what's up guys court order here if you didn't see last week's video we are on an incredible 1740s colonial house and we got there we walked in the far back and saw this amazing old spring house the homeowner came out while we were there and went through the rubble and found the original date stone with a date etched in it of 1765. so of course we start detecting around that spring house and just started off with a bang rich gets a hold braided hair large scent and in the exact same hole finds a second large scent his first large sense spill then matt jumps into the action with his own braided hair large scent and right next to his i get an incredibly conditioned braided hair large scent thinking that i'm in the lead but then no matt comes right back and pulls a 1798 drape bust large scent to outdo me for the oldest coin of the day so far and while we're finding this stuff doug gets that amazing 1908 indian penny that may have had an s mint mark at the bottom we're still not sure and then he also nabs the incredible sterling silver spoon handle had sterling marked on both sides that thing was beautiful and all this stuff we found was before lunch so this week's video is the after lunch stuff we find more large scents we find more silver we find incredible relics the day just kept on giving absolutely incredible finds so i hope you guys enjoyed this week's video part two 1740s colonial house and i will see at the end later [Music] all right i just got a pretty decent find this is coming up in the 40s it's the first buckle of the day but that means we've already gotten lin buttons buckles large scents all the things we love to find we need some bows some what buckles buttons and bows yeah i don't have any bows yet they seem to fall apart the bow on the corn on the indian oh there we go oh indian i forgot about the indian and doug did say just now that he's got a silver coin which will be the first silver coin of the day let's go see what dougie's got looks like a quarter it's an old quarter it looks like it well it's in old washington oh it is a washington oh wow i can't see anything on it at the moment do you have your spray on you yes oh it definitely looks silver based on that eagle and put over here in the sun doug and we'll spray it let's see if i can do as good as i did earlier oh excellent job you've been taking classes i have i i go night school i got it i got it three times a week look at that 39 doug 1939 said not only silver quarter older than you which is what we like yeah by a year much enough let's see if it's getting mint mark on it it smells like mint there it is i don't see mint mark but i love the nice patina too the dark spots the the high spots let's move down to the sun it's been sitting in the sun it's got a nice tan yeah it does it looks really nice let's give this a full proper cleanup we'll come back and we'll look at it without all this gunk on it proper cleaning and we'll be back in a second i'll clean up my buckle too okay you do that all right there's doug's coin 1939. george looks extra bald in this one he's uh he just had it he's a little more no mint mark that i see but doug you know it's kind of crazy oh and doug cleaned up my buckle too i was kind of only joking i don't really care that much but now you can really balance that right there see if you can get it with one hand oh good job no it's funny dog falls right from the center um five coppers on the day now doug doesn't have any of the coppers but doug's the only guy with silver and i'm gonna say he found three pieces even though the spoon was broken distinct so three silvers for doug and indian and then five coppers for the rest of us and some buttons and other trinkets yeah and doug on the old not even lunch time yet i didn't even go back mac didn't even eat one of his seven meals at each door in the day yet oh yeah he had two meals already okay when did you do that so i well done dog on the silver washington i'm gonna get my machine and try to join you on one look at rich you need to get something a little older in the silver knee deep uh over by the spring house all right seems to be targets all over the place and the property is massive and you're only looking at a small percentage of it we might have to come back for a second trip i had a good signal here i pulled it out i thought it was a button and i gave it a little rub and it's a buffalo nickel you can see the buffalo uh oh you have something good well it's a piece of what i want all right hold on i'm coming and no date on the buffalo but let me go walk but no over oh that is a big one brace uh i called him rhys yourself i know i don't watch i'll talk my finger off for a second i might have oh look at the pedals on that too lin look how large they are oh yeah that's probably uh this would have been softball size maybe these are bigger than the ones that you have in your collection maybe nope that was it wow oh man that's a shame rich that would have been a massive snowball size belt this is the biggest piece i've found yeah and this one is the oldest one too that other one you found which i think was not suspiciously looking newer yeah first plus i gave it to her but well sorry rich that's okay i'm still psyched to find a piece this side was it laying flat where you thought it could have been whole or was it laying upside down where you knew it was broken flipped it out i know oh sorry all right so you never had your hopes up all right well i had good fine wow look at that i'm getting bigger either all right matt just called right there was my buffalo nickel i didn't even fill it in yet because everyone else found stuff at the same time walking back matt right behind me yelled out copper which will be copper number six puts matt in the lead for the day rich three coppers let's see oh you are down there all right i see it we got a selection of two so far let's see what matt gets if he can get matt's already buying rita's let's see if he out readers himself is that already detailed i thought i saw something the official i saw a shiny circle this is the back see the wreath oh i see one cent i see one cent what's the green in the hole right there is that the impression that's where it was stuck to yeah look at that look at it oh look at that can i have that part at least all right there's matt's newest copper his third six on the day one cent on the back some of the wreath and the u.s coins flip up and down so it's going to flip like this and there it is right there matron head yep see it facing