MOVING VLOG: first day in apartment, grocery haul, cleaning, cooking

[Music] so [Music] [Music] so it's actually the first day in the apartment um i'm gonna show you what the apartment looks like right now okay don't come for me because i moved in last night i have like stuff that i was assembling here these are actually all empty boxes because i already put all that stuff away and then like i have all my bulk stuff the stuff that goes into the um bathroom my mcdonald's but um and there's just bags like trash that's a bin full of clothes that actually has to go into my room and like just all of this so this is where most of the mess is let me see so i have a little bit of a mess here in my room too literally the only thing i have in here is a mattress this is all my makeup stuff but i needed it open because i had my soap in there so i could take a shower um and then after i prayed that i never finished last night and so i just i need to clean up i want to show you guys some of the things that we picked up the first thing i bought is this this is in the inside the shower we bought these and this is gonna go inside the drawer um in my bathroom we got a liner for the bathroom we got these sheets these ugg sheets and we got this for the bathroom this is also going to be for the shower a trash for the bathroom we got this for my dog when i say we it's me and my best friend because she came with me to go shopping um so just for my dog let's get into the grocery haul so these are all of the things that i freaking bought um so i'm gonna do this quick got some chicken bouillon seasoning got some whole wheat bread um these are little croissant things that we're gonna make um in the oven what is this these are biscuits we got shrimp um we got wings so i can make it an airfryer and then we got a whole bunch of freaking chicken we got chicken this is chicken what is this chicken tenders um pork chops and then these are um thinly sliced chicken breasts um uncured ham we got chicken pasta alfredo sauce and then i got these these are literally my favorite they're the black cherry sparkling waters i love these stuff um i got the two good uh greek yogurt even though this is not my favorite one this is the mixed berry i usually get the strawberry but they didn't have the strawberry so i got that we got pasta the penne pasta um olive oil spray the olive garden italian dressing i got romaine hearts then we got some baby spinach and arugula um i got some oh i got some honey these uh onions peppers and then i got a whole bunch of freaking seasonings uh okay so we got onion powder we got salt a boba paprika lemon pepper just regular pepper oregano tan garlic powder um we got the sasso i love using these like on my chicken and then we got red pepper flakes which i freaking love this i got some garlic yup some minced garlic mayo ketchup tomato sauce um damn i got so many things i got mexican cheese um white um distilled distilled white vinegar parmesan cheese because we want to make the gigi hadid pasta we had already made it um a couple weeks ago so i'm gonna make that again got some swiss cheese i got some almond milk apples raspberries blueberries and then these are the snacks we got because we're gonna have a movie night tonight so we got some peanut butter candy candy cookies we got oreos we got cinnamon rolls and my friend loves these these are the hot buffalo wings like pretzel pieces but that's pretty much all that we ended up getting for um groceries so we're gonna have a little bit of wine so we can freaking do this okay [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] i have [Music] okay hey you guys so it's a little bit later in the day i already took a shower and did my skincare and all that stuff and now i'm hungry so i'm gonna go ahead and make something to eat so i actually have my computer set up and i'm actually watching maggie mcdonald's old vlogs right now um so i'm gonna pop that on and um made myself a sandwich [Music] so guys i just finished eating still waiting for my mom and my sister to come i think once i get more into a routine of like i really want to start eating healthier going to the gym and doing all that stuff and getting my life together which is a journey that we are going to go on together obviously now that i have my new place um i want to see if i can build a new life and build healthier like lifestyles and literally i say this i was literally just eating a bag of duckies [Music] that's my favorite [Music] so [Music] [Music] and make a couple of tips these past few days [Music] all right [Applause] for trouble [Music] okay so tonight we made dinner my mom and my sister came over we made dinner um my brother came over and set up my router finally um i just finished making some i don't know if you would call this tea but it's lemon water with honey honestly i thought i wasn't gonna like it but i ended up really liking it it tastes really good sorry i'm looking at you better so i ended up really liking it it's sweet but it's not sweet in a bad way it's kind of sour i can't actually really like it um so i've been kind of sick the past couple days so i'm just hydrating and i heard this is a really good remedy for coughs and stuff like that so that's why i'm doing that um they say that lemon is a really good source of vitamin c um iron magnesium i forgot a whole bunch of other stuff and they said that the honey helps as well so that is why i am making this tonight and then i also wanted to show you guys what i ended up getting from wayfair so i actually ended up ordering two barstools i only ordered two for now i'm going to order the other two probably like in about two weeks um so i actually want three barstools but i don't think that i'm gonna be able to just order a three it comes in a set of two and they were almost like three hundred dollars but i'm gonna show you guys these are the bar stools that i ended up going with um i think they look really nice and i like so something that i was telling my mom is that i didn't want the back sorry i didn't want the back so you see this part i didn't want it to be too high because i don't want so this is my like area i don't want the back obstructing the view of the living room so that is why i went with something a little shorter i think these are going to be very nice really nice and comfortable and i like that the back is not too high and i think it's going to go perfect with the aesthetic that i'm trying to go with so i'm really excited to get those in the mail it's um it does say that they should have been arriving it's just autofocus is on and it's being so annoying okay yeah so i'm really excited for those to get here um they say that they should be coming within about a week to a week and a half but with everything with covet honestly i don't even know if they're gonna get here that quick um but hopefully they do if they end up if i end up liking them and they end up being good i'm gonna go ahead and order two more but i'm really excited just to at least get that because honestly i feel so bad like tonight my mom and my sister came and i don't have any furniture like i have my bed and they actually took a nap in my bed but i don't have like anything for them to sit on and everything so everyone was just standing up eating their meal and then we went to my room and they knocked out on my bed but i feel bad like i want to have furniture here so i have that and then as far as a couch goes oh my god guys finding a couch has been so annoying so so far these are the stores that i've went to i went to ashley's i found a couch not exactly the color that i want but it's the style that i wanted and they told me it's not gonna get here for another like three four months too long i went to bernie and phil's i did not find anything that i liked i went to basset something i don't remember exactly the name too expensive and the couch wasn't even that big like um because my my space is pretty big so but yeah it wasn't what i was looking for i've been looking on wayfair i didn't really find anything that i liked so the only place that i actually found something that i really liked was big lots but um of course they're out of stock that's pretty much it honestly i washed all my dishes i cleaned up the countertop um it's a little bit messy again because my brother just came over and i just made him some food but he set up my router he set up my wi-fi so that is super exciting i really needed my wi-fi i've been using my hotspot for the past couple days and like i've just been draining my freaking hotspot so i'm excited to finally have actual wi-fi like internet and i've been paying for it so um and then my dog's here tonight hold on she was in a bad mood when my mom left look she's here nina i'm gonna give you some ham okay okay so i've been feeding her ham and that's been keeping her pretty good she was crying when my mom left so are we gonna be ending off the vlog here watching sex in the city right now that is what i'm gonna do for the rest of the night i'm gonna be on my computer maybe look for some furniture but yeah i'll see you guys in next week's video bye [Music] [Music]
