Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax and Hybrid Ceramic Detailer... The Perfect Protection Duo?

product yeah true and we could send samples yeah anyways ok Brandon shut up what do we do what do we do it today so today we're gonna talk about McGraw Tim McGraw know them all McGuire's today huh yes cuz kind of using these two together makes sense too but you had your McGuire's hybrid ceramic wax right here which has been on the market for what about a year yeah I think that's been about a year a little over yeah and then we've got the hybrid ceramic detailer for McGuire's which came around just in January and as you kind of noticed we're gonna talk about packaging real quick we've already talked about this one we talked about we love the green packaging yeah we used it a little different manner though as a standalone product but we're gonna use it in conjunction with how they've designed it to be used today with their product look translucent green cool bottle and we got this translucent nice nice bright blue what I can tell you that is a thicker formula than the detailer yeah would even mention that you'd be but high viscosity high viscosity alright yeah so let's hit so yeah information on the bottles if you want warning there's a lot of stuff here on this stuff and this is a very different application method for this product to initialize and subsequently continue to use than anything else we've ever used it's not complicated it has just a twist to it right once you read it ten times it's okay very well said burrows will try to thank you I'm gonna read the front first yes so it's the Maguire's hybrid ceramic wax ceramic made easy protection and durability beyond conventional wax spray on rinse off and dry okay so wax by just spraying on then rinsing off yes it's that easy I like that yeah that idea it says no rubbing no kiri no buffing conventional no sensational yes so I don't think I've ever seen sensational on a detailing like that so it says here it's a sophisticated hybrid ceramic chemistry uses a thick high velocity formula and the power of your rinse water to help coat your car's exterior surfaces you can actually see the extreme water beads as as you rinse okay then simply dry as normal and your surfaces now have enhanced hybrid sio2 ceramic protection that beads water like crazy beads like crazy okay and then we get to the directional since the D direction so you're gonna give them big and give them the initial application direction first yeah so the initial well here what I'll do is there's there's a note I'm gonna I'm gonna skip to the note because then it'll make more sense I believe okay it says for the initial application of McGwire's hybrid ceramic wax it says to skip step four which is a second rinse and go directly to step five which is drying it says using a clean dry towel for the final wipe this establishes a foundation layer of protection and beading that will enhance with with additional product applications using the wax as you rinse method may be but it does I would definitely recommend reading the whole bottle first but no that was good now go ahead and shake well so shake well in all caps so they can go shake that thing well it says the car should be cool to the touch and in shade again with all products don't mess it up in its own yeah if you don't have to don't yeah if you can find a shady spot or your garage that just makes life easier better yeah wash your car with any McGuire's carwash okay following the directions on the label number two rinse the vehicle thoroughly of all wash soap number three spray McGuire's hybrid ceramic wax over all exterior surfaces okay so you cover everything with a glass the trim nice now here here we get to so this is step forward where we would skip the first time we're doing this right skip this step yeah so let's say it is our first time I'm gonna skip it says skip four so we'll go right down to five for the initial application then we'll go back up to four yeah if that makes sense it does I need this I'll drive the vehicle with a quality microfiber drying towel like McGuire's water magnet of course your choice of towel so so at this point for your initial application you've rinsed you've washed the car you've rinsed the car you sprayed that over the coated the whole vehicle with now you're just gonna dry it like you would dry it with that in the water on the beach so now yeah you've got a wet vehicle with water and McGuire's hybrid covering ceramic white so that makes sense you're spreading it while you're drying so that way yeah yeah you're getting a nice even spread of the product so it is still using water to activate or whatever yeah yeah so then now for subsequent so now okay a couple weeks later I go to wash my vehicle again and I want to show you wha use this so I wash the vehicle and then I rinse the vehicle thoroughly and then I spray the product on the vehicle again oh guys they holding the whole vehicle and here's that step for okay it says starting on the roof use a strong stream of water rinse the vehicle a second time okay it says the the hydropower of this rinse will spread the product coating all the exterior with our hybrid ceramic protection okay so you're blasting it basically off of the car yeah I'm spreading it with water so now you're spraying it on and then you're rinsing it off with a good heavy stream of water okay and that is like you said other spreading the product all over the villa and then do you dry and then you go to your five your Step five where you drive a vehicle with a good microfiber drying towel okay makes sense little tricky to but once you read it a few times it makes sense yeah it was just a little bit I'm confusing you know two to two like two different methods at first yeah so yeah that's that's the main goes that so this would be your foundation layer here yeah even in our scenario and then this you could use in between yeah washings in between washings uh or you want to just clean off that light layer of dust well yeah and between washes that's it just yeah that's it again I'm lightly or just when you would use a detailer right exactly so we've got the Maguire's ceramic hybrid ceramic detailer you can definitely tell like we said these are in the same family here yeah I love that consistency and branding and that labels difference color that make