I have seen her live twice. Best female latin performer in the business at this moment. Mon is the only alt/indie act this decade to make it big in Latin America
She often gets called the Latina Amy Winehouse, which is unfair because I think she is way more versatile than Amy was (had the fortune to see Amy in 07).
She sings anything from alternative rock, rockabilly, metal, pop, cumbia, ska, salsa, bolero, heck she even has a hybrid rap/mambo song on her latest album.

Check out her show, you'll be entertained. Reading some of the mock lineups I'm surprised that some have Rosalia ahead of her. Mon has gone on tour with Juanes and played at Madison Square Garden and the Forum in Inglewood. While Rosalia literally has like 3 shows in the US and none in Latin America in her career. Rosalia might be big in Spain but in the Latin community in the US and in Latin America she is unknown to most people outside of music critics and hardcore music fans.
One of the first artists I came across when exploring the lineup. Really hoping to make it to this set. The latin crowd vibe is gonna be electric.
I've been obsessed with her song "Tu Falta De Querer" since the lineup came out.

I happened to catch them at Tropicalia last year while waiting for Chicano Batman. I was pleasantly surprised, not a set I would typically go see but they had a lot of great energy.
Definitely worth checking out! She is an AMAZING live performer. I've seen her 15+ times live and never disappoints. She will be at The Yost Theatre in Santa Ana on April 18 as part of Goldenvoice's April shows and I wouuld highly encourage anyone that can make it to go check out her full show. Hope I can make it out to Coachella to see her perform as this is a huge accomplishment for her.
