MTN - 1989 BMW 325i 5-Speed - Part 2

all right this is part two 1989 325i I've nicknamed it Casper it was Betty White before that but after it lost its first motor and had to have a transplant i' renamed it Casper Casper the scalpel cuz this thing handles it's set up for Street daily use it's never been tracked but it just eats up the miles I've got a 328 is steering rack in uh converted to manual so the steering is manual the brakes are still powered everything else is powered but I love the rack it's comfortable on the highway but it really puts you in the turns quickly and with control up on white two mostly new accessories during the rebuild or the sort of reinstallation of the motor so alternator fuel pump fuel pressure regulator uh brake master cylinder radiator all the hoses timing belt water pump original reservoir for the was washer fluid that still works new reservoir for the coolant of course coolant is good coolant is good coolant is your friend original Vin tag over there I'll show you that but just a tidy engine bay ready for modifications vent tag there vent tag there and vent tag there so as I mentioned it's got an R134 setup the belt is currently off the compressor because that zinc bracket is broken at two welds so once we get that swapped over the AC will be purring like a kitten it worked for a while last summer kept me cool I couldn't complain all right we're going to shut the hood well H let's start it [Applause] up I started it to move the car U but it was a quick start and move so this is pretty much a cold start right now Focus come on baby starts right up I've got a BMW RDS reverse with Bluetooth you press am here and that switches you over to Bluetooth of course the tape deck still works which of course I've got John Lee Hooker in there if you're a blues guy then you [Music] know I have not wired in the Euro simple clock yet windows [Music] [Music] work brake light check [Music] I'm in the moood I'm [Music] in I'm in [Music] in [Music] [Music] new battery this year remove sound deadening but of course I still have that Stay Puff Marshmallow Man yeah so you have rust here and of course you have the rusted out section there but um again I mean remedy that at your own pace I've got some stickers in [Music] here places she's been what can I say those can all be removed I love the [Music] exhaust try to get you a sound clip at some point no curb rash on the wheels about 14,000 Mi on the wheels and [Music] tires new spring for the door very nice windows are excellent there's a little bit of sort of etching you can sort of barely see it but it's not bad money [Applause] shot can I do I'm in [Music] the all right come and get it now right behind here you have a brake lining light easily remedied I've got the brake sensor I just haven't installed it yet I've got a couple other projects going but yeah she's a sweet ride you will be happy I promise and as far as maintenance is concerned this is my business lighter and lemon that's a stack there of all of the receipts during my build those are all receipts and of course you have the original manual so yeah she's ready to roll um I've got a couple of accessories that I might throw in for a price but right now this car is advertised at 14,000 it will not get any cheaper than that it's an excellent car it shifts well it drives well it tracks straight down the road I know that you can find cheaper e30s but you cannot find nicer cheaper e30s so hope you all have enjoyed the walk around tour and uh you know first one that comes with cash drives it away cheers
