Mental Health Awareness Month Box Swap!

hello disney friends and welcome back to dough of the day a place where we talk disney and sometimes we talk about eating disorder recovery and mental health in general um so today's video is a fun video it's a kind of a collaboration um with leslie through the looking glass now leslie is fantastic she is also a disney youtuber who talks a lot about mental health on her channel and a couple of months ago she reached out to me and she asked if i would be interested in doing a box swap just the two of us because our channels are very similar in content and kind of our passion that drives the channel um and so i told her yes of course um the reason that we chose to do this box swap now is because may is mental health awareness month and we just really hope to bring awareness to the issue of mental health and really um fight stigma so that people can get help the help that they need and all of that so i did get my box today and i'm super excited to get into it i'm wearing my warrior shirt for eating disorder recovery so this is my box you can see she decorated it very prettily with some disney stickers all around and let me tell you it says magic mail on the side and let me see this box has some heft to it it is actually pretty heavy so i guess we'll go ahead and open up this box and see what is inside you guys have got to check out leslie for the looking glass if you have not already she is a real sweetheart and her little daughter amelia is so cute my brother you might hear him talking in the background i can't get him to be quiet today for my filming so at least he's supporting me by watching me film right oh this is pretty i'm wondering if this is a mickey lick box um from like the disney parks because it has um different parts items on the back so that's really fun i should have cut this box open before i started filming but i always forget it okay so let's get into it all right so the first thing i see is a nice note from leslie so let's read the note that says rebecca i'm so happy we are exchanging this magic mail your channel and strength has been such an inspiration to me your willingness to share your journey even on the hard topics and difficult times helps people more than you know mental health is so important and i'm so grateful to have found someone speaking up that has turned in that has turned into a friend you are beautiful inside it out and i'm grateful for you i hope that you enjoy the items out for you there is my brother sneezing sorry oh goodness you just you know what we just don't hide who we are here we just what you see is what you get but that is so sweet leslie thank you this note means a lot i'm gonna put this in a little box where i like to keep special notes um because this really means a lot to me thank you so much okay so the first thing i'm gonna open is this that's right on top and this says one thing to use for self-care and one sent by your fairy godmother i'm curious to see what this may be oh boy oh it's a hairbrush that is so cute it's a cinderella brush and she is just gorgeous i love like the um the shininess to it and the stylized version of cinderella and this is so special because i haven't always had hair um so this is kind of cool to celebrate that my hair's growing back and i can use this all the time thank you so much leslie i love it that's so cute okay and that must be from the fairy godmother and then oh i can already smell this next item oh that smells so nice this says davon bath cinderella bath bomb i didn't know that you could get disney princess bath bombs that's cool um and it says that there is a fun surprise inside i might use this tonight because i went for like a five mile jog today so i'm kind of sore and achy so it might be nice to um to use that bath bomb this evening all right so this next thing says from one of the small shops i wrapped i ordered a size up in case it's shrunk you needed this oh boy let's see but it looks like a shirt and it's my favorite color dole whip mickey ears fantasyland mickey pretzels splash mountain haunted mansion best day ever oh i love that that is really cute and that is so true i love all of these things and it has no whip on it i can't wait to wear this on my upcoming trip that is so cute and it's really soft too it also smells good from the things that are inside the box oh i love that thank you so much leslie that's adorable okay let's see what his name i don't know where to go next there's so many goodies inside here okay this says of course magic mail wouldn't be complete with one of these i can't lie i've never seen this but it's on your favorites i've added it to my list dude i'm curious what it is oh i see a red box it's a gym shore oh and she covered up the side so i can't see what it is no peeking all right i'm excited to see what this is i love gym shores oh my goodness it's marie oh she is precious and yes i have wanted this one so much oh she is just adorable let me show you guys what she looks like so she is so pretty on this little pillow that she's sitting on and her bow in the back oh leslie i love that i'm gonna stick her right here where she can be on display she fits in perfectly thank you so much okay so let's see what else is in here this box just keeps going my goodness this is i don't know if you like baths like i do but there are pink himalayan bath rocks for pulling out toxins oh now that's cool so these are like i guess rocks that you put inside your bath that is cool thank you yes i do love baths by the way my