sunday morning amen hallelujah whenever we gather together the name of jesus anything can happen today is there anyone here that wants an experience with jesus christ today where nothing else matters about the presence of god amen let's go lift up our hands and we're going to pray right now we're going to enter into his case of thanksgiving lord jesus we praise your great name god we thank you for the holy ghost we thank you for your blessing over this place and over this congregation god we pray lord jesus that you would have your way in our hearts and our minds god that you heal all sickness today jesus that you feel everyone that needs the holy ghost with your spirit god that your name would be glorified today in this place we worship your name god we want you to have your way lord if you love jesus make a joyful noise clap your hands shout hallelujah hallelujah god we praise your great name how many believe this morning [Music] [Music] depending on your promises of you oh if you alive and he is the god of the living so you're alive [Music] you make your way back to your seats my mother and father were told very specifically by the doctors that they could not have children impossible well you're looking at an impossibility this morning my dad went to the lord and said god if you will give me a son i will name him matthew because it means gift from god and within three months my mother was pregnant with me and when i was born they named me brian matthew smith our god is a miracle-working god and i don't know what your need is in this house today it may be bigger than you but it's not bigger than our god amen amen we're going to give you an opportunity to give this morning how many has god been good to praise the lord if you need an envelope if you will raise [Music] is what amazing grace looks like [Music] amen are you thankful for the amazing grace that god brings amen there's nothing nothing in the world that can compare with the love of god in our lives has been shed abroad you know it's fascinating how that we can get become so distracted by life and fighting the wrong battles that we can miss on god's plan of salvation i believe it's in matthew 26 when jesus was being arrested in the garden and the servant of malchus was standing nearby and simon peter swung his sword and uh missed his neck and hit his ear took his ear off and uh jesus turns to him and although it's recorded in three of the four gospels this in matthew's version he he asked matthew the question or he asked peter the question he said you know don't you think that i could call angels down from heaven if i needed them i don't need you to fight that kind of battle and in doing it in fighting and becoming distracted by the battles of life he missed out on the plan of god it was just just a short while later that he would deny the lord standing around standing around the fire in the courtyard and his his heart wasn't ready yet he was ready to fight ready to go to war but he missed out on what god was doing i think that we're living in a moment of history where we can become so engaged in fighting and battling and we're living in such a contentious hour uh a divisive hour that that it's easy to be distracted by all those battles and miss what god is doing in this moment i don't want to miss god's plan for our life we just need god to open up our eyes amen just open up our eyes to what's really happening around us the provision that we need it was in genesis 21 where hagar was uh had left abraham and it was in that moment of desperation that that the lord opened up her eyes and she saw a well of water and sometimes in our moments of desperation what we need to praise god just show me what's really happening here i said all that to say that in in the past few days the world has been on edge because of of what is happening all across the country of ukraine and uh it's so easy if you're not from there if you're not connected with anyone from there so easy to distance yourself from the turmoil but we actually have have a lot of connections with the country several years ago when we took our choir to poland to record our project there there was a large group that came from the ukraine to be a part of that recording we got a chance to meet them one of the churches there and make some connections and many of them watch our services they listen to revival radio and they feel like they're a part of us even if sometimes we forget that we are connected with them not only that but we have several apostolic churches quite a few apostolic churches in the country of ukraine and so i thought it would be good that we take just a few moments and we pray uh for the country of ukraine i want us to pray for three specific things first i want us to pray for peace i want us to pray that god would bring peace uh to the country that his hand would would resolve any issues that are there the second thing i want us to pray for is the protection of our brothers and sisters apostolic one god jesus named churches all across the country let's pray that god would protect our brothers and sisters and those churches that are there but then the third thing that i want us to pray for is i want us to pray that god's glory would be revealed in all of this chaos how many have discovered that sometimes when trouble comes that god can somehow work it for our good amen and i don't i don't understand it at times i don't understand i can't claim to know the mind of god in every situation but i do know that god is able to take even the worst of situations and his glory come out of it and and revival can be the byproduct of what all what they're facing today so if you would i as an act of faith i think it's good just for us to do something i want you to stretch your hands out towards the west right now and uh everybody here filled with the holy ghost just stretch your hands out to towards the west and let's pray amen i'm sorry to the east forgive me to the east let's stretch our hands to the east and let's pray that god would would uh meet our needs and meet the needs in those three areas god first we ask that you would bring peace to this situation i pray that you