today we're going to check out episode one of eminence in Shadow this is an anime I've been waiting for you know I love my isakai so let's jump into it but before we do most of you were not subscribed synopsis for this that I read it just sounds really interesting starting off with something like this that's not trophies are y'all trying to get a little edgy off rip or at least some fan service off rip wait she gets he's a card I thought it was a guy oh my God what the [ __ ] oh she's been traumatized what is this a nice house too I am jealous oh oh that's the guy oh heavy what is up with that oh he's already beneath bro this man's strongest [ __ ] oh oh yeah he still [ __ ] it up no oh man this is interesting it's from coming from somebody else's perspective right now even though he's the main character that's why she's obsessed with him dude this man is strong as [ __ ] and I get why she would be obsessed with them because he's the only one that doesn't give her the attention she craves she's actually pretty interesting so far and my dog going in a lot of upskirt shots bro what is going on here okay I see what's going on I'm getting a little bit of fan service with this one all they do this a lot with isakai first episode is like that hype Hook second episode is when we get like info on the character like when he got isakai and all that [ __ ] the backstory oh Canada hey at least he remembered her name right [Music] whoa what the [ __ ] what the [ __ ] was that oh it's the Moon Yeah well that was kind of creepy for a second though you outdated gangster cliche time to switch the drip oh she was kidnapped the first time no really she had to go through that I don't like seeing glass falling and eyeballs oh okay yeah I don't know about stylish a sweatshirt and oh well you should you should have kept his ass right there bro oh he's like I was I went I was in the Army I could fight bro you about to learn son about to learn oh how do you not cut your [ __ ] tongue off was that a shoehorn oh crowbar I thought he was using his shoehorn that's gonna hurt your fist though oh yo [ __ ] is a broken dog [Music] foreign this man is wild Jesus you just shoved him up his ass what did he do with the crowbars [Music] obviously you just cut your [ __ ] the ties holding you there you in love now huh you're like who could he have been oh dang emptied and disassembled the guns too I'll never be the Eminence in Shadow that's cool dude [ __ ] dude the stylish bull constantly so stupid dude oh wait he wasn't even Easter card yet this man was Kick-Ass he was literally Kick-Ass that's crazy that was a non-isa-kai'd kid just [ __ ] [ __ ] up bro that's wild oh my God traccoon I did not expect him to go off before getting isakai that's wild like this man was literally training all day every day to essentially become the Eminence in Shadow what does that mean to him though it's like a term that he created this is a very much like a very serious tone but once he gets he Sakai it's going to be much more of a comedy right almost foreign I like their uniforms just black and gold it's sick so many you can fly oh they all can fly but with the with the magic power foreign [Music] I very intrigued now this has not given me the comedy Vibes that I was expecting from the synopsis The synopsis very much comedy Vibes the the first trailer very serious fives in fact I thought they were vampires to start this one the first episode also very serious I'm not getting a lot of Comedy vibes from this so essentially we've got a guy who is trying to be Kick-Ass ever seen the movie Kick-Ass essentially trying to kind of be like a superhero that operates in the [ __ ] kind of trying to be Batman right trying to operate in the shadows and take down enemies whatever you know try to save people and stuff he ends up saving this one girl who I assume is like some actress she's the daughter of somebody important she was actually kidnapped once before and it looks like a lot of [ __ ] went down for her she's dealing with a lot of trauma there but he saves her and dude he had to have been some sort of like chunibio he's literally going around calling people background characters NPCs named NPCs stuff like that in his real life not in the isakai life not like after no 4 when he's like a normal person he'd train in a bunch of different ways he goes around with weights on his wrists and and like a super heavy bag heavy shoes very odd but yeah traccoon truck couldn't find you Dragoon will find you and that's what happens dude tricoon finds him and uh he gets isakaid and now he is trying to be the Eminence in Shadow here he's trying to be all powerful kind of heroic but operating in the shadows figure and he's got like this Army of girls uh that help him or maybe they do the work for him I don't know he's just a decision maker he's like the captain you know the one that shouts out the commands comes up with the plans not really sure yet because again one episode and most of the episode was pre-isakai very surprising though it was giving me post isakai Vibes even though the setting was very modern Japan and that's what was kind of like clashing there I was like this is a little weird but he has to have been already isakai right and he just hasn't encountered all the girls I don't know but yeah I'm intrigued for sure from here I want to know what you all thought about this episode down in the comments below whenever we finish this season I have four volumes of the light novel on my shelf right there I plan on reading it that should be awesome but I'm gonna wait until we've actually finished the the first season then I'll know what I can read up to volume one two three four you know what I'm saying so again just let me know what you