family can tell you i go and i sit in the bathtub for like hours at a time yeah and they smell imagine having to hold it for three hours there goes my brother again these are really cool thank you leslie um and they smell good too so i'm i'm super excited about these i'm gonna put all the baths now thank you so much okay oop and here's some pen i have not had pets never but i used to love these things when i was a kid i cannot wait to eat them it's minnie mouse that is so cute ah i'm loving this and it says um i have another guest oh my goodness this says not directly disney but created by a disney friend i love brian's products and i hope you love it too okay so this must be talking about the bride rock he has a youtube channel and he is so wonderful he is just such a sweet sweet person and he has opened a smile shop on etsy um hopefully this will be um this will have the name of the small shop on it so i can tell you what it is um but i'm really excited to see what what this is because he's great and i love that i'm supporting him so let's see what it is okay so it's a soap and the scent is immortality it says handmade soap with goat milk um so it's an exotic blend of flour and fruit fragrance fragrances my favorite scent delicately mixed with fresh goat's milk and i know that's supposed to be super good for your skin it will give you an extraordinary sweet and rich experience oh that smells so nice it smells really nice i can't wait to use that and it's alright i think already might be the name of his small shop there um on the front um that is awesome so i get a little taste of um leslie and a little brian so that's fun um thank you so much leslie i love that okay so this next item says this wasn't the one i was hoping to send but i hope you still like this one i do feel bad for leslie because she kept messaging me and saying um what i was going to get you somebody else got you in a box swap or what i was going to get you you got in your bibbidi box so i i made it hard on her so i'm excited to see what this is oh this is cute it's disney sidekicks it's got mushu and cookie on it and it's a disney lounge fly that is so cute i love cross bodies and this is a very it's like a messenger bag so this is very practical for every day i love that oh my goodness and the inside is striped that is so cute my brother's over here they get another bag i love bags that's just fantastic i love it thank you so much okay and there's still more wow this says this should be a perfect item for your trip and if you use it right build your collection i wonder what this could be oh my goodness wow okay so it is a pin lanyard with a um oh what do you call this like an id wallet on it and it has pins on it so it has donald duck it has olaf it has um that looks like oswald the lucky rabbit and mater the greater so i already have pens ready to trade this is so cool and you know what's really cool too i actually have the bag that matches the um what's on the lanyard the design on the lanyard that is so super cool look hold on i have to go grab the bag real quick so see i have the matching bag and lanyard that is too too awesome i'm definitely going to be using this on my trip i'm so excited to penetrate on this trip because i've never done pin trading before in the parks so i'm so excited thank you leslie oh my goodness that's so sweet too that you thought about my upcoming trip when you did this box thank you okay so this next package says when you are ready to let your hair down and need a disney accessory from another small shop i rep and use daily oh this is cute it is a disney parts headband i love hair accessories oh it has a little sticker inside find the fun that's cute it's got joy from inside out on it and i love to put stickers on my water bottle oh this is so super cute so this has different disney designs on it you can see that it has balloons it has the disney castle on it i don't think i'm showing it very well it has a disney castle on it it says um magic home oh that's so pretty i'm gonna put it on i think it actually kind of matches my outfit that i have on today so that's perfect and i can use this for my trip too thank you so much and then there's another item this is i love holidays but sometimes they take their toll so here is a little bit of magic for your favorite holiday yay these are so cute it's mickey ears with gingerbread mickey oh i have seen these and i love them but i never i don't have them oh these are cute look at that so it's gingerbread mickey and minnie and then this is striped like peppermint and it's got the peppermint in the middle now i don't know which thing to wear on my head because they're both so cute put this one on sue oh and they fit perfectly oh my goodness wow so that that is everything thank you so much leslie i just love this box um you really spoiled me and i have so many nice self-care items to just relax the school year is almost over the school year ends this week so when it's over i'm just gonna take several days to just relax and unwind and enjoy my kid-free day it's not that i don't love those kids you guys know i love those kids but it's gonna be nice to kind of have some time to myself too um and use some of these self-care items i have so many fantastic things to use for my trip and this was just so very thoughtful leslie thank you so much i it's so sweet how much thought you put into this you really thought about things that i like things i can use on my trip it was just i can tell that you really thought about me and it's the thought that