would bless them god resolve the political conflict god i pray that you would silence the bombs the missiles god bring peace to th that situation there god i also pray for our churches there our brothers and sisters god they are family and we pray that you will protect them god many are gathering in services right now lord jesus gathering in churches for protection i pray that you would let your hand cover them protect them from any danger bless the churches there god we also ask god that your glory would be revealed in this bring revival to the nation of the ukraine lord help us jesus in jesus name we pray god do what only you can do we thank you for it in jesus name in jesus name amen amen let's thank him for what he's going to thank the lord that you have heard our prayer in jesus name amen the ministry association that i am licensed with uh has several connections in the country of ukraine and they are able to get uh funds directly to those churches so in our service tonight we will be receiving a special offering whatever god would speak to you and we want to just do our part to help them in some small way many of them right now are having to uh pay exorbitant exorbitant prices for food and uh some need fuel to get their country or their their families to places of safety and we want to be a blessing to our brothers and sisters imagine you know the freedom that we enjoy right now all suddenly being taken away and we're fighting for our lives and we're struggling and we're we're trying to decide if it's safe to go to church and gather it together in a building that's what they're worried about today and uh and i want them to know there's people here that maybe they've never met but there's people here that love them and uh we we want to let them know that we we support them so remember that in the service this evening amen i want to take just a moment and just greet all of our guests personally if i haven't met you yet my name is rob mckee and i'm the senior pastor here at the pentecostals and it's an honor to have each of you with us in the house of the lord if you're looking for a home church you're you know you're trying to decide is this the church i don't know about all this well first of all i hope you've already found it i hope you feel like hey this this feels like home but if you're unsure still i encourage you to do what we call stick six because in six services you'll get a good picture of what we're all about what our values are what our doctrine is you're never going to get a full picture of a church just by visiting once so we encourage you just to stick six services and at the end of that time you'll be able to make an educated decision and i certainly hope that you decide that we are uh we're the church for you i do want to uh before i i introduce our special speaker this morning i want to say it's also great to have uh donna here with us donna gerber donna where you see this martha good to see you this morning [Applause] this is a great day to serve the lord and i'm so excited about all that's happening in the church and the revival and growth that are that's happening and uh just so thrilled um about all that's that's going on i do want to remind everyone about tomorrow night tomorrow night this is something we have just uh started last month and i want to remind everybody about it tomorrow night we have a church-wide prayer meeting we're only doing this once a month and so i encourage you to be a part of it again we will be praying for the country of ukraine all of that but we're going to have family prayer tomorrow night so as part of our family night we're going to be gathering together and having a time of prayer and so it will start at 7 30 you can come dress casual it starts at 7 30 ends promptly at 8 30 only one hour it's just a great way to finish out every month and so remember remember that well man it's so good to have our special guest with us today and he is one of our favorite evangelists and uh i say that and i i feel like i need to confess even though we have we haven't been treating him like a favorite evangelist it's been a really long time since he's been with us and he's made me feel really guilty about that but i'm gonna to be fair several years ago i reminded him this morning he he got sick in the middle of the year and and so he broke the rhythm he broke the rhythm so just soothes my conscience a little bit i'll take whatever i can get and uh but we are so honored to have brother mike easter here with us today and uh he's gonna be a blessing amen and it has been a long time since he's been with us but again tremendous preacher of the word preaches all over the united states camps conferences uh it's just a tremendous gifted man of god and we are so glad that he's here with us today and comes all the way from newport news virginia thank you and uh it is uh it's so good to have him here in the house of the lord amen now just a little a bit of trivia you remember when we had the james wilson concert how many were here for the james wilson concert his daughter i believe this is right was one of the background singers for that okay so um we ought to get some kind of credit for that [Music] so anyway but we are we're so glad to have him here lord willing he will be speaking in the service this morning he's already preached once today and uh spoke in our minister's class as well as greeted our spanish congregation and uh and then he'll be preaching in service this morning again tonight and he'll be leaving tomorrow if he's still alive i mean he's we're going to wear him out today but we're so glad that he's here with us would you put your hands together and let's welcome evangelist mike live in him we move in him we have our being he's the reason that we are gathered here without him we can do nothing but with him all things are possible hallelujah praise the lord i greet you in that wonderful matchless name of jesus christ and give honor to pastor sister mckee for their wonderful invitation and the opportunity to be here with you all as i look across this congregation i'm looking at some of the greatest people on god's earth you are all very very