Moken 12.5 V2 setup

ah hello everyone is Matt Shepard new channel I'm starting right here gonna be about fishing bass fishing cat fishing bank fishing pond fishing Creek fishing river fishing and mud puddle fishing if that's what we want to do but uh all seriousness talk y'all try not to pay too much about this I know this mug right here is all ugly and everything so it'd be alright it's my book I'm the one who got to live with it but anyway I just want them get this channel going up and running with a video gonna share my kayak my setup with you guys and uh but before we do I want to say one thing to mr. Chad Hoover if you just so happened to catch this and see it or something gets charity away whatever we want to me personally I would like to thank you for your service to this country I'd like to thank you for your leadership your dedication and uh everything you do for the sport of kayak bass fishing and uh we really appreciate it I know I do every video you pose that I try to catch and uh not anything but me saying trying to brag on me watching your videos or anything but I'm just saying I wanna thank you for your information that you care and all of that appreciate a man without further ado let's get on into my video uh with the my set up in my kayak golf day women now okay everyone and here is my yak and this is my set up its to feel free mo Kim 12.5 v2 version to the v2 it comes with some upgrades seat upgrade has a removable part you can tell I've got some stuff I've done to mine to make it suit my needs I installed the yak attack lever lock heavy-duty anchor trolley and I parried that with the low profile ankle Whizzer I don't run this chute I feel like I don't I don't need to I just take him run my inker through the loop and put the ankle where I want to put it I added a couple of Jack Attack Omega probe rod holders one over there one over here and I've got the gamma striker + sv unit got up I use the bending branches angler Scout 250 paddle I'm six foot this is a 33 inch wide kayak and the 250 is perfect for me okay happy transducer mounted on the bottom as you can tell plenty of storage on the inside I can I can put two rods down in this hatch on each side it does the trick for me got my PFD got my whistle on it got them a little flashlight on it and I got my knife on it I'm gonna say this you guys do not wear your PFD being hard quit trying to look good because it there's no excuse for not wearing PFD you might think you do but you're looking stupid and you folks would be real upset if something happens to you and they have to stand over over you what you and your casket and looking at you you they're not gonna be thinking oh he looks good laying down in the casket you know wait a few months down the road and see how good you look when they did get back up and open the casket back up you're gonna have holes and worms all in you so don't be hard hit it wear your PFD now doesn't matter really if it's a cheap one I'd say get the best you can afford I got the best I can afford this is just the old master sportsman but at least I got a PFD and I wear I wear it every time I go out I'll make sure I do not leave without this oh I got a little girl and if anything happened to her daddy it would tear her world apart and I love that girl and I cannot see me leaving and going on a trip without this right here I want to come back home and see my daughter with that being said I got got a ho hat to protect my noggin home one row get hot on shining down on top of that oh he got my sunglasses keep keep that handy with me everywhere I go I don't really use much as far as lures I use up mostly all I use is soft plastics and on soft plastics have served me well throughout my years of fishing and I carry a little bit of everything I got smooth Yamamoto I got havoc creature baits and some flutes and all that and I got some lizards and some worms and so what's up in there some more horny toads these things right here wow man awesome just some more trailers and stuff gotta use like I said I don't use much as far as lowers I have some that I'll throw every once while I got a few jigs and I might throw a trailer Bay to treat your bait or something like that on on jigs but as far as my tackle goes I mainly all I have is terminal hooks weights up some leaders in here things like things of that nature I got a I have a few rules not a big selection like I said I I don't use much and I'm show you what I use this is what I use right here listen and this is it that's it I got a few frogs in here [Music] crankbait lipless crankbait home of Hoppus my jigs and that's about it man that's all follows my Lewis election goes that's it I I can honestly say that whatever people are catching using laws I can catch them on this right here on my sauce on my plastics with that being said man that's that's my yak that's my setup that's what Oh with rubble Lake Creek streams this is it man the feel free milking 12.5 version - got some camera some GoPro cameras coming in tomorrow going wait till they get here and figure out where I'm gonna mount them I'm probably going to mount one up here on the bow I'll have it facing back towards me and I'm either gonna have one on my chest so we can look out and wherever I position my body when I turn it'll be facing wherever I'm facing all my mounted back here my bring up amount may be said it right here or something and I put it in heaven looking over my shoulder then like I said they come in the ball and I could have waited until they came in the mall before I did this video but I just wanted to hurry up and get a video out there on my channel it's been a while and there's only one other video on this channel and it's when I had my fella c'n ultimate angler se7 side kayak and only used at one time and uh I knew I had to upgrade to something else I've been kayak fishing for approximately six years and I never really dove in I loved at the moment up I got inside one but I never dove in to actually buy on one until back in January and I bought one about that a pelican angler ultimate angler and I've used it one time and I I said man I got to get something else so then I went over there and I bought the Pelican catch 100 and I fished that probably about five times and all that's the DC County Act it's a it's a barge to paddle but it's a good stable kayak this thing right here just Moken and it I wouldn't be scared to put this thing in the ocean then somebody an old loud car going up you're out here trying to film a video who would have thought but anyway I'm not scared to put this moping in the ocean I put it in lakes rivers creeks streams and their paddles that performs awesomely I stand up cast fish all day long set down seats extremely comfortable I said in the river whip them anchor down with my legs over the side I do a lot of catfishing also that's one reason why I got the old mega Pro rod holders so I can just suspend fish you know I said in the rebel with my feet hanging over the side and just chilling totally comfortable I argues the seat back I believe man and and take me a good old nap out there and I feel completely safe well but I'm not gonna do it without my PFD you better believe that but uh yeah man that's it hope you all liked the video hope y'all liked my set up leave a comment subscribe hit the like button do whatever you want to do you know appreciate ya'll watching or once again like to thank Chad Hoover and y'all have a great day thank you you
