know not that it's anything spectacular but you know just been getting questions for the longest so you know i just i just felt the need of my spirit right after i got off of work um you know to share the information so man man appreciate y'all appreciate all the love and appreciate y'all for joining me seriously i know i'm acting but seriously i seriously appreciate it so uh i'm gonna get on to the purpose of these live videos which is to show y'all my setup for the many requests that i have gotten over time and never took the time out to honor those requests terrible person uh-huh but uh yeah this is pretty much my setup i'm in an apartment i would play for y'all you know hook up everything so you can hear crystal clear got my mics already and everything but i'm in an apartment so you know how that goes trash but soon i will actually i'll be back into a house so i can't play um so my setup where do i start i guess i'll start with the kick since it's the closest thing to me um on my kick my backside oh my god the of course y'all see it's red because i'm i'm an extra individual in this i'm not you know i'm not ashamed about it what sucks can you do jose up hey all right pause from that i'll get back to my purpose in a moment speaking of my socks i actually got these socks on i just went and put them on before i started this live because i looked at my ankles and my uh my knees still out a little bit but y'all ain't gonna see my knees but anyway just in case i accidentally zoomed down make sure y'all didn't catch that so that's that's the story behind the socks don't judge me all right back to this um so yeah on my kick like i said i'm extra so yeah it's red i'm clear whatever it's remo um p3 i think somebody asked me why i went to switch the remote earlier um but i have been with like um i've been using who was it evans thank you for that name evans oh no i seriously forgot the name um i have been using evans for probably like what 9 10. probably about 11 12 years i have been on evans um remote was actually my first snow aquarium where my first head is when i was younger um my dad actually got those for me rest in peace pop um but as i got oh a little bit older i started playing remo um and stuck with those until like probably like 12 11 10 11 years ago when i started using evans um and don't get me wrong i love evans man they i'm trying so sweet but for me um i don't know if i was like playing like sticking wrong like or what but just the durability was just trash for me and i remember playing remote and i'm jumps well i had some pin stripes on my old kit uh my first real kit and i'm joined just lasted for so long um and then i always loved the sound of remo never diminished this sound like i said i love evans jungle mother sounds great they sound amazing but uh you know that was it was just a durability for me honestly um i don't know who testifies to that i may be the only one to testify to it that's my story and i'm sticking to it but uh yeah that's why i switched switch back to the um to remo man and um i think i'm here to stay back home but yeah i got the p3 on my um on my kick on the back side um don't nobody judge me because i had a chance to switch it out yet but on my battery side i have i still got the the onyx emad with the 9 000 pedal but yeah i got that like i said don't judge me oh and since i'm talking about evans i still have it on my 13-inch tom um and that's mainly because i haven't i literally haven't used this joint in probably like three four five years so it's it's literally just been sitting there that's a that's a brand new head i literally put that head on there and it's just that you can see there's there's a few scratches uh from when i was tuning it which i'm sure it sounds like trash right now i'm not gonna leave it yeah uh yeah that's a new head um so those two will be the next switch outs um my setups 8 10 13 16 22 inch kick i know y'all thought i was going to say 18 14 16 but it's not 18 13 16 it's the um it's the rock series um so it's kind of kind of dope um distinction of sounds though between with that 10 going to that 13. it's kind of dope um snare of course i told y'all i thought about it wouldn't actually be playing so i stopped actually setting up stuff and put that mic down but uh i got the power stroke p77 joint that joined us max so heavily p 77 on the um on the dw snare performance snare for all those snare questions that be popping out on my videos you got a god give and give playing drums like i checked out you man jerry yo jerry poor i definitely i appreciate that bro seriously man i appreciate all positivity because i'm a positive being um tom's p4 8 inch p410 bypass that amazonix p416 um ants right there and then you know people y'all always ask me about how running my sound so it's basically the same setup don't judge my board either oh but that joint puts out believe me um but uh yeah it's a yamaha uh what h yeah got a little stereo you know for the double challenge game if you advance like that i'm not but anyway i got that i have that running um i have my interface coming over to my macbook which is showing beautiful landscape pictures making me wish i was there um i got the rolling spdx drum pad um what is this i don't even know what this mic is sorry about the camera i'll be back in a second who's the m400x uh oh yeah audio tech for the snare for now um and i actually just got these joints on the toms um they're called pow p y e um them joints they're pretty sweet i'll excuse the background images over there kids room but yeah i got them joints uh the piles on the toms i actually have the power on the kick as well um pile overhead overhead mic got two of those i don't have the other one set up um oh what am i playing these this is the the mapex mars pro series i've had these joints for like 12 13 years haha yeah by pastor edward's pride uh the hhx groove hats 15 inch um i used to hate big hi