hello and welcome<font color="#E5E5E5"> to my channel</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> vice</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">Rhino here today we're getting into part</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">three of Matt Steve Austin has a whole</font> documentary<font color="#E5E5E5"> on why this is evidence for</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">the flood this is one</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> of the most</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">amazing features of</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> Mount st. geology the</font> study of<font color="#E5E5E5"> rocks or stones and he puts his</font> degree to use working for creationists that's Stone Cold Steve<font color="#E5E5E5"> Austin stone</font> cold color="#E5E5E5"> people are gonna argue well how did</font> it<font color="#E5E5E5"> get into all these different</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> layers</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">I'm not sure man I am so glad</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> you chose</font> the<font color="#E5E5E5"> best and the brightest</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> to represent</font> the side of science<font color="#E5E5E5"> let me just point</font> out<font color="#CCCCCC"> to you here that the explanation for</font> these trees has been known and has remained mostly unchanged since the <font color="#E5E5E5">1860s</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> in</font> fact it<font color="#E5E5E5"> never had time to become an</font> argument<font color="#E5E5E5"> before being debunked</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> so you</font> might say<font color="#CCCCCC"> that this one was</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> pre bunked</font> what would a<font color="#E5E5E5"> worldwide flood do to</font> Planet Earth well let's<font color="#CCCCCC"> assume that</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> you're</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> talking</font> about<font color="#E5E5E5"> the water vapor canopy thing that</font> last I heard you<font color="#E5E5E5"> still believe</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> despite</font> it being so ridiculous I even Answers in Genesis won't agree<font color="#E5E5E5"> with you well</font> there's this<font color="#CCCCCC"> thing called the</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> latent</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">heat of vaporization when water turns</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">into vapor it takes heat with it</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> which</font> is why sweat works<font color="#E5E5E5"> and when it turns back</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">into water it releases that heat with</font> the<font color="#E5E5E5"> amount of water vapor that would be</font> necessary to<font color="#CCCCCC"> sustain your vapor canopy</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">the heat released just by</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> turning all</font> that vapor back<font color="#CCCCCC"> into water would be</font> enough<font color="#CCCCCC"> to</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> raise</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> the temperature of</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> the</font> earth to<font color="#CCCCCC"> 6,000 degrees</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> and I hear the</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">pedants in my audience</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> asking is that</font> Celsius or Fahrenheit<font color="#E5E5E5"> well we're talking</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">about humans existing at 6,000 degrees</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">does it matter</font> either one sucks balls<font color="#E5E5E5"> but maybe Hoeven</font> has referred back<font color="#CCCCCC"> to his space</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> ice</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> berg</font> idea which still has the latent<font color="#CCCCCC"> heat of</font> vaporization problem but adds to it a <font color="#E5E5E5">massive ice asteroid impact which</font> creates all<font color="#CCCCCC"> sorts of other problems for</font> the creationist models<font color="#CCCCCC"> it would deposit</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">thousands of feet of</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> sediments</font> containing<font color="#CCCCCC"> billions of dead things</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> which</font> is exactly what we find fossils<font color="#CCCCCC"> exist</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">all over</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> the world including the</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> top of</font> Mount Everest <font color="#E5E5E5">yeah but the main problem</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> here is that</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">if there were a</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> global flood the</font> millions of dead things<font color="#CCCCCC"> would have</font> included Noah and his family<font color="#CCCCCC"> because</font> physics<font color="#CCCCCC"> one of the great proofs of the</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">worldwide</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> flood is the fact that</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> we</font> found fossilized seashells<font color="#CCCCCC"> up on the</font> very peak<font color="#E5E5E5"> of Mount Everest</font> which means that Mount<font color="#E5E5E5"> Everest would</font> have had it<font color="#CCCCCC"> been covered with</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> water it's</font> a