to that 50,000 now last we left everybody you use one of those special lifelines here on whiz kids week and that is cut the question so you've got to look at 150 thousand dollar question you cut it now you're gonna get a look at the second and final $50,000 question but you still have two more lifelines you're 50/50 and you're plus one which you can use on this next question all right you're ready to go yeah let's get back into the game let's get to fifty thousand dollars let's play Who Wants to Be a Millionaire here's your new $50,000 question born almost exactly 50 years after the Civil War someone who is 100 years old today has lived through roughly what percentage of US history 11 percent 25 percent 42 percent sixty one percent so Warner almost exactly 50 years off is a civil war so well I think civil war I think about 1863 ish so let's just say that's about 1913 so if he was born almost exactly 1913 someone who's 100 years old today has lived through what the what percentage of US history so so 1776 is when the United States started or that's when the Declaration of Independence was signed so that's kind of when America gained is Independence 1776 is how much about so I think 240 years the United States has been independent so 240 and someone who is 200 years old today 240 so 100 over 240 so all up to do is find the answers divide wait so 100 so why don't you add a so pretty much what I did was I just took out the I just focused on or I took away the least our highest digit and then counted how many there are so if this will say 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 that's 17 okay so two lifelines 5050 and plus one and even years I think I have an idea so if I say let's just take see that's about 10 billion okay so if I have 10 billion but multiplied by itself one how many zeros I have 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 so 10 zeros I have and then if I were to multiply by itself you have one easier I guess it's the closest to well you see 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Wow okay 16 oh wait nevermind okay so it fits B then it's 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 so 8 times 2 is 16 because I don't know how to explain it if I'm multiplying by itself I had would have 8 zeros so if I were to multiply 100 million by 100 million you would have 16 zeros you just multiplying the number by 2 so I'm guessing that's kind of what you do again I'm gonna go with C I'm just to check my third is third and fourth kind of debate over between United States and China I guess sir I don't know why if I remember correctly I think the way I remember this is Brazil's fifth largest in population as well as an area so I think that's why I'm Everett the best Argentina's auctions in India that's not right India's bigger so a and D are out B I'm not sure see I think I'm pretty sure