special to the lord amen i'm looking at folks with testimonies that will blow your mind as to where god has delivered you from and to where god is guiding you to go we are a blessed people hallelujah we are a blessed people and more now than ever before we've got a lot to bless god about today i want to invite you to go with me to the old testament in the book of scripture is the book of second chronicles the seventh chapter [Music] beginning at verse number 12 when i'mma read verses 12 to verse 15. of second chronicles chapter 7. the word of god is just as fresh as this morning's news it is a living word and it is for us today let's hear what the lord will speak to the church this morning beginning at verse number 12 and the lord appeared to solomon by night and said unto him i have heard thy prayer it's a wonderful thing when god hears you pray and have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice if i shut up heaven that there'll be no rain or if i command the locusts to devour the land or if i send pestilence among my people if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will i hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land now mine eyes shall be opened and my ears attempt unto the prayer that is made in this place god what are you saying what do you want to speak to us today god is saying i'm watching you i'm listening to you i want to move upon you but it's all based on one little word if if for the next few minutes i want to speak to you on this topic if the biggest little word in the bible if let's pray together holy spirit of the living god there is none like you we desire your will we desire your ways more now than ever before now god we acknowledge your presence you say where two or three are gathered you be in the midst and we acknowledge that you are here now almighty god let your anointing touch every ear to hear every heart to receive every eye to see and lord i pray that when this service is over there's not one person that'll leave here the same way they came in do a mighty work among us almighty god [Music] challenge us change us touch us but more than anything save us this is our prayer today as we wait upon you in jesus mighty name and let the church say amen let's give the lord a great handclap of praise as we are open to receive the bible says clap your hands all ye people shout unto god with the voice of triumph hallelujah holy spirit have your way glory to god glory to god god bless you and you may be seated if the biggest little word in the bible hallelujah the bible teaches us that god is a god that answers prayer everything that concerns you concerns him the promises that are in the scriptures the writers said all the promises of god are yea and amen and we have claimed to every promise that's written in this book but there's something we need to be aware of this bible is not written just for anybody and it's not written just for everybody this word of god amen is only for those that are willing to obey what's written we come to the lord with our cares we come to the lord with our laundry list of things we want god to do in fact god invites us to come to him and so we come very often god i need a blessing god i need a miracle lord i need an answer to prayer but there's something that have come to my attention recently and that is this though we come to god with so many needs and so many requests we are now living in a time where god is not like a genie in a bottle that we can't just say abracadabra and it's done but now we're facing a god that is looking back at you and i and god is saying i know you have needs and you know that i am well able to do exceedingly abundantly above whatever you can ask or think however it's according to the spirit that is working in us if you need something from god it's got to be according to the spirit that is working in us in other words the things that we require of god whether or not we receive them of god depends on whether you and i are willing to meet the conditions that god have set before us if if the word if is a conjunction word it introduces a conditional clause it tells us that on the condition or on the supposition that in the event that you do your part god will do his hallelujah if you desire to be saved i mean who in their right mind don't want to be saved who in their right mind don't want to go to heaven oh i remember some time ago i was in a church a man probably about this size and i asked the congregation a question i said who in this congregation want to go to heaven how many in this congregation want to see their names written in the lamb's book of life raise your hand don't don't do it now don't don't don't do it now but but i'm just telling you what happened if you want your name written in the last book of life you want to spend eternity walking the streets of gold raise your hand up high and pastor 99 of that congregation put their hands in the air 99 you say 99 yes because in every church service you're gonna have some knuckleheads amen in every church service there's gonna be some resistance there's always gonna be somebody in the congregation that's going to have their arms crossed and the legs crossed and the eyes crossed and sit there and say i don't see why i gotta raise my hand i don't see why i gotta get up and shout i don't see why i gotta praise the lord like that i don't see why i can't wear this and i don't see why i can't go there and that's the problem you don't see that's that's what the problem is you just don't see it hallelujah and the other thing is everybody wants to go to heaven but they want to do it on their terms they want to do it their way but i'm here to tell somebody there's only one lord there's only one faith there's only one baptism there's only one god there's only one church there's only one gospel there's only one way and he is the way hallelujah you need what you need from god you've got to meet the right conditions you want to be saved you say you want to be saved you just can't get saved in the old kind of way you can't just raise your hand and repeat after me prayers amen you just can't confess with your mouth and believe and all that you