well after 12 hours of traveling finally made it up here to Vermont and it's been a great day so far I'm at Old House sight this place has been redone over the years so it doesn't look very old but it does date back to the early 1800s this is one of my first good finds over here you can see where it was in the hole right down there the print it's silver it's actually a Canadian silver which is pretty cool from 1940 10 cents with a great way to start off the hunt I think it's gonna be a great week up here I'm really looking forward to finding some more stuff actually dug a couple wheat pennies right here and a Canadian penny so it was some type of coin spill I'll recheck the hole here in a second using the max have it set up in zero mode iron discrimination right at 24 at the moment I have the small coil so I found the Canadian coin right there and there's another signal somewhere in this hole right there I see where it was we'll mark in the dirt it's gonna be a coin there it is just a wheat penny I'll take it though no to a good area looks like 1940-something by the way it's pretty cold out here today it's in the 30s wanted to show you all this really interesting rock wall this is the property boundary the old one very cool you can see there's a bunch of hoses up in the trees it's for the maple syrup and make a lot of that around here it snows in April up here it's unbelievable about 80 degrees back down where I'm from this right here is really neat it's an old shotgun shell solid brass I missing part of it but she'll eighteen hundred's it's been fired too that's amazing first one I've ever found like this alright let's go get some more I'm down here by the stream now what a beautiful place check that out crystal-clear water I bet it's really cold Oh Lisa large cents or coppers out here he's ironer here so look at what I just eyeballed right on top of the ground it's a fidget spinner somebody lost that so I heard detecting a different site now old house built probably around the late 1700s I just found something really cool down here [Music] some type of pendant I reckon it's two o'clock ain't it sounds like a bear or something on that side not sure what that is it's like a bear face that's awesome fun though we're getting onto it now it's not a spoon down here first one of the day early 1930s or 40s alright I've been searching around this tree there's a lot of signals turned up against the base it's where people lose stuff all right so it's getting a pretty good signal here it showed up in the 70s right at 78 I ducked down thinking it'd be a bottle cap or a penny and check out what it is a colonial buckle my shoe that is awesome it's missing the inner pins but it's probably the best find of the day so far Wow can't believe I just found that has a beautiful design on it unreal that right there's a piece of history so just took a nice Indian Head Penny think it's from 1896 I've been cleaning it off it was down in about six inches so I've changed locations a different site now this place is really cool you'll have to check it out it's a cellar hole and it was used twice actually there was two houses here the original one has gone and in the late 1800s they'd built a house on top of the same cellar it's out here in the woods there's an old barn out back let's say mid 1700s you don't see stuff like this every day here's what's left with a barn foundation this is awesome probably some goings in here big old tree anything in there [Music] so I just came across the great stone out here in the woods I'm right up against the property boundary she's a rock wall that's where it ends and there it is straight out here in the open the old stone it's broken plates and stuff around it not sure if they're old though I could just put them there so they could find it no markings on it but that's old right there very cool fine so just walk down from the big gravestone I'm trying another one this one's smaller so maybe it was a child well that's a really big tree look at the limbs on that thing more than two feet diameter it's been there for years hundreds of years but it's 250 years old not older so it finally warmed up a bit out here it's in the 50s now now just located another silver coin looks like a Mercury dime yep 1944 all right shut up as 82 turned out in front of this big tree so I bet there's more around here so I just walked out in this field got a pretty good signal showing up right at 84 it locked on now took down in the gravel here and I have another silver coin it looks like it might be a barber dime yep sure is oh wow looks like 1907 Wow that's unbelievable well that's in beautiful shape one dime on the back a little bit scratched but applied from the gravel still Oh 1903 that's even better it's older Oh mint mark 2 Dorf in the day I've been out here for probably eight hours now just got a good signal down here show up in the eighties think it might be something good if we can find it look there's something there was at the spoon no so you know what I think that's old butt cap off a pistol maybe a foot like pistol wow that's what it is that's a amazing find you can see it had a hole right there to put the bolt awesome design Wow Billy's arm I find some yesterday spent 10 hours out there detecting went to about five different sites and I think I did pretty well a bunch of coins have 12 wheat pennies some modern coins right there none of them are silver over here have some silver coins there's a 1903 barber dime photo mint mark it's in pretty rough shape and I still take it also have a 1944 silver Mercury dime Canadian quarter that's not silver let's kind of like it though I have a 1940 Canadian dime this one is silver see it says ten cents on the back very cool there's the Canadian penny 1939 and speaking of Canada I'm actually going up to Toronto on June 9th for a Mel detecting hunt it's going to be at Woodbine beach park so thinking y'all are in the area feel free to come on by that's gonna be a great event I'm looking forward to it anyways I also got a Indian Head Penny I think it's 1896 some type of token South Main Street has some writing on the back I think it says Jamestown New York interesting this right here is an old shotgun shell completely brass you don't find too many of them I'd say it's from the late 1800s looks like there's a coin in there Mussa fill in there while it was in my pouch another wheat penny look at that unbelievable you just never know where you're gonna find stuff have an old spoon probably mid to late 1800s just from the design this is piece to an old lightning rod it's pretty cool Matt a copper I think when I went on the roof some more spoons note Horse rosette little buckles here's an old ring this is one of my favorite finds right here it's a colonial shoe buckle found it at a 1790s house site I guarantee you it's at least that old you can see it has a design all the way around it it's missing the pins that went in the middle I'll still take it though it's a great piece of history also have a buck cap it's made of brass it probably went off a flintlock pistol that's really awesome and last but not least have a watch fob so I hope y'all have enjoyed the hunt thank you for watching and God bless
