Miranda Kerr’s 40th Birthday— A Celebration of Aging

I'm Miranda Kerr I'm about to turn 40 and so I'm reflecting on some of the influences that have really shaped my life becoming a mother to my three beautiful healthy boys is really the most incredibly rewarding experience of my life I remember when I was pregnant with Flynn I was quite nervous about bringing this little life into the world and I feel like that's normal for a first-time mum to have those like nerves but with heart and Miles I've felt a lot more relaxed and empowered being a mum has its challenges for sure you know not all days are so easy but I really try my best to be patient and kind and nurturing being a mother has taught me that I'm so much more capable of more than I actually thought I was capable of more love more patience more resilience and I just learned so much from them every day being an entrepreneur a few things that I've learned along the way are really to trust my gut and be able to say no sometimes you have to say no be able to say no when you know inside of yourself that that's not the right path I also learned to not be afraid to ask questions it's really empowering when you can actually ask someone for help the advice that I give to my youngest self about getting older life is incredibly precious and beauty is so much more than Skin Deep my grandmother really just had that little Sparkle in her eyes and she lit up the room it was just like this bright energy because her heart was shining so brightly being present and being kind and leading from my heart is so important for me I would also tell my younger self that it's important to have a flexible mind I have this philosophy we should all try and be like a willow tree so metaphorically speaking having that flexibility with our mind is something that can really help us in life instead of being so rigid because if you think about it in a storm the oak tree is more likely to break because of its rigidity and the willow tree is more flexible and bends with the Wind so I try to be like a willow so what am I most looking forward to in my 40s and Beyond I'm just really looking forward to continually growing and evolving every day as a mum as a wife as a businesswoman I just love to learn I learned so much from my kids too I just love seeing my boys grow up and experiencing the world through their eyes and I'm excited to see the adventures that they have ahead of them I hope that I can be the heart of our family just like my grandma was the heart of our family and I really hope that I can be that for my grandchildren one day thanks for watching I'll see you next time