just can't do that you got to make sure you're meeting the right conditions if you want to be saved first you got to meet the condition of repentance amen in luke chapter 13 and verse number three jesus said i tell you nay but except you repent you shall all likewise perish amen repentance is a condition you just can't say god i'm coming to god because i feel like coming to god or i feel guilty or i feel this no the lord said you got to repent you know what repent means a change of attitude it's a change of direction you can't live for god with one foot in the world and one foot in the church you got to meet the right conditions hallelujah he said except you repent you're not gonna make it so repentance is a requirement to meet the right conditions there's another condition that is very important if you intend to be safe you've got to meet the condition of water baptism amen now all this talk about water baptism don't save you and order baptism just some practice of the church or some added blessing no no no jesus said in mark chapter 16 and verse 16. he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved if you want to make heaven your home you need to go down in the water in the name of jesus christ there is no other alternative you gotta make sure you meet the condition amen good intentions will not save you you've got to be ready to meet the conditions the lord went on to say but he that believeth not shall be damned see this one thing about the lord i appreciate so much he shows you both sides he said if you go this direction you're going to have blessings you go this direction you're going to be cursed if you go this direction heaven is going to be your home if you go to surrender you're going to be in the lake of fire you're either saved or you're not you're either in or you're out you either believe or you don't believe i'm telling you my brothers and sisters the lord made it clear if you believe you will be baptized if you get baptized you shall be saved and if you refuse you shall be damned pretty simple isn't it be saved or be damned which be will you be you got to meet the right conditions repentance they want to say repentance water baptism there's another condition you must meet paul told the church in romans chapter eight and verse number nine but you are not in the flesh but you are in the spirit hold it if so be that the spirit of god dwell in you now if any man have not the spirit of christ he's none of his it doesn't matter what you say it doesn't matter what the tv preacher said it doesn't matter what your grandma said paul said if you don't have the holy ghost if you do not have the holy ghost you don't belong to him if you want to belong to him you got to meet the condition you got to meet the condition you got to line up to what god declared you need to be filled with the holy ghost oh glory to god i'm telling you my brothers and sisters if i hadn't met that condition you can meet it today today you can repent of your sin today you can go down in the waters in the name of jesus today god can fill you with the baptism of the holy ghost to get you ready to get you ready for his soon return if if [Applause] all the promises of god are based upon you meeting the right conditions you can't just blab it and grab it you can't just name it and claim it you just can't walk around and say no matter what the bible says i know i'm saved and you know you got people that attitude i don't care what you say preacher i know i'm saying hallelujah but you better meet the right conditions somebody say if so god's promises are conditional they are based on your obedience to certain conditions someone had done the research and found out there are around 100 and 500 verses in the bible that contain the word if that's a lot of times if the biggest little word in the bible 1500 verses and i want to talk to you i want i want to talk to you about some of these verses but i promise you i'm not going to go all 1500 of them we'll be here all day long but i do want to highlight just a few from the old testament and a few from the new testament if the biggest little word first we're gonna go to the book of beginnings the book of genesis the fourth chapter in verse number seven this is where cain and abel were presenting their sacrifice before the lord amen genesis chapter 4 and verse number 7 begins with that word if it won't say if if thou doest well shalt thou not be accepted and if thou do is not well well guess what sin is lying at the door and unto thee shall be his desire and thou shalt rule over him what's what's going on here abel and cain are presenting their sacrifice unto the lord you know the bible tells us to present your bodies a living sacrifice holy and acceptable that's your reasonable service when you come to god and present your body there's a way it's supposed to be done you know you just can't come into god's presence any old kind of way you just can't walk in here all careless and nonchalant this is a holy place this is holy ground hallelujah god is in this place so so i have no doubt in believing that god amen had instructed adam and eve how to approach him in their sinful condition and adam and eve passed it down to their sons cain and abel when you approach god there's a certain way you've got to approach him you got to meet the right conditions what is the proper way to approach god you got to come to him by the way of the blood you've got to bring him a blood sacrifice and so cain and abel approached the lord abel came first he brought the first thing of the flock abel brought a lamb sacrifice abel shed glory hallelujah the blood of the lamb i said he shed the blood of the lamb is the blood of the lamb that makes the difference hallelujah oh no other sacrifice will do you gotta bring him the blood of the lamb god accepted abel's sacrifice now as cain's turn cain you come forth and bring your sacrifice now cain was a farmer and cain had all these vegetables and fruit and he was so proud of himself so cain said well well when i approach god i'm gonna i'm gonna bring him my best head of lettuce i'm gonna bring him my best tomatoes hold on cane god send a blood sacrifice