This afternoon, we are hearing from the family of 12 year old Jocelyn Nung. She was found dead in a bayou earlier this week. Now this comes as police continue searching for the people responsible. Victor Hao joins us live from near where Jocelyn's body was found in Victor. I understand you spoke with Jocelyn's mother this afternoon. How is she doing? Yeah, that's right. Alexis Nung, the mother of Jocelyn says she is devastated but she is praying for justice. However, at this time, right now, what exactly happened to Jocelyn remains a mystery both to her mother and to police. What we do know from police is this investigators are looking for these persons of interest. Police suspect foul play as they say, Jocelyn died of strangulation. Her body was found in a bayou near the 400 block of rank and road early Monday. Jocelyn's mother speaking with us this afternoon saying she looked for Jocelyn Monday morning but couldn't find her only to have Jocelyn's phone located in the area where her body was found. She says she has no idea who Jocelyn could have been interacting with, but that her heart is broken. I'm like angry that they just, they took advantage of her. She's so young. Well, you took my baby away. Now I get to let her know her sister and Deb are coming home now, Alexis, who you just heard from there? The mother of Jocelyn says she hasn't gotten any more updates from investigators today about what has happened or what the status of the investigation is. But she says she is blown away by the support of friends, family and the community following this tragedy reporting in North Harris County, Victor Haab show you love news.