towards my ring finger tip you know when the ring finger is matt yeah okay i've never used that reference before why not all the fingertips like why did i just say that i don't know man way to go matt three coppers on the day this has been incredible so far i can't wait to see how many we finished with all day long awesome job man all right well done all right dog tag doug mexican dog jane fondage got something pretty cool yeah i got a glimpse of it doug move out to the sun a little bit only because the shade doesn't make things look as good there we go right here how's that that looks perfect you look amazing you look marvelous look at that and i thought maybe uh an emblem off a bicycle only because it looks like it would bend around but there's no holes in it i think glue up here it may have oh capital washington dc it's got the capital building i guess right lynn yeah i'm not sure if it's from a bike maybe not i'm just throwing it out there just looks odd that it's bent so perfectly symmetrical i agree i agree with it it's from something i'm glad we brought you in i am a genius that's a great piece though i love interesting things like this doug i could find these all day long yep we'll clamp the back oh yeah there's a nice giant-sized buckle yeah so you're getting stuff up there you might be in the dumpier area i think i am yeah you're finding your items did you show them the pipe stem yeah lynn's on a pipe stem on the surface we've never found one and well she's got four billion i know that's her seven thousand she knows what she's looking for this is like something doug and i always hope to find actually and lynn plucked it right off the surface an old pipe stem and lin show them with your hands because i'm only using one how long this would be if it was complete the long clay that long that long so this is only a teeny little smidgen and this is the part that would be because it's thick would be down toward the bowl probably those pipes like she said are like two feet long and if you took a little hit off of the pipe you would then break the end off hand it to me so we didn't share spit and that nice that's why they made them so long that's why you find the little pieces too yeah that's why you heard about the one-armed guy that caught the fish it was this big [Laughter] well hey good find dog we'll grab your badge awesome fine on the pipe stem thank you and i just pulled a nice buffalo nickel so three in a row one two three look at this one now lynn we've already pulled six coppers in this general area i'm still right in front of the spring house i might do a live dig on this one because if you look at my depth indicator lin it's maxed out it's about eight ten inches deep and it sounds incredible would you like to hold the camera for me oh rock oh that cables hang out there's a snake jumping up your leg there's rocks i did not dig a very deep plug here still down there let me see if i can even hear it yet that's a good sign though deeper it's so rocky i can't really yeah here's proof for anybody that thinks these are fake digs right well i i didn't get it out yet i think it was definitely gonna be good i'm right on it but it's just right there i gotta go down with the big shovel a little bit see if i can get to the side just so rocky i think it's going to be a coin just tell them that be nice if one of us got a flowing hair half dime you're getting greedy oh here it is oh you see something yeah green green i just saw the green impression yep i didn't see a green impression it's because you can't see green that's that's probably why where'd it go though no we both saw it so i didn't see anything oh my goodness i don't want to hit it with my shovel oh there it is there it is yeah that's how you do it lynn yep awesome jay oh it's counters i think it's counter stamped see it right there yeah i have to pray and i get older than his coin so he doesn't spy all right there's the copper coin i just got copper number seven on the day and as hard as i tried i can't see any details to distinguish what coin it is the only thing that really stands out is the counter stamp that looks like a letter j from certain angles it's dug into the coin and what's really cool is when we cleaned it on the other side is also a counter stamp which could be a letter j originally i just thought this side was counter stamped and it left a marking but both sides are dug into so they may have tried to counter stamp a j on one side didn't like how it came out and try it on the other side so i'll look for uh some markings to identify the coin later at the moment i'm not sure i'm going to guess it's pretty early for it to have no detail but at the moment i don't know all right doug has got a signal in the hole but he pulled out something really cool and the funny thing is is he pulled it out i thought it was a leap he thought it was a leaf so he just chucked it against the tree and then lynn said doc what is that and it might be like one of the coolest things he's got all day look at that can you see any writing on it oh i see markings all over in the middle are like bugles or trumpets it looks like it's going to be a watch fob either that or or some kind of um ribbon there's a bugle down there this could be war related dog it could be military and oh and there's writing on the back too very faint writing on the back let's brush this down and see exactly what it is i can't believe you didn't notice it the weight of it on your shovel when you toss it oh i i had all kinds of crap on my shovel and then i went to fill the hole and i just left it there wow look at that all on both sides let's clean this up doug this is an amazing little piece all right there's dougie's piece maybe one of my favorite pieces of the day doug it's an old fireman's ribbon badge this would have had a fabric ribbon go through the top which originally i thought watch fob and if you look at the images on the left hand side is a fire nozzle on the right is a ladder or ladder rather at the bottom there are two crossed axes there's trumpets all around the middle where they would sound the alarm but did you notice this ring around here and it comes to a nozzle that's the hose oh yeah you're right that's right the whole middle whole middle is a nozzle and hose and there's little flames up here in the corner and there's a fireman's axe at the bottom i believe yep down the bottom there's two of them crossed so it's a beautiful old medallion for a fire company and on the back there is some writing but we