[Music] in August 2011 a vacationing couple from Windsor Ontario named Andrea Smith and Jason Watson took a photo in front of the railing of the horseshoe falls at Niagara Falls from the Canadian side of the Falls the couple can be seen happy and smiling in the picture not knowing what's about to happen to a young woman wearing a red sweater who is clearly seen in the background standing on top of the rock barrier the woman identified as ano tokuma su a bubbly fun-loving 20 year old international student from Japan she had been at the honza Language Center on Eglinton Avenue East for about two weeks on August 14 2011 tokuma su and a friend were visiting the famous tourist attraction around 8:30 p.m. Sunday surveillance footage from a visitor's center showed her climbing over a safety railing to pose for a photo when she tried to climb back up she slipped and toppled over local police and fire crews searched the water below the falls in the days after the accident but failed to locate her her body was eventually recovered on Thursday August 18th when an employee of Cave of the winds and attraction in Niagara Falls New York spotted a body in the water and notified authorities a day later at the state park police confirmed that the body was tokuma SUSE her death sparked warnings to tourists at the Falls not to climb the railing but just two days after her death tourists were still peering over the railing and getting dangerously close to the ledge there was even a young girl spotted climbing up the railing so a mother could snap some photos of the child in front of the famous scene a Niagara region police officer decided to spend the next few days at the popular viewing site reminding tourists to stay safe and stay well back of the potentially fatal ledge on midday July 4 2019 a man named Renan Estero Balladur AMA went to castor a Lavar National High School and Mazzilli Columbus City and Laguna Philippines caught on surveillance camera Vala dorama can be seen carrying a backpack and wearing a red baseball cap and a white t-shirt for a while he is loitering and walking back and forth in the corridor of the school building as if he's waiting for someone and then a couple of times he is seen talking to some of the students in the corridor at first you would think that maybe he's just looking for someone inside the school it seems the students didn't think he is dangerous and appeared to trust him as they are seen calmly talking with him but the reality is Valderrama is full of anger inside his mind is poisoned with jealousy and something horrible inside the classroom including valid Arama who was seen holding a gun from his backpack it is reported that valid Arama a 35 year old security guard shot a 15 year old grade 7 student named Mark Anthony Miranda in the head in front of his classmates Miranda was rushed to a nearby hospital and was first declared brain dead by doctors but eventually died around 409 p.m. three months earlier mark Anthony and Valderrama were allegedly in a romantic relationship and lived together for a few months the two were introduced in March after which Valderrama offered to a dot mark Anthony and sent him to school according to the Colombo police Valderrama had been marked Anthony's guardian ever since the boy's mother was detained for possession of illegal drugs because he was the students this picture-perfect photograph a tragedy is soon to happen Doris and John Rael met at the University of Georgia during a winter storm Doris was then a cheerleader and John was a young aspiring golf pro the two were immediately in love and right out of college they tied the knot the young couple then moved to John Wells hometown of Douglas Georgia where Doris gets a job as a schoolteacher later Doris and John would become parents to two daughters and one son John Ben started doing business and built a family amusement center called John sports park it was a success and the whorl family couldn't be happier then in 2002 the couple met a young girl at church fifteen year old named Paola Garr berry an immigrant without papers from Venezuela Paola had been abandoned by her guardian aunt and found herself on the church's doorstep homeless Doris immediately helped Paola by letting her live in their house Paola fits right in helping with the younger kids and working side-by-side with John at the sports park after four years at the age of 19 she became one of the family everything changed on Wednesday September 20th 2006 at approximately 11:17 a.m. the Coffee County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 claiming someone shot his wife at John's sports park on Thomas and Drive in Douglas Georgia deputies arrived on the scene and found the body of doors where he'll aged 39 at the scene she lies dead and a pool of blood and shot once in the head point blank there's no sign of a weapon and no sign of a killer John and Paola had allegedly scheduled a general cleaning at that Paola alone and sometime between 9:40 and 11:00 Doris was shot to death when John returned at approximately 11:15 a.m. he found his wife's body and called 911 there were video cameras in the park however the shooting took place in an area absent of surveillance coverage Paola was seen on