I want a room throw real quick just a few of the notes I use i never use very many we always use the same one because of course they're easy Kosar the cost of good if you haven't got the time to tie a nice place like this to make a look one of the best knot you can use he's a boar line or a bowling and all you do there is you take a loop you push your tag in through round the back and then back through the loop again like that so when you pull it down tight that's it I'll show you again real quick all right first of all you make a loop like that then you take your tag end go out of the loop around the back and back into the loop again when it pulls down it looks like that now the way that I learnt it was you get your loop you rub it comes out of the hole goes round the back of the tree and goes into the hole again no need always just sliding down tight now the beauty of a balling like this is you can pull this tight you can use that loop you can usually onto your anchor or to tie off toe and this knot here all you have to do to take it off is you brick its back like that and any one ties if you tied a normal overhand knot like this as a loop so I see water on that and some strain after a while it will pull that tight you'll never get it undone whereas a bowline or bawling all you have to do which one do it once it's tightened down like that all you have to do to undo it is you turn it over you break it back and you can tight that's a ball in the next one is the clove hitch news up a tiny tiny boat up to a cleat tying your fenders to a railing tying things on to an eye tight to a pause anything I'll show you really quick all you do is like I'll show you on to this piece of real in here all you do is you take your rope over the top and then over the top again through there like that that there and see the tighter you pull the tighter it gets that's a clove hitch I'll show you one more time really quickly outside over once over itself and through the loop now this the tighter it pulls you get a bit of salt water running it dries it is going to get really tight and quite difficult Sonntag if you just want it to be a semi-permanent not say like you just pieces together and you were just wanted them to be like a tight joint or you can do it this is like a shock lid or not you just take one over the other and they tie an overhand knot this is called the fisherman's knot see there look I'm just tying a simple overhand knot on one and on the other one it's a simple overhand knot but you go through twice once twice up so when it pulls down like that and then all you do you pull them together just like that that is just like a shock leader not the only problem with this is once you've got some tension on it and you've got some salt water and it it's been wet and dry and wet and dry that is very difficult to undo now look I'll show you again really quickly able to tied up this is if it's going to be more of a permanent permanent join between the two you take one generally the larger diameter rope it's all these are pretty much the same but the larger diameter you only do one over hunt not and then with you the one used to an overhand knot again but you go through it twice like that slide you're not don't and then once you both tight like that all you do is just pull them together they will as they pull together they will tighten each tying a lure down onto a trailer or like a tarpaulin over your boat or anything like that it just it's a way of getting it very tight and I'll show you I've got to tie these two pictures rope together tying your fence back or your Tyner a bush back away from your house will happen we'll just show you right really quickly clove hitch walk it off with a half hitch really strong knot so we're really on this side this is where the truck was not going to be right what you wanna do is this is what you're tying it to now just using this to reel in here just to show you but whatever you're tying there you want to tight to this as tight as you can this could be a post it could be an RA it could be you pat your fence it could be a cleat on a board it doesn't matter all you wanna do is you have a little bit of stretch a little bit of leftover bring yourself about two feet from what you're tying to and there you want to put just a little overhand loop like that and all you do is you take this rope through that loop then you're gonna pull this this way and only do is if you can see goes around like that so it's like two pulleys it's easier to get in tight how much tension our building on this now you can hold all that on there look between two fingers you couldn't get this any tighter any other way and all you need to do there is you can just lock it off with a half hitch [Music] if you want each of you if you want to be able to undo it that already put a loop in it to undo it I mean you're gonna see the tension now to undo it all you don't pull that string then you go one I'll show you that again you come to whatever you're tying to this at the moment it's raining could be anything you just need to be able to go around it or through it this also needs to be quite a strong anchor point because if it's not there's every chance that you'll be able tight that tight that you'll pull this out come back two feet make yourself a little overhang not doesn't matter if you go underneath this or over the top of it you're just going around it and then you take your rope through the loop like that and then you're going to pull this in this direction and you'll see like the pulley system makes it twice as easy to get it twice as tight but all you do is just giving a little bit of elbow grease and then go hold this just tie your knot [Music] no I don't know if you can see our tight days and this is how easy it is to undo it when you just Tyler if you want to only to be there as a permanent fixture just put a couple of half-inch isn't going anywhere but if you if you
