she hasn't destroyed anything in her room so we figured we would reward her and let her pick out a brand new toy at Petsmart now before we go in I do have to explain for anyone new to the channel we would never recommend an American alligator to be a pet we didn't even want one we should kind of fell in our hands we got her from somebody who kept her in a 4-foot wooden box for the first 27 years of her life we've had her for five years she's 32 now but because of being neglected and kept in such a small enclosure and only being fed every other week she's severely stunted and while she was growing her spout would hit the sides of that box and that's what caused it to curve upwards like this because of malnutrition she developed a health issue called rubber jaw so basically her job became flexible and now it's permanently deformed so again we do not recommend an alligator as a pet however she's been she's now our family member and she always will be for the rest of her life so we're gonna spoil her well with that out of the way let's head on in and let her pick out a toy [Music] okay we've made it to the doc toy aisle there you go now things we're gonna keep in mind when we're letting her pick out a toy is that we want the toy to have something for her to hang on to with her mouth so she can kind of pulling it around it also can't be too big for her and we want to make sure it doesn't have pieces that could possibly break that she could swallow like we're probably not gonna get her something like this because I just worried that she could bite that and then we'd have a foreign body inside of her we're gonna let her choose to a point [Music] I bought this Rex it's an alligator twit or this one I get her toys she does not like the alligator toys no she doesn't [Music] whoa don't want of those Oh would you like those toys that might work [Music] all right so what's coming to mind to me for curvy wasn't it interactive looked like this could all bounce right back and forth with her we would but she's already got a wobble in her favorite toy [Music] well that was a lot of work yeah rest break [Music] hey she likes it that's hers now [Music] oh I do like your dinosaur cousins hey Rex we have set up your final choices in front of you can you pick your favorite one go to your favorite one she wanted on it she grunted on this tire toy okay I think that's a good sign that this is what she wants okay all right we have her favorite toy there you go she chose it herself you're good oh cool thank you thank you bye Rex well we've got your new toy now let's go home and you can start playing with it [Music] go back in your room you know where your room is go on in your lights are off I'm sorry it's late there you go go back in go to bed good girl so it's pretty late we had to do a couple programs afterwards so I'm just gonna put her to bed for now but I'm gonna wait until she wakes up tomorrow because she is pretty exhausted yep this is where she rests after I bring her places she's got the foot kicked back she's ready for bed goodnight Rex I'll give you your toy tomorrow okay Rick Victoria don't do that don't try to eat it you can't eat it well look at her just chew on it yeah okay take it from her cook a wheel winter then we get splashed Wow I'd say she likes it when she stirred up all the gunk intercooler that's her toilet this rare toy now yeah not to change your water can't take this I want you to chew on the entire part right try it no try this part this is the fun part try this electro you don't explain your alligator life with an alligator how does it get death roll out sure I don't think she got anything off of the tire place she killed a dire no thank you for standard s rule I think we're gonna be good well someone we have to get the toy out of her mouth yeah there were the plastic piece so she finally let go of the toy and we got it out of the pool and now I want to know if she will like chewing on the actual rubber part because she really likes the rope but do you like this Rex yeah Emily do you want to explain what you did for Rexy yeah it seemed like she liked to toys we also bought her the Jolly ball we got her this -
