MLB Heartwarming Moments

before the game mike trout as usual signing autographs for some young fans and the reaction priceless how excited that young fan is with his mike trout jersey that big off that's what makes baseball and mike trout that reaction is absolutely fantastic trout made that youngster's day trevor williams congratulations uh fantastic stuff what a night there's dad boy couldn't be prouder what a moment ron washington likes to work he always has guys out on the field for early work and not just his players you heard him mention the bat boy here in philadelphia his name is edward he actually is a second baseman in shortstop at a local community college and he said ron had asked him for help with something and edward said all right well can you do me a favor and ron said what's that and he said can you help me with my backhand so ron put this kid to work the last three days has had him out on the field there was an elderly woman that was hit in the head and as the marlins came off one marlin never made it to the dugout d gordon went over to check on her and she gave him the thumbs up and gordon was there for a good long time he has since headed to the dugout he's got to because the marlins are hitting now ozuna lifts one to right took one off the side of the head and gordon returned and brought out what looks like an autographed bat chop foul outside a third [Music] oh isn't that nice somebody's made a friend look at the little girl looking at him now i want to play catch with austin meadows hey kid you can't just bring a sign and expect a big leaguer to play catch with you wait a second how about that i guess you can wow is that cool you might have a bigger glove than austin too nice well done and then afterwards after you play catch bonus you get a baseball and a high five from his new hero austin meadows down the right field line and it'll run out of play nice that was nice of him that is very nice of that young man oh my god i think we can go home now yeah we've seen everything dad gave it a look and this ball flies up and out he took him deep [Applause] goes into it whether it be allen with the sox players or he's alex knows he's waving to his dad who wants no part of him at this point he won't even make eye contact with him zero go away i'll see you i'll see you later at home maybe next year hey hey dad you want it ah there it [Laughter] down the left field line slicing away from young and eric to the side wall can't make the catch as he went into the crowd and made a friend nice effort by eric young and the young man might have gotten the worst of it well you gotta appreciate the effort by young who almost tried to steal that from a fan but look at he lands on the little one there in the front row mariner fans getting to meet the met hello [Music] you
