Mexico: Journey to Puerto Penasco

[Music] hi I'm Carrie Lynn and thanks for watching vantasy TV join us today as we take a journey to the beautiful shores of Puerto pinasco [Music] Mexico [Music] hey [Music] hello everybody and welcome back to my Channel today we're headed to Porto Penasco we're driving through Oregon Pipe Cactus National Monument we're about 15 20 minutes from the Mexico border the three most important things that you need to know to get into Mexico is you definitely need a valid US Passport because you won't be getting back without one also you do have to have Mexican Insurance to be driving across Baja Sonora or into Mexico and no guns or ammunition is allowed acrossing the Border random vehicle inspections do take place as you're Crossing into Mexico in a vehicle and you just never know what they're going to ask or look for they change it every time and I'm sure there's a reason to do that so you can always expect the unexpected see the see the border wall going up the mountain [Music] there we're crossing into [Music] Mexico I can't be videotaping I think after this I'm probably going to shut it off but here we go hey guys so we just arrived we're just across the border there's no people there's no masses of crowds of people standing to get there there's nothing dangerous it's just people working friendly we did get searched a little bit I guess you could say and uh this is my first time driving in kilometers so 40 km 25 M an hour got to find a grocery store get some stuff and then head into the [Music] [Music] beach [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right we're back on the road that was my first time shopping uh with pesos I actually didn't get pesos uh I did find out that Capital One does not have a uh foreign exchange rate fee on their card so I'm able to use my Capital One card here I did use my phone however to convert pesos to dollars that made my shopping experience much easier much more enjoyable and so 153 pesos ended up being [Music] $9.19 vicious display of seing opponents once again parallel in an obate attempt to Pro superiority of the RO on equal in our lifetime okay so we're just arriving in the outskirts of PTO Penasco we're about 8 miles from the beach road's been super great there's signs everywhere that say USA hassle-free driving um I think they really want the tourism here so we're almost [Music] there [Music] a [Music] all right you guys we just got to we're at wrecked at the reef at the RV resort and we just got camped and we're going to go put our toes in the ocean for the first time we got to go put our toes in the ocean come on you guys come on buddy there's the ocean there's the ocean let's go come on I'm quit stepping everything we got to go to the ocean come on come on oh my gosh they said there was seashell everywhere look at that we just got here how fun we're going to have to get Buckets we're going to have to get Buckets oh my gosh seashells oh look at this you guys some seal glass all these shells just all shells how cool is that this is going to be so fun look at that one okay you guys ocean water this way Mama okay here we go Mojo come on come on buddy you got to put your toes in the ocean you got to do it you got to do it okay come on toes come on yeah I got him Mojo's not going bad yeah yeah yeah look at all the oh my gosh oh feels so good feels so good woo oh my gosh this is [Music] awesome [Music] a [Music] rainbow rainbow in Mexico my first Mexican rainbow all right you guys this morning we're off to do a little bit of shopping and to get some fresh seafood at the fisherman's market [Music] can I record you thank you are you Jessie I'm Jessie oh thank you Jessie try very fresh yes I'm going to tell everyone today I'm treating myself to a massage on the beach here is Linda's card she is absolutely amazing I got an hour massage for $45 right next to the ocean she comes right to your rig or hotel room so give lenda a call you will not regret it I [Music] promise tonight we're having dinner at wck at the reef this venue is just absolutely beautiful it's very quiet here due to situations at the border it has really hurt the tourism really bad here but as you can see this place is just absolutely gorgeous and you can tell it comes alive with people spring break's really going to be filling in the [Music] seats that looks beautiful Everything YouTube Instagram looks amazing oh gracias yum eating tacos on the beach with my feet in the [Music] sand they're eatting fish shrimp looks so [Music] good [Music] well everyone it was three funfilled days in Mexico I did not do any filming the last day I just wanted to relax and enjoy my last day there our friends have to be back and we're traveling together on this journey so we'll be heading back home I did get insurance for the entire year in Mexico because I live so close I plan to come back often that way I'll be able to get more videos for you guys and give you more inside depths about PTO pinasco P of pinasco is a city of about 68,000 people it sits on the sea at Cortez about 3 hours south of Phoenix we stayed on the west side of the city and next time we come back we'll be staying on the east side of the city so we'll have all new footage and new places to show you next time we head down which will be very soon and I can't wait to get back the food was amazing the people were
