than the one he wielded himself joy use has been changed over the centuries parts added and removed as it was used for different types of coronations this has led to many disagreements on whether the blade actually belonged to Charlemagne has many parts date to the 10th century not Charlemagne's time of the 9th century number one curved saver of san martín the curved saber san martín was wielded