hats but got these joints man and you know i've just been 15 inches paws ever since uh anyway sabian of course hx if you are a drummer you should know that already um this giant right here is the sabian aax arrow 20 inch mom what's up bro um andrew i appreciate bro um what is this i for lost my train of thought oh saving hhx evolution and another thing let me let me tell you because i know i got joseo butler on top of uh what is this this one actually this one on the bottom is the same thing as this so it's a that 18 inch arrow on top of the hhx 19 inch evolution both of those are broken but they make a beautiful couple pretty sweet yeah you'll see yeah so i just took that in experiment and it worked out it sounds really good when it's actually played um i know not a lot of cats down these joints version with just the volume um what lows means and highs and your main volume so what i did was i had my irig irig 2 you can get these joints for y'all that don't know um you could get these joints off for amazon any music store oh camera for everybody uh iraq 2 is the one i have this end goes of course plugs into your phone um and if you have an iphone xs max you might want to make sure you have that headphone extension piece or else you'll be out of luck uh and then i have a quarter inch card um that plugs in from near and goes to i think it was the output yeah the output or headphone well i ain't gonna say headphones because i never tried it with the headphones i don't want to mess up your sound so i'll say quarter inch card from near to the output on your mixing device and it automatically picks up the sound that's not coming from your phone but it's coming directly from whatever your mix is um so that's how i got the sound and the sound quality from those videos and with this it'll be pretty much the same thing um i'll probably it'll probably be coming from i don't know focus right more than likely an interface uh um but yeah man that's how i got that mix you know and myself we're logic pro x i need to get into youtube and studio one did i say youtube or pro tubes i think i'll say youtube if i did say youtube i mean pro tools um but i need to get in pro tubes audio one i keep messing up this name pro twos and studio one ableton i actually have pro twos in ableton but i just hadn't tapped into the dreams um but logic that drink i got on logic man and i haven't turned away from it since i fell in love instantly so for me it's so easy to maneuver man you know um i think i want to get more into like ableton for like live sessions um but yeah that's pretty that's my setup and you know nothing major but it's mine and i like it i love it and i want some woody yeah spdx nine pads over there is it nine yeah that's not um dw you know if i can zap these joints into some dw i would don't give me wrong moment sound great but i love somebody w man they're just so expensive um what else oh y'all want to see what kind of drum i'm just playing uh i'm gonna today that what listen that ain't for everybody but if you know how to tune them i never had a hybrid snare here before but i'm i might order one hey listen them joints are amazing and they laugh i like bright yellow pearl kid um but it was that video the actual kit that tony royster was playing on in that video um it's a snare showcase loving man i appreciate all the love man and all the positive all the positive words uh i seriously do um but um i got you babe i got you baby um this joint it was actually the the the actual snare from the kit that tony royce was playing in that video okay y'all say hi you got it info favor ain't that shout out bye oh but um actually one of my homies was from or is from hinesville and um he was real cool with tony's dad who like you know had so much stuff get rid of some stuff that tony um was cool whatever and this snare was one of them joints that actual snare so this snare is if it was on the market it'll be it'll be worthwhile over probably it'll probably be about 2500 the price of a a kit um i actually got this joint for five hundred dollars because of my homie um being the connect uh you know i'm saying shout out to bubba think god came down and put gold on his neck and he ordered up the designs this thing i love it because of the sound i hate it because it's like working out every time you pick it up this snare is so heavy i don't know if y'all can see it oh but on the top well you're that glass trash but anyway both of these are gold um bars now you can literally take them joints off out of the snare they're gold bars that go around on the top and bottom and the reason that this snare is so heavy i love it and i hate it sound wise nothing else to talk about i actually just put edge on there a few months ago my cut into my heads and popping my heads like so that's why i haven't been playing this one um but yeah remote coded not caught it but um remo emperor and of course the p coded p77 standard p77 coded on that sucker and this one i showed y'all earlier it's a funny story with this one too not as long but i actually won this snare uh somebody hit me up about a competition or something that was having um this drum page was happening on instagram and i went on i've never i'm i'm talking about literally never won anything so i just went on there for the heck of it i did it and i actually got a notification one of the homies hit me hey bro you won it's like one would i forgot about it the one what where you understand i'm like no way for real stop playing with me but went on there and i won man uh so this joint is the dw performance for a free snare you know not even for a free snack just in general most of y'all don't see this now amazing dw performance it's not hidden like like his cousin uh what is the emperor or the ambassador on this one and of course the p77 coated standard coated on here so um yeah man those these are my five snares oh and my setup so man that's you know