i ain't worried about that i'm gonna bring him my best and god is not concerned about your best god wants your obedience he wants your obedience cause you can never be good enough you can never bring god best enough god wants you to simply obey him hallelujah but but cain no no i'm gonna bring him my best letters my best asparagus my best cabbage no blood and god said let me tell you something if you do well if you do well if you meet the right conditions you will be accepted but if you refuse to do what you're supposed to do you're gonna have a problem sin is crouching at your door now sin wants to rule you but now you gonna have to overcome sin that's why so many people struggle every day that's why people got so much drama in their life that's why they're up and down and round and around because they're not meeting the right conditions they're trying to please god in their flesh they're trying to please god on their own terms and it's not going to work hallelujah you got to meet the right conditions if if if you do well you will be accepted let's look at deuteronomy chapter 11. deuteronomy chapter 11 and verse number 22 if the biggest little word in the bible the 22nd verse of deuteronomy chapter 11 starts like this god says for if everyone say if watch the language of the scripture if you shall what's that next word i can't hear you if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which i command you diligently not just when you feel like it not just on the weekend but if you shall diligently put some effort into it keep some of these commandments are y'all with me keep all of these commandments which i command you how do you want me to keep them do them do them don't just sit here and listen do them not only do them he said look i want you to love the lord your god somebody say i love the lord i you don't love god i love the lord god looking at you and saying uh the only way you love me is that you gotta walk in all his ways and cleave cleave unto him you're so tight holding on to god that there's no demon in hell that can separate you from your conviction no demon in hell i can separate you from your determination i'm gonna walk with god if i gotta do it by myself i'm gonna praise him if i gotta be the only one in the building i'm holding on i'm holding on hallelujah that's what god is looking for diligently keep his commandments diligently love him with all your heart walk in his ways and hold on hold on with a death grip hallelujah and then god says if you do this if you meet the conditions then then will the lord drive out all these nations from before you and you shall possess greater nations mightier than yourselves if you meet the right conditions you're gonna live victorious if you meet the right conditions god's gonna drive out your enemies from before you hallelujah he'll cause you to walk in the light as he is in the light you will have victory you will have an anointing you will have your purpose god wants you to have all of this you got to do your part why we struggle so much why are we fighting the flesh so much why are we constantly battling lust of the eye less of the flesh and the pride of life why are we constantly struggling because you're not doing your part you just want god to do everything without you meeting conditions oh hallelujah isaiah chapter 1 isaiah chapter 1 verse number 18. oh this has got to be one of my favorites isaiah chapter 1 starting at verse 18. we're going to look at verse 18 and verse number 19. the holy god of heaven the creator of the universe the mightiest of the mighty what is he saying to you today come now come now let us reason together but you god you can do anything you want i know i know but i want to talk to you i want a reason with you i i want you to get a sense of what this is all about come come on now let's reason together now what's going on lord though your sins be as scarlet the deepest stain that could ever exist they shall be white as snow you mean me yes you because things are done it don't matter what you've done the things i've been through don't matter what you've been through oh god nobody else giving me a chance i'mma give you a chance hallelujah it doesn't matter though your sins being scarlet i can make them white as snow [Applause] glory to god though they be red like crimson they shall be white as wool god you'll do all this for me yes i want to do it for you i love you i ain't come pointing my finger at you i'm coming hey come on to me come to me i love you i want a reason with you i'm your hope i'm the answer to your question i'm the one that could bring you out but god my mama don't want me don't care what your mama don't want i want you my daddy gave up on me it don't matter what your daddy did i want you but my friends don't worry about your friends i want you come unto me come as you are but you won't stay as you are you got all kinds of sin all kinds of bad things you done done in your life but what can wash away my sins nothing but the blood of jesus what can make me whole again nothing but the blood of jesus what can change my world around the blood of jesus what can bring me out of my addiction the blood of jesus the blood you need the blood somebody say god is able he's able he's able to fix your situation he's able to change your life if someone say if wow i want this is it possible is it possible yes it's possible if the next verse says if if you meet two conditions if you be willing and if you're obedient you shall eat the good of the land everything god has prepared for you he wants you to have it if if number one if you're willing you got to be willing nobody make you get saved can't nobody make you get baptized can't nobody make you turn your life around you gotta be willing you you gotta want it you gotta want this hallelujah look look look you gotta be so sick and tired of the devil in your life that you're not gonna give him another second you know what that's it devil i'm done with you you didn't had your time i am over this jesus jesus i'm willing i'm willing you got to be willing your number one enemy and ain't the devil your number one enemy is not the spirit of the world your