MLW Wiffle Ball's Hall of Fame Garage | Behind The Scenes

[Applause] going on everybody is Kyle Schultz and Tom McCall go from mlw wiffle ball back with another behind-the-scenes video for you guys here today over the years you guys have saw a lot from Colts Field you know it's in our original field from 2010 all the way 2017 but what you guys may not know is that we have an mlw Hall of Fame garage and we are very excited for you to see it today basically in this Hall of Fame garage there's a ton of different things including memorabilia old bats and balls player awards trophies don't want to spoil too much we're gonna get in there and check it out let's go take a look [Applause] all right so here it is we've got a lot of stuff in here ranging from bats balls trophies defense equipment and foul poles and whatever but I want to start it off well over here so this is kind of like the retired bat section the first bat I want to get to is my favorite bed of all time and Tommy do you remember the name of these things still upstairs paint lots doing amazing that retired brand but one of the best brands ever this is my favorite bed of all time 2013 Wildcats bat I believe I hit 40 homers and one year with this thing my favorite bat of all time Dan of course loves his old Eagle Sandlot stick Oh classic blue bat you'll blue bat Dan Dan use this back in 2010 bolts plastic [Applause] and another one a fan-favorite the broken Atlantic Astros bet I don't know how they do bad got broken broken and rage I think probably broken raids probably not a homeroom because obviously they're trash team but moving up this is our big old bag of you know broken wiffle balls probably good probably 100 in here most game use oh yeah I'll give you 65 these on our merch site for 10 bucks we sign of me Daniel Connie sign let me give them away but the bag keep taking them out that's all go on top you've all come out that's awesome what is that there this is pretty much where all the good stuff is so we got all our World Series championship trophies we have retired bats and balls broken bats and stuff like that so I guess going over here up until 2019 we used like this old mic that has seen better days it's obviously destroyed now so we threw it out the Hall of Fame that I'm like obviously it's not this is literally like a gutters box and like a toilet paper roll and like one of those little ology as a kid when you're playing like how do you play the ball pit play a little bit alright so moving along here we got some you know some unique wiffle balls and trophies this one's one of my favorites it's a sign wiffle ball from whiffle boy 28 as if you guys don't know he's like a big he was kind of like an inspiration of us way back in the day he does like pitching bull pen tutorial videos and all that kinda stuff probably if you're one of the fan you've probably seen that video it's like sick with a ball bright yeah he's one of the pioneers of wiffle ball and you guys have probably seen his videos it's like sick pitches if not just go look him up with a boy 28 so we met him once in Ohio like a couple years ago and he's a really nice guy and he's trying to win football for us in the back you guys can see some home run derby trophies and an MVP trophy of mine and also a wiffle in the mint in 2018 championship trophy just some individual awards I guess I'm talking about that bat right there does a black Sandlot stick and you're talking about earlier with the old bats but this one in particular that one 2012 season we played like in the December I want to say and got a little cold and brittle as you can see I think Kyle was the one who hit a ball and it just completely broke the bat just snap the bat and a half the barrel up flying into the outfield so we're here to play the rest of the World Series was a different bat that's probably not been somewhere different like that oh yeah oh my I got this thing on Dunham's when I was like 9 or 10 years old hard plastic you could rock the ball at this but nothing it's illegal now for sure because this thing hits above this plums so right here you have a selection of our tournament trophies whether that's Twinsburg or this one's our New York one for 2019 and just some various ones like sports sports barks we did that one two years ago we like our home a trophy put on meeting the ones of the people on display here and look at the homemade ones lives you never can go wrong with the big bright and shiny ones you have more home on Derby trophies I would say a 2016 1 and 2018 trophy some old backflips you that you saved yeah this is actually my 2018 back grip when I want my World Series seen better days obviously but got no nostalgia factor for me when me here I can tell you won that World Series has to display that this ball right here I believe is a twin sport of all right yeah this ball is the final out of the 2016 Twinsburg World Series so you know it's got that sentimental feel the way because I got a first championship like Donald I mean I was a big deal as our first I would turn right now I know it's exciting a great year for us great view but the blessing that wasn't only Charlie were playing in and like the previous year we lost in the semis so the hole you're looking forward to a great right so this one actually was the Prez bet last year if you guys go back and watch the videos you'll see the Preds use this fat flick the first half of season even into the playoffs but then I think for the World Series they use mild bet oh yeah but the reason this is snapped is because of Zach key rock at the whiffle and the mitten tournament he actually was swinging and because of those big biceps of his he literally put so much torque on the bat that's a handle literally just snapped in half like I don't know I don't know what happened I don't know what happens so there's literally like I was mad for the Preds to watch your grip strength I was mad for the press because they were rolling with this bad I'm like pure rock you just busted their mojo but it didn't bet it didn't turn out the matter they went on to win the World Series anyways but this thing is just busted everywhere I don't know if your act into it but snap this thing in half now my favorite part of the mlw Hall of Fame our World Series trophies as you can see here if you want pan up you got all of them actually not all of them I didn't say I didn't win all of them or Tommy or Daniel the ones we don't have here are the central Cardinals trophy that they wanted 2013 and then the Pacific Predators won last year their respective managers have those so the ones you'll see up here are only the ones won by the Wildcats Eagles and mallards some of my favorites are the first one we ever made 2010 it's actually hung up I like just a coat hanger we told you never like bring the trophy Aptos 21 and he was like 9 and he runs out like an excited little 30 games he lost and it's super hilarious [Music] one of my favorite ones was the 2014 trophy because it's like the first one that kind of like resembles like the MLB trophy where they've got little flags one of my favorites and then going along here you got 2015 wildcats 2016 Eagles 2017 mallards and 2018 Wildcats eight of the 10 World Series trophies here [Music] to come up here one quick thing this is just an old strikezone centerpiece here we've had the same kind of outer structure of PVC pipe for a very long time the PVC will last you forever I must subtract it somehow but this is just some old low material I would really call it leather everyone asked us about this we could get it at Home Depot what would you call it like on niches blue leather a little leather it's very it's been enough finish strong enough and then you ever rip it you can just duct tape it up in there and we've probably gone through like seven of those as you can see these are all like retired leather strike zones even in here under the all the wiffle balls you have like three more so I'd say like once every like three years we have to like put in a new one once every two years maybe all right spread moving to the garage here we got some more of some supplies now so this is defense that's at the meadows we bought this last year and it's been a great friend so far very professional-looking very sturdy you got the clips of Johnny beam going through the wall and this thing barely took a hit you know it's got the good Springs in the back but another cool thing I like about Colts field and that we always did back in the day is we have this little window here so every time he'd be raining and I had a film game and I knew film games would like take stats I'd watch it through this window and as you can see here I would just pull this back have a nice view little boxy of the feel about the box seats yep so I've watched I did I would literally just like watch games in here I thought it was so sick of like I was watching like a press box or something but what am i little Colts feel that I love these are like the original banners we hung up you see the Cardinals they're all faded now though they're very colorless but you know every one of them from the 2010 to 2016 season I believe there's a staple of Colts Field and something I really love so we had to make sure to keep these [Music] still here baby just a piece of paper what a beautiful piece one thing missing from this wall would be the YouTube plaque which is kept the YouTube plaque the 100,000 subscriber plaque we don't keep in the garage because it's a very it's a very you know precious thing to us and it's a little cold out here now you get you know cotton flying in here bugs in here so we we want to keep that as clean as possible so we keep that inside not in the garage because