simple fact<font color="#CCCCCC"> but it's a true one and</font> scientists for many years have been <font color="#E5E5E5">trying to figure</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> out how these</font> fossilized seashells<font color="#CCCCCC"> got all the way up</font> to the top of Mount Everest<font color="#E5E5E5"> nope that's</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">not really a good bit in</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> favor of the</font> flood it may have been<font color="#E5E5E5"> a mystery at one</font> point but plate tectonics solved that from<font color="#E5E5E5"> about 200 million years</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> ago the</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">Indian plate has been moving</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> toward the</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">Eurasian Plate</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> and</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> is being pushed under</font> it or subducted there used to<font color="#E5E5E5"> be an</font> ocean separating India and the rest<font color="#E5E5E5"> of</font> Eurasia<font color="#E5E5E5"> but</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> as the Indian plate was</font> subducted under the Eurasian Plate the sediment from<font color="#CCCCCC"> the ocean floor was</font> deposited on the<font color="#E5E5E5"> edge of the Eurasian</font> Plate<font color="#E5E5E5"> in an accretionary wedge when the</font> two plates finally collided about 50 million<font color="#CCCCCC"> years ago this</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> sediment was</font> pushed up into<font color="#E5E5E5"> the mountain range that</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">we know today as the</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> Himalayas this</font> process is still<font color="#CCCCCC"> going on</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> and as a</font> result Mount Everest grows at a rate<font color="#CCCCCC"> of</font> about one point two<font color="#E5E5E5"> centimeters per year</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">which I guess technically means that</font> every<font color="#CCCCCC"> person to reach</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> the top sets a new</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">record for</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> the highest a person has ever</font> climbed<font color="#E5E5E5"> if only by a few</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> nanometers</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">anyway since the Himalayas are literally</font> made out of sediment<font color="#CCCCCC"> that was on an</font> ocean floor<font color="#CCCCCC"> that got scraped</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> off</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> onto</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">another continent when its own continent</font> was being subducted<font color="#E5E5E5"> it's no surprise</font> that<font color="#E5E5E5"> there</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> are marine fossils on Mount</font> ever it does present<font color="#E5E5E5"> a problem for</font> creationism though because<font color="#E5E5E5"> the way flood</font> deposits work bottom-dwelling marine creatures would not have been swept up to<font color="#CCCCCC"> the mountain tops but</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> down into the</font> valleys<font color="#E5E5E5"> so their presence on a mountain</font> is completely unexplained by a global <font color="#CCCCCC">flood</font> and that's ignoring the fact that<font color="#E5E5E5"> they</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">exist as if they were</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> just</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> going on</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">about</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> their normal lives not being swept</font> up<font color="#E5E5E5"> in a flood</font> now if<font color="#E5E5E5"> you've read the</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> Bible it's very</font> clear<font color="#E5E5E5"> the Bible says that there was once</font> a flood and<font color="#CCCCCC"> that</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> the flood covered the</font> <font color="#CCCCCC">entire</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> earth there was water over</font> everything<font color="#E5E5E5"> there are four things</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> that</font> lived in water got up<font color="#CCCCCC"> high</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> you're overly</font> simplistic explanation is quite wrong when looking at the actual<font color="#CCCCCC"> science</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">that's just simply not how floods work</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">the entire world was not flooded land</font> was showing but this was found in<font color="#E5E5E5"> the</font> top of the Grand Canyon<font color="#CCCCCC"> wait what</font> I'm<font color="#E5E5E5"> confused when did we start talking</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">about the Grand Canyon what did you find</font> at<font color="#CCCCCC"> the</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> top of the Grand Canyon</font> are you<font color="#E5E5E5"> confusing the Grand Canyon with</font> Mount Everest<font color="#CCCCCC"> or color="#E5E5E5">being ignorant of the flood or rather</font> ignorant<font color="#E5E5E5"> of how pretty much every</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> field</font> of<font color="#E5E5E5"> science demonstrates rather</font> conclusively that<font color="#E5E5E5"> the flood never</font> happened<font color="#E5E5E5"> when you have all kinds of</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">evidence for it in