number one enemy wearing your shoes your number one enemy is looking at you in the mirror it's your wicked prideful arrogant rebellious will [Applause] hallelujah amen number one you got to be willing it never it never fails to amaze me you can present the gospel and show people their need of salvation and when it comes for them to make a decision they halt they hesitate they procrastinate i'll never forget pastor i was preaching one service man i mean the holy ghost was moving i felt god flowing in that service i mean i preached i was soaking wet through my clothes i gave it everything i had and i looked out in the audience and people were moved tears in their eyes folks shifting in their chairs waiting for me to end it so they could come forward and i gave the altar call i said now the ball is in your court if you believe move forward people start coming up to the front and i know there's one guy that was sitting in his chair and he just like like a stone just sitting there and i'm watching him and i knew he felt it and i'm thinking to myself there's no way in this world anybody in their right mind can turn away from god after a message like that so i walked down to where he was people all around praying he just sitting there so i made my way my way down to his seat and i looked at him i said how you doing bro yeah man i'm chilling man i'm chilling i said uh did you hear me preach oh yeah yeah yeah yeah good sermon man it was a good sermon i said do you believe what i preached oh yeah man i believe it man i believe it i said why haven't you come forward why don't you give your life to god he said well well i know what you said is true and uh you know i want to be heaven i want to go to heaven man but you know but you look man i'm just not ready yet oh i wanted to slap him so bad what do you mean you're not ready you you're not ready for joy you're not ready for peace you're not ready for what is wrong with you the devil is a liar the devil is a liar you are more ready than you think you are hallelujah you are ready but the problem is your will god said number one you got to be willing and secondly you got to be obedient because you can be willing and still disobey amen i've seen those in church i want to go up there i want to go up there hey are you going up there i'll go if you go you go i'll go you going they want to go but seem like they can't do it disobedient and then there are those that are obedient and not willing amen come up here to give your life to god in your face like you've been sucking sound pickles all day come on give your life to the lord what's your problem don't you know this is the greatest thing that could ever happen to humanity this is the answer to your problem this is the answer to your dilemma this is the key of life whoa hallelujah it's something to shout about it's something to rejoice about it's something to be hallelujah someone say if f f f f isaiah chapter 48 isaiah 48 verse number 18. if if isaiah 48 verse 18 the lord said oh oh if thou had only hearkened to my commandments then thy peace would have been like a river and your righteousness as the waves of the sea the new international version says if only you had paid attention to my commandments if how many times have you talked to people and you said if you only listen if you only have taken my advice you wouldn't be in the mess that you're in if you only obey god 20 years ago how much different would your life be now now your family is all jacked up your children all messed up your life is in shambles all because you refuse to listen how many friends from back in the day do i have they witnessed my transformation they knew when i got in church they all stood back and said give him time give michael time he'll be back at the club he gonna be back out taking drugs just watch him they still watch it they still watch it ain't nothing changed hallelujah ain't nothing worth going back there for they've seen the transformation they bear witness to his blessings hallelujah i got a testimony god is alive god is well god is a keeper of his word and here we go 20 years 30 years later and you look at them now some of them boys still sitting on the corner 40 years later never left the neighborhood lies all sm just messed up if you're only listening someone say if now we're going to go to the new testament and bring it down to a close in the new testament just a few verses with that word that powerful word if john chapter 14 verse number 15. hallelujah john 14 and verse number 15. jesus is speaking if you have that in your bibles i want somebody to read it out loud everybody if you got it read it out loud read did you did you just read that jesus said if you love me you're gonna meet the conditions what's the conditions keep my recommendations that's how some people look at it keep my suggestions keep my commandments that's that's if you love me if you don't let me do what you want to do how you want to do it now we got folks that live for the devil 24 7. was quick to say quick to say i love the lord i just love some folks even sing the song and you can sing a lie just as much as tell it i love the lord who are you trying to convince yourself you're trying to convince yourself i love the lord me and the lord we tight no you're not see the problem with a lot of people they create god in their image they create their own god the god they serve he ain't the same god in the bible he's something you don't conjured up you don't love him if you're not doing his will that's what jesus said if you love me keep my commandment are you keeping his commandments don't say nothing don't don't say nothing but ass answer that question in your own mind are you keeping his commandments are you living the way he wants you to live some of you don't even know how he wants you to live you love me keep my commandments the next verse john chapter 15 verse six and verse number seven oh it's going to get sticky right here jesus said oh that look at that little word if jesus said if wow if a man abide not in me that word abide means dwell live exist if a man abides not in me he is cast forth as a branch and is withered and men gather them