takes look gotta take this pain with you and bring that with you to the winter training cycle you gotta bring that with you to Spring ball to summer training camp [Music] you gotta run with it it's now or never this really got to be our year what's gonna fuel us we do this upcoming season [Music] I appreciate that it's my bad I even got the shades to look quirky too the camera clap it how I'm moving forward this year is just continue staying process oriented always thinking about the next best action I could take in order to improving myself and better in myself [Music] obviously the number one goal is to win the national championship we have to go get it go too you know it's just a repeat you know you know what I'm saying so beat Ohio State beat Michigan State in the Big Ten Championship repeat be a sponge learn what you can all right biggest goal as a defensive line this year how can we make the quarterback fear us how can we impact them you know how can we stop this game everybody really instilling our four pillarism to us uh block destruction communication ball disruption and others constantly honing on those each and every day focusing on the little things fine-tuning those things because those are the things that show up at the biggest moments every day you have an opportunity to get better wake up go to sleep one percent every day just find something that's going to make me one percent better everybody has a competitive mindset everybody wants to get better at the same time we're taking care of each other and we're also building that Brotherhood with each other I want to be one of the best teams to ever play this game we have the potential to do it we have the talent to do it we have the dedication and commitment and hard work to do it it's all about just putting it together and executing the plan this is like a whole 365 come into this program because obviously The Season's in the fall but it's all year round because you know you're starting the winter cycle training and then Spring ball you know that's the whole process as well that's a journey after Spring ball that's when it starts to kick in you get into April May June then it's like that summer cycle and then obviously you know once it gets to August it came on it's once August hits is Camp and then that rolls right into the season in the school year and that goes all the way you know until November December so there's really a whole year process so that 2023 Journey has already started to our coverage of the Wolverine spring game today the Wolverines will continue their preparations for the 2023 season Saturday spring game was a chance to come together and show off the work that has been put in over the winter and early spring in those opportunities is huge just for me and for everyone else to capitalize on that and be more comfortable in those environments far sideline kill Johnson because you know it's a big ten no matter what it is when it is you got to be ready Ro lines are great going against them it just makes you so much better you know everyone says iron sharpens iron but it's it's true these guys are so good and some of the moves you do you like get frustrated at practice because it's not working but then in games you go and do it and you're like it was so much easier than going against our guys at practice our sideline looked looking into the end zone and now what's intercepted and got there catch jugs catch as many passes as you can from the quarterback go out there run routes you do whatever you can try to get better catching the ball your feet work all that [Music] this is my favorite place to be like this place is my home [Music] family here what we got going here the culture here you know everything that we've been building up to this point that's what I'm really excited for we're gonna grind we're gonna work we're gonna dominate that's just what we do I'm excited I'm excited to see what this season holds a lot of our guys are back this year I think we're turning at least like 70 80 percent Blake corm you know he's like the main guy [Applause] those tough yards he'll like make you miss like his who his elusiveness is ridiculous spread it touchdown Michigan 67 yards CJ I'm coming back means a lot especially for the receiving room he made a name for himself the converted wide receiver Mike that's my dog frozone's gonna be at the top of the top make sure Mason Graham with the sack Le Chris he's a freak athlete just a beast are we call him a mutant tiger this time you gotta be ready for Trevor Zach you know we have a team this year that really should do what we've set out to do for two years and if we focus and lock in and go every day as hard as we can you know there shouldn't be anybody that's going to stop us
