My 94 Year Old Grandma Reacts to Magic Tricks

the knife went through my arm change [Music] [Music] hey grandma at seven I'm great how are you doing I'm doing I was seeing if you had any plans this afternoon well cool I was gonna swing by and maybe show you some magic tricks oh great all right well I'll have Meyer probably come by around lunchtime okay great what's good welcome back to Van era TV I am your host Devin arrow today's video is my 94 year old grandmother reacting to magic tricks I'm here at my grandma's house we just got here I haven't done magic for my grandma on like 10 years probably and she's like the sweetest lady in the world so let's go meet her she's ready for us so let's go inside come on this is the first one to show you this is a little red handkerchief you can touch it and make sure it's real it's real okay nothing in my hands either empty hands as you can see so I'm going to take the little red hanky and it's gonna get stuffed right down here in my fist you can see it going in there mm-hmm let's step it right down inside yeah and just pay close attention to my answer you can see watch I just give it a squeeze Oh a little more when he was born I got in my arms and I said for me there's nothing in there it's empty right I have a bottle of coke you can see we take the bottle of coke it goes in the bag like this one yeah put the bottle of coke down in the bag ever [Music] it disappears magic stone [Music] I've got that marker for me make sure it's normal it looks normal also have a deck of cards here good old bicycle yeah have a deck of bicycle cards standard deck we don't need the Joker's for this bit but as you can see they're all different cards we'll give them a quick mix for it if you would cut the deck wherever you would like I heard once cuts in you're sure to win to give it a thin cut for us there's that perfect okay check out the card that you cut to there this one oh you want me to show it to you purchase no you can show it to the camera how about that and I will not look keep my eyes off of that bird got it okay now I want you to sign the front of the card this is the back so sign the front of the card for me if you will would you want me to turn this over sure it doesn't matter if I see it it's okay and you're what me to sign yeah just put a signature or a little google on the front all right so it's alright if I see it the seven of clubs and we've got your signature on it there didn't see yeah so I'm gonna go very openly just take your card and put it back in the deck here okay yeah okay you can see it going right back inside yeah yeah okay watch I'm gonna sit the cards down and I'm not gonna touch them from now on okay watch [Music] see one first popped out right here right to me success [Music] oh great another card right here that's folded up in paper-clipped okay let's sit that on the table and it's gonna stay right there the entire time okay yeah so what I want you to do I've got a bunch of cards here I'm just gonna mix them up should I pick any card you want okay any card I went to any card you want okay um this is what I want okay seven of Spades yeah all right do me a favor take that card okay and sign the front of it really big and bold with your initials with my initials uh-huh okay for your signature whatever you want to do okay correct okay I'll take the card back from you and we'll let it dry for a sec you can see seven of Spades keep that one locked in your mind okay you had a free choice of any card in the deck that's fair to say right mm-hmm so I didn't influence that choice in any way anything like that yeah so this card here has been sitting on the table in full view the entire time right since for the trick started I want you to see the card is paper-clipped yeah on both sides if I remove the paper clip from the card it should be a seven a close if we look and open it up mm-hmm you can see so I have a spoon here do you remember her Geller now used to bend the spoons with his mind have spoons and forks fear in front oh no really what watch the spin it's bending backwards [Music] [Laughter] there's my grandson drinking water grandma beer beer I'm 94 cut loose you know yeah 94 and I'm not out the door not yet a 95 still alive 96 between the matrix and 97 gone to heaven and 98 of the gate 99 I'm still am fine what's up 100 god is wondered check this out huh I have a bottle here you can see the top of it right like this yeah can't fit through the top never the bottle right there's no way that could go through this oh of course not so watch if I take the cap in the bottle like this watch it and kind of see it happen to come out [Music] that's a really cool card trick I've never showed my audience this before either so it's a first for that mana first for you so what card is the Queen of Spades right yeah you can see the back of the card too is normal yeah normal on the back and normal on the front yeah watch photos hold the card like this and I gently wave it back and forth you can kind of see it change [Music] yeah and you can kind of build up a static charge on it that's not a real bill it is it is if you just $10 $100 goes Oh a hundred oh I see it can I hold it like this if I cannot get it to stick to my finger a little bit like that you can see oh yeah but watch if I move my finger off of it [Music] we got a problem I had a trick go wrong this is it this is not supposed to happen if the knife went through my arm this one is really cool this is actually one that I sell in my shop that's called the invisible deck now this is obviously a visible deck you can see this one hold it there we go so there's 52 cards in the deck I want you to envision the deck of cards visualize it in your mind and then think of any card in the deck okay and visualize that card turning face down okay so what Carter you visualize in turning face down which one King of Spades the King of Spades really you could have thought of any card right do me a favor and change your mind one more time just to make it even more random okay what card do you see now clean of balance the queen of diamonds so you've been holding this deck for the entire time right right okay check this out take him over here to the deck he said the queen of diamonds correct okay in the King of Spades right the queen of diamonds was the car clean lines play yeah yeah just to make it really random okay okay queen of diamonds so check this out if we spread through the cards you can see there's one card in the entire deck that's facedown right right tell me you visualize the queen of diamonds being facedown right right pull that card out this one is a really cool Queen trick so I have a half dollar here let me see a half dollar it is check it out some metal see here pulled out your hand point here how about this one I would set the coin right here in your hand check this out if I hold it like this watch you can't see this happen so now that the tricks are over actually have one last one to
