Oh man this feels like forever ago...we were getting our asses handed to us early...the comeback absolutely is the reason WS game 4 didnโt faze this team as much as we worried it would, glad they got to prove themselves with some sort of adversity this post season it was incredible to watch
In the NLCS, Keekay had 2 HRs with 1 being in Game 7 and was batting .308 with a 1.126 OPS. Huge.
Lmao Canโt believe the Braves blew a 3-1 lead. That NLCS was one for the ages. I used to like Acuna Jr before this series but whereโs your little celebrations at now mother fucker? You shouldnโt have gloated until you won the series you piece of shit. Lost respect for him when he jawed off to my boy Gonsolin after pitching him inside. Not everyone is out to hit you, check your ego. Now I see why the weak ass Marlin kept hitting this guy. Respect to Freeman though, that dude is a stud of a hitter. Glad we beat that smug ass team.
Check 31:05. That's CT3 being tagged out at home with the infield in on a grounder. CT3 is one of the fastest players on the team, but he wasn't even close which shows how elite Mookie is when it comes to secondary leads and timing. Maybe Albies' throw is too good and it would get even Mookie out, but I'd be willing to bet that Mookie somehow has his hand touch the plate before the tag gets applied.
It's pretty fucking crazy how everything changed after that Mookie catch/Ozuna TOOTBLAN in game 5.
And I agree with what others have said, it was this 1-3 comeback that gave the team the composure to fight through the game 4 disaster.
Watched the whole thing. Felt like an eternity ago, itโs crazy.
Iโm so gonna watch this right now haha. I stopped watching after Game 4, I just couldnโt stand it any longer but I kept checking the app and Dodgers Nation twitter.
Hot take: This doesn't happen if its a regular year. We were absolutely better suited for 7 games in 7 days
So much stress being down 3-1 but in the end it makes the recap so much more wild and entertaining.
