Metal Detecting an 1840's Courthouse. I luck into a SUPER FIND! Part 1

hey guys this is Kenny I was driving by a small town and I saw an old dilapidated courthouse and so I went to the new courthouse and asked who owned the courthouse I thought maybe the the county still did and they said a lady that works at the new courthouse bought it at the courthouse steps oddly enough and so I went and talked with her and she said that they were in the process of restoring it but had no problem with me detecting it so I got her name and her cell phone number and her home phone number in case there's any issues but anyway thought maybe you might want to see it isn't that beautiful the she says the center section was built around 1840 in about the turn of the century these two wings were put on it and she did mention that she thought some other people that have been detecting it or had detected it in the past but I was the only one that's gotten permission so anyway it sure makes you feel a lot better when you have permission hunting places like this if the cops come up or a neighbor says something then I've got the ammo in my pocket so I'm going to walk around here this is a takes up several probably well I guess a complete city block anyway this side actually I don't know I believe this would be the the back side of the courthouse but it's it might be even more beautiful than the front and then we got I mean I think I smell silver in the ground I can't wait to get hunting but I wanted to get all this on video here so this would be the the back side and then right there she told me was the jail that was built around I think she said about 1915 and the basement has got bars on the window windows so that's really cool so I'll get to huntin and see if I can't locate any targets and get back with you thanks for watching my videos oh here we go the these wing walls the one they put the addition on the original courthouse was done in 1910 so that's a about what she said well it's beautiful inside maybe one day I'll be able to go in it that'd be cool all right guys here's a 12 a 13 a t12 9 I'm just gonna see if there's any soil here in the ground acts like it's two or three inches deep sure it's a piece of foil but I just wanted to check it out in case it's a ring or something there we go well well guys I started right over here and I came around the building and then down the sidewalk and I'm going against this little wall it's about oh it's probably four foot off the ground thinking people might have sat on there years ago but I so crazy this is the front of the building this the side I thought was the front of the building doesn't even have a door on it so anyway my mistake but it's still beautiful anyway once I start getting if I get a good silver signal off turn the camera back on but so far everything's just been junky and it's been iron and trash so uh anyway I'll get back with you okay guys I'm right out the front door I've got terrible signals I mean there's so much junk in here but I got one here that wants to hit kind of weedy or not it's I'll let you listen to it this is how desperate I am getting to dig a target 939 there we go twenty eight twenty three thirty eight eleven forty - all right it's ugly but let's see what it is I've done some targets Oh probably half a dozen and if you've ever dubbed the in the Ozarks you all you get is about one inch of black dirt and 12 inches of rock there we go it was a coin or something else in the hole here we'll check it out it's a we D with you there we go we'll see we're it is just good shape it's a 1927 okay guys I'm out in the front of the courthouse see the building there some out here and I'm getting a real good nickel signal here so uh I mean I haven't got a this is like my second clean hit 12 11 13 levin lady three four inches that sounds more like a service target to me probably piece of can saw now we'll see if I can dig that it with my finger oh it is it Oh what is it oh my word look at there we can bling awesome that's cold hold on sigh don't clean it up good thing I dug that nickel signal think think how many people miss that over the years she finally the G find her or not oh yeah that's gold it's got a marking on it but I can't read it it's not real dark gold so I'm going to say it's probably a 10 K could be 14 all right that's awesome man right out here hey guys I just want to show everybody I pulled it out down here it it sounded like surface trash with the e-track killing it was the pinpoint was was screaming so I figured it was going to be Oh inch or less but it was about I would say two and a half inches down and the e-track was was hitting on it just fine you know a lot of people say well the e-track they don't find gold or nothing like that but it may not find the smallest little earrings or nuggets or whatever but I'd rather pass up a little stud earring for something that size anyway so it hit hard on that well I'm getting ready to head out about three hours from my house and I'm going to go around this flagpole here but before I do I'd ask the lady if she was going to get the clock working on this up here in the clock tower and she said that clock is painted on that's just paint she goes it's been that way since they built the building they never got enough money to put four clocks up there so they painted that just like a minute before eight on all the clocks told me you