couldn't quite make out what it said even rich with his good eyes the something something company and i thought it said something like made in nj for new jersey but i can't tell that's probably who manufactured the and this was probably either guilt or enameled at one time to really stand out but dog that's an amazing fine it could even be 1800s just thought it was a leaf and let it i know well good thing lynn's uh super eyeballs caught it well she's younger than me i don't even have my glasses on wow that's a great piece congratulations doug one of the coolest things i've seen all day cool awesome i'm gonna put my machine down for just a second because right over here in the brush i noticed this old millstone some sort of a grinding stone and it's pretty large i mean there's my foot which is a size 13 shoe so it's probably a good 28 inches or so across and probably would have something to do with the stream behind us ground down flower or something like that we've come across a lot of millstones over the years this one's a little smaller and it's deceivingly heavy if i even tried the rocket i think could weigh 200 pounds it's about maybe seven eight inches thick it looks like burrowed into the ground cool piece though a lot of age to it let's head back towards the old spring house back there see we can find all right lynn and i were just inside getting the tour for about an hour so we come out to see what's found and oh my goodness dog's got like two or three things i gotta go look at matt's yelling copper so let's see what we missed out while we were inside that's the fun part it's all the fun part oh yeah i see another big one i see one cent again another wreath is it going to be another matron or braden i think so yeah number eight i can't see anything on this side yet let's see let's give it a brush down and see it'll be number eight oh man imagine if we can get 10 coppers from this house along with all the cool relics that would be the goal some detail on this is there detail on this yeah stars are coming through oh i see it that's a nice one you got some good detail on that matt man i could almost see the date but not quite look how large the stars look it's weird yeah they almost look larger than i'm used to seeing let's get the big stars look at that detail man this is your best one yeah my best one yeah maybe ever all right well if we can get a date off this maybe with the flashlight i'll come back but another heck of a good find almost all of the coins were within 50 feet of the spring house other than the first two which got up by the original house well hey well done man i'm gonna go walk over and check out dougie's things because he was pretty stoked all right thank you well done appreciate it all right got something i heard doug say silver when we were we were in the basement inside the dirt floor basement and i heard dog i heard that i heard dog yelling oh it looks dirty oh oh i do see some shiny i think i see one dime on the back did you look it over is it a seated or a barber looked like a head on the front but i didn't i see your head yep and he did you want to you want to put some dog slobber on it yes sir i think he did that one on purpose yes i did he's starting to master the spraying master sprayer let's see if i can everything wants to clean except the date yeah the date's not coming off yet let me tell dry it dog hold on um oh it looks like 1900 even oh all right i'm gonna do a flip on it let's see a mint mark i don't think there's a mint mark on it all right let's clean this all up doug i'm going to get a nice close-up of it in the sun okay and make sure but i think it's 1900. well done awesome yeah another silver all right there's dougie's barber dime it is 1900. and doug now that i'm looking at it it is very nice shape it is the black is kind of hiding how much detail is left on it but i can see uh all of the vines on the headdress i can see the pronounced neckline and the nose it's really well uh well preserved 1900 so kind of right in the middle of the barber run this sign a little extra mint mark so philadelphia mint but where to go doug you're the only guy with silvers on the whole day yeah everybody sorry you guys keep finding copper i'll keep fighting we all play our role well done man all right the young guys find all the coppers and the older guy finds all the silver but the middle of the road guy gets the buttons another one for me this is a little cuff button and i see stars going around the outside you're going to see stars race loves buttons too i'm gonna brush it down and i'm gonna say there's a marking in the middle i'm gonna hope for military or at least something inside those stars let's clean it up and take a look all right there's my button and lynn is holding my power on too awesome flashlight i do love them guys now this is the back with the shank this is the front and it almost looks like at the bottom there's a date on it or something at the bottom almost looks like it says 1 8 two four or three four yeah no i've never seen a button that had a year on the front like that and what's in the middle of it there like a raised blob okay that might be corrosion i don't know but there's definitely writing on this very interesting on the front now the back has writing which isn't as rare and i can't quite pull that out of the sun for that part i can't quite read it this button is a cuff button it's very small as it is full shank standing straight up and down but that is very intriguing at the bottom there so i'm definitely going to look into that later and see what the heck that could be oh man did you see all the incredible things that came out of this yard and i'm just talking about this video not even the first part we got some super cool buttons like the one i found that may have had a date 1854 on the bottom of the button i've never seen anything like it doug's incredible bicycle badge it had the washington capital on it and of course he got that incredible firefighter medal we looked it up it was from a group of volunteer firefighters from up in upstate new york how the heck it got weighed out here and lost in this yard i have no idea but the thing was absolutely amazing of course more coins came out of the ground too doug's beautiful silver washington quarter he also got the incredible 1900 silver barber dime and also three more large copper coins on top of the five from the first video this week one from rich one from matt and of course the one from me with the counter stamp letter j in it and