and cast them in the fire and they are burned and god don't mince words he means exactly what he says if you don't abide in him if you don't dwell in him if you don't live in him then you are withering it doesn't matter when anybody else tells you god said you withering if you don't dwell abide in him get ready for the fire if everyone say if here it is if ye abide in me and what else lord and my words abide in you oh it's a two-way street yeah yeah you gotta abide in him you gotta live in him what it means walk in the spirit talk in the spirit live in the spirit don't be a casual christian don't take your salvation for granted don't go by chill bumps you gotta walk in this thing you gotta talk in this thing you gotta hallelujah god wants authenticity you gotta live in this dwell in this jesus if if you abide in me and and my words abide in you my words abide in you oh my my my you got to have the word living in you you got to have the word this book dwelling in you and as i look across the church i see a lot of deficiencies hallelujah i see a lot of people living for god on emotion living for god on feelings yeah yeah feelings nothing more than feelings you come to church and you base the service on how you feel how did the preacher preach yeah he was all right i didn't feel nothing yeah you lost something wrong with you it's not about emotion it's not oh glory to god i feel the holy ghost this is not about feeling this is not about how you feel hallelujah you gotta hey saints you gotta had a word living in you you gotta have the word dwelling in you it's a condition that we all must meet and it's not for leadership it's not just for for the elders and the and the deacons it's for everybody it's for everybody it's for everybody it's for everybody amen you got to have his word abiding in you now now somebody help me understand how can his word be living dwelling abiding in you when you don't even bring it to church amen we have gotten so careless that we come to the sanctuary without the word i was in a church service one time and i said church all of you got your bibles raise your hand cell phones went up everywhere that's a trick of the enemy the bible says this book this book this book of the law this book of the lord the book shall be open this cell phone shall be open but my bible's on my phone yes but a hundred other things is on there too we need to get back to bringing the sword to the battlefield we got to get back bringing us up thus saith the lord i'm going to bring the word i'm going to have the word i'm going to have a relationship with the word it's gotta live in me it's gonna dwell in me i gotta love it i gotta appreciate it i gotta have a relationship somebody say if my lord have mercy jesus said if you abide in me and my words abide in you then you shall ask what you will and it shall be done ain't no cutting corners ain't no getting around a curve ain't no doing it a shortcut god said these are the conditions you can ask what you will then but no we want to bypass that lord i need this lord i need that lord i need this god is saying i want something from you you got to meet the conditions amen it's your reasonable service two more verses first corinthians the 15th chapter everyone say if first corinthians the 15th chapter verse number one and verse number two listen to this the apostle paul is writing to us today moreover brethren i declare unto you the gospel which i preached unto you which you also received it somebody said hallelujah and wherein ye stand by which also you are saved uh-oh here comes that word if if don't just stop there you are saved if you keep in memory what i preached unto you unless you believed it in vain you're saved if you don't let go of what you got hallelujah in this pulpit there's been so much gospel preached from this pulpit so much spiritual information have been given we've heard enough preaching we can go out and save this whole town this is not a place to be entertained by the preacher this is not a place to come and see a show we don't even have to preach to y'all no more you got enough acts 238 you got enough how to tell people what to do but the problem is don't forget what you heard don't give up on what you heard don't let it go in one ear and come out the other don't just shout and jump here keep on shouting and jumping when you get home don't forget hallelujah don't forget who you are don't forget what you are don't forget what you've been called to do don't forget god's way is the only way don't forget seek out the holiness after which no man shall see the lord don't forget don't forget don't forget jesus said don't forget the apostle paul said if you do this then you will be saved we need to embrace what we have i remember good old days after we heard a sermon we go home and play the tape listen to it over and over again good old days good old days saints be sitting in the church with their bibles open with pens in their hands underlining scripture oh that's good that's good preacher oh yeah that's good a circling highlighting it in their bibles amen participating in the teaching and the preaching on with their word in their laps hallelujah because when you mock your bible when you underline your bible when you write notes in your bible no other bible gonna do because that's your word hallelujah and that word will talk to you that word i get inside of you that word will challenge you and you're not soon to forget what you heard see the devil want you to be comfortable in church comfortable that you're bringing your bible to church man that's a burden my bible too heavy man i remember dave's people used to bring the family bible to church i mean they'd walk in a big old family bible but now you know it's too inconvenient the devil is a liar hallelujah we gotta get back to meeting the right conditions the last one the last one second corinthians chapter five verse number 17 if if oh man oh god help us get ahold of this second corinthians chapter five verse number 17 the apostle paul tells the church therefore because of all of this if any man be in christ he is a new creature all things are passed away behold all things have become