'' Tired of injustice
Tired of the schemes
Your lies are disgusting
What does it mean
Kicking me down
I gotta get up
As jacked as it sounds
The whole system sucks
With such confusion don't it make you wanna scream
You're bash abusing victimize within the scheme
You try to cope with every lie they scrutinize
Somebody please have mercy 'cause I just can't take it
Stop pressurin' me
Just stop pressurin' me
Stop pressurin' me
Make me wanna scream
Tired of tellin' the story your way
You're causin' confusion
You think it's okay
You keep changin' the rules
While you keep plain' the game
I can't take it much longer
I think I might go insane''
yeah the lyrics paint a pretty good picture of how we feel about this whole circus
I have been listening to what I call my "Angry Michael Playlist"...for about 3 weeks now....and Scream is definitely on it.
Literally this is exactly what I was thinking. He actually explained everything he went through in this song.
I have been binging the HIStory album for the past three months and I have to say it is so cathartic. It so perfectly sums up many of the feelings Iβve had recently.
This is my most favorite MJ song ever. I remember getting the cassette and rewinding it a trillion times when it first came out. Iβve been playing it a lot again lately. It gives me chills and sometimes puts tears in my eyes. Such a good track.