video in another section of the park at the time the shooting took place so she obviously wasn't the shooter it is reported that when police arrived at the scene they found Paola hiding in a tunnel she said she was afraid she said she wouldn't come out of the tunnel during the murder investigation police found out that John had many affairs with at least three young women and Paola was one of them on May 2nd 2007 immigration and customs enforcement agents arrested Paola at a restaurant in Douglas because she doesn't have legal status she was taken to Alabama where she was held for nearly a year pelas arrest in a large part and attempt to get her to tell what she knew about doors is murdered and documents obtained through an open records request and dated May 2nd 2007 then Waycross Judicial Circuit District Attorney Rick curry dropped two bombshells the DA claims Paola is withholding crucial information in a murder investigation and writes John Rael is the main suspect in the murder of his wife ice never released Paola the agency deported her in early 2008 to Venezuela during pelas immigration proceedings John Rael moved to Fernanda Beach Florida with his children interestingly in March of 2008 two former sports park employees Gildan Rodriguez and Brandon cage were Petersburg Florida police received a chilling 911 landy the harrowing call ends quickly Randy did not have time to tell us address so dispatchers couldn't locate his area exactly fortunately Landy's roommate called 911 said that Landy's boyfriend Jonathan asked her where Landy was she wasn't at home because she was away visiting a family so she called Mandy multiple times but no answer she went and checked the footage on the security cameras in their home and found that they had been cut off that's when she called 911 to do a welfare check she also said that Jonathan the current boyfriend of Landy told her he received a shocking text message from Landy saying he changed his mind he wants to get back together with Jose an hour later after Landy's 9-1-1 call police finally located his location and detectives immediately noticed signs of forced entry leading them to suspect an attempted robbery police saw broken glass near the doorway a television had been taken off the wall and is now sitting on a table inside the house a large number of items computers clothing stacked up together near the door which did not appear to be normal police believe that perhaps someone startled the intruders and they shot Landy and bran leaving the items behind on the second bedroom police noticed a damaged doorknob and found landy lying on the floor dead he had been shot once in the back of the head near his ear and a second time in his chest police then found a trail of blood leading to one of the bathrooms in the bathroom cops found instruments of torture the water was still on there was blood everywhere a knife and a bottle of Drano sitting next to the sink it was in total disarray the sliding glass door is to the shower were off the tracks leading police to suspect there had been a struggle used duct tape was also found detectives continue to search the crime scene and found a cell phone they believed Landy used to call 911 hidden underneath the mattress of the bed that Landy slept with when police checked the phone they found a chilling video of Landy speaking in Spanish and pleading for his life and when the tape was translated into English shocking Clues emerged in the video Landy makes a statement in Spanish that when it was translated loosely it says Jose was never the problem that Jose was wonderful and that he was very sorry for all the problems that he's ever caused in his life according to detectives Landy also said in the video that he was no longer in love with current boyfriend Jonathan Landy can be heard using a Spanish term called papi police later learned that that was a term of endearment that Landy had used towards Jose police said Landy was tortured for two hours then the attackers put him in the bedroom while they ransacked the house during those moments alone Landy managed to free himself and call 911 attack him and shot him to death after a week of the investigation police went on to search Jose as a prime suspect they believed Jose tortured and killed Landy out of jealousy and revenge and the police are convinced that he was the one filming the chilling video on December 27 2011 police finally located Jose Adam a and arrested him according to police he enlisted the help of his 16 year old nephew named Leo enticing him with the promise of televisions video games and computers police also found that Jose was the one who texted the break-up messages to Jonathan pretending to be Landy Jonathan found the text messages shocking so he called Landy but he was not answering his phone eventually he called Landy's roommate who then called 911 a Adam a was found guilty of first-degree murder he is sentenced to life in prison though Jose's nephew claimed in court that he helped kill Landy no charges were ever brought March 2014 and September 2016 76 occurred in India and most of the victims were reported to be young people in India most selfie deaths are related to trains which was due to the belief that posing on