new if everyone say if if it's only based on if you meet the right conditions if you are in christ then you are a new creature not not a better person anybody can be a better person not not not a new year resolution hundreds of people make resolutions no no no no it's deeper than that you are a new creation i mean your dna is not of this world you don't even belong to the human race ah you're from a whole different experience ah you got a new home and you got a new father and you got a new purpose and you got a new destination it's not what it used to be what what are you what are you you're a new creature a new creation there's no other race talk about race everybody want to talk about racist racism you are a member of a race that's not even on this planet oh hallelujah you can call me any kind of racial slur you want but i'm not even a part of that cause i don't even belong hallelujah you can't touch me with that you can't touch me with that hallelujah i'm of a race you don't know nothing else if only only if if if you are in christ you do not entangle yourself with the affairs of this life i don't care who's in the white house i don't care who's conservative i don't care who's liberal i don't care who's a republican i don't care who's a democrat i am not of that i am i'm an ambassador of jesus christ my kingdom is not of this world else my servants would fight but we don't fight we don't protest we don't sit in an argument because we are not of this world somebody shout glory yeah some people got attitudes already some people got attitudes already amen well i don't know about all that i don't know about it but i can't just sit back and see injustice i'm not going to sit back and just not say anything what they say silence is violence amen you need to speak up you need to say something you need to make a point here we need to know where you stand you don't know where i stand at i've been in this thing for over 40 years and you want to know where i stand what's wrong with you i still stand where i stood 40 years ago i stand on the word of god i don't have to prove nothing to you i don't have to say anything to you i'm accountable to him i'm accountable to him oh hallelujah i'm a he's not impressed with your best he wants your obedience obedience is better than sacrifice now more than ever before you think you think something's not going on in the world the whole world is in turmoil the whole world is looking for answers the whole world is suffering in darkness the whole world is on alert we had a pandemic like we've never experienced in human history you think it's over i don't see anybody wearing masks so you think you're safe you think it's over so you want to go back to church as usual ain't normal church as usual and can i tell you something it's not going to get better the bible says it's going to get worse and worse and worse and if you don't meet the conditions now a day is coming where you're going to decide okay i'm ready but god won't be there my spirit is not gonna always strive with you god is striving with you now lukewarm christian god is striving with you weekend christian god is striving with you and those that have never been saved the spirit of god is striving with you let's reason together come on let's sit down and talk this over come on come on i got something for you i got something for you i got something for you the holy ghost is place knowing you've obeyed the word of the lord amen you're here today and maybe you didn't come up to the front maybe you didn't you know you're still not comfortable it is important to do something to take a step of faith i'm going to give you three things that you can do before you leave this building today to start that journey maybe you know my life's not right with god i need to get my family right my marriage has fallen apart i need god in my life three things that you can do is a good next step out of the four you're following service there's a table out there you can sign up for what we call our our membership experience or pastor's reception it's just a chance to meet uh and sit down and talk there's there's a meeting once a month and we just meet with all the new people for that month and we talk about what membership is all about and you can connect with us there you need a pastor in your life so it's important to do something take a small step of faith that's what god will honor james says faith without works is dead so when god speaks to you it's always important to do something the second thing you can do is sign up for our small groups you need friends in your life and so small groups you're going to connect with other believers and other people that that you can uh you know you can count on times of weakness and struggle and trial you need godly fellowship or you can sign up for one of our bible studies all three of these things are great but even if you just do one it's it's important and it it does matter amen it's always it's always helpful that when when god begins to speak to you to mingle some action behind your faith that's what resurrects it amen i'm so glad to see everybody here if you're praying continue to pray but i believe that god was in this today thank you brother easter i want my my walk with god to be sincere i don't want to just [Music] live in a shallow experience with god i every promise of god every blessing of god he situates just on the other side of our act of faith amen every miracle the new testament if you look you'll see that before he does the miraculous there was an act of faith that someone performed that he responded to he gives the promise to abraham but that he tells him you've got to come out from among them you're going to leave your family and follow me so really it's it's god that gives the promises but it's you that makes that decision if i will do what god told me to do god will give me the benefit the blessing the birthright amen it is so good being in god's house today i'm asking brother justin gage to come and he's going to pray a prayer of dismissal and after he's finished praying you can consider yourself dismissed in jesus name we're honored that each of you are here if