me know which ones which when I'm grabbing them bullet points boost beading and protection mm-hmm advanced sio2 technology spray-on wipe off hydrogen ceramic protection removes dust and light contaminants enhances waxes coatings and sealants so it enhances what we have here mist and wipe your way to a just watched appearance it's that easy okay it's a slick finish while boosting shine used by itself or to strengthen we just said that waxes sealants and coatings so okay what we're gonna do here is shake well in caps yeah car should be cool to touch and in the shade again Matt that wasn't it it doesn't say that on there there's no naps on the wavelet missed your hybrid ceramic detail arrow into one section at a time quickly spread product with a microfiber towel turn to a dry portion and wipe off return to a damp portion for each initial wipe repeat this process on each section I mean that's straightforward as it gets for detailing spray right exactly how you use it does say is a quick tip if you have light streaking occurring spray product directly onto the towel and repeat steps two and three product separation is normal shake before each use can also be used on exterior trim in chrome so it guess it can separate hasn't separated on us oh hey Ryan real quick um got to our our stupid us test what's smell stupid of stupid us that's telling you guys not to do this yeah let's see now know that these these are locked down so they haven't got a spray the towel there Ryan and Brandon proof this is new and I'm wondering if I don't remember bottles having locked yeah there's a China my assistant but I think it might be because of us do like I have a little bit of an ego and think that they do it because of us Arizona men sniffing detailing products now we're gonna lock the bottles you need to stop doing this alright grab a towel we're gonna spray into him also McGuire's says reflect your passion like that precautions do not swallow do not sniff no I'm suppose to say that just says do not swallow it will say do not snare that's coming after this after McGuire's watches our videos that's right Thank You employers so check this out blue liquid it's it's an actually a really thick blue liquid just thicken it it barely has any odor but it's an it's a pleasant sweet smell but very light in my opinion oh yeah yeah sweet I like that sweet it's weird no again we don't recommend sniffing detailing products I'm gonna give you the green oh I hope this is green no it's clear but it's literally there's no Ren's viscosity it's very very and we did shake it it smells good it's got a light sweetie sweetie a light sweet it's almost almost a 10 it's stronger yeah it is not but not in a bad way but there you go in case you guys wanted to know that's what they smell like and I kind of feel like if we don't smell the products I don't know it's like a trademark thing we're gonna use them yeah let's let's go and let's go do this come on navigation of McGwire's you know what's exciting we're just saying this douches are averse products yeah I've used their products from forever to always been very happy with what I purchased from them so just better be good all right let's go over there all right let's go over to the test have to use water in this test so so what is that first that first step so remember it says to wash your car then rinse it which thoroughly what you did washed rinsed and then we're gonna spray this all over the exterior surface we're gonna skip step four cause it's our initial and then we're gonna drive the vehicle with a quality microfiber drying towel so basically that'll peddle as you're drying it'll spread the product evenly all over it all right so I say give it one more rinse if you want and then I will right sounds good Brandon spray what do you say all right you ready here we go the Maguire's is out as you can see we're not getting any beading here cause this was a and it doesn't say anything about sparingly I'm assuming you've used pretty liberally you're putting it with water right she mounts the drying process and I got a drying towel right here and we're just gonna oh yeah smoke with wax chemically wax pendant and this is a wax product - oh right it does say that so we're gonna go ahead just it says it's us ready a ceramic wax right all right put them through the dry section to tie bread ceramic wax and that is very easy are you feeling the feel a little bit of slickness come on definitely here Ryan why don't you do the left side there if you want trade spots still a little I left some Street water here again we're in the Sun right now not the best of scenarios which we talked about even washing trying to do it in the shade if you can but we know not all circumstances allow that hey there's mobile Detailers out there you guys work in the Sun a lot if you don't have canopies or so so this stuff can't work in the Sun that would be a challenge here black-op got helicopters now but I'll tell you honestly though that's a way to put on protection that's pretty easy even though the directions make it seem complicated you know I'm wiping it over and over again you because I keep reading the water I feel slickness very slick yeah this one's pretty saturated I get a drive wow guys it you can oh yeah okay I really feel the slickness here I mean it it it doesn't get any easier than that getting it on while you're rinsed while you pressed right yeah alright we'll go over it with this drive down here anyone know something funny this is the McGuire stuff well there you go I'm for a long time McGuire's did recommend to use the Maguire's what do they call that the magnet water magnet I don't think I think this is just a microwave maybe it's called water magnet I don't remember all right wow that was easy guys real slick very easy do we we can cut this out everyone do we want to see its if it beats because it did not be yeah let's see if it beads now and then we're gonna go put on the detailer and see if it's slicker than B well we know it'll beat again but yeah let's see if or do you want to wait until we use the detail spray I say go ahead and see the beads now since we're here we got water because it said wait let me let me check the bottle guys no curing right it literally says yet yeah I remember you planted that it says no rubbing no kiri no buffing so stop buffing or what am i doing that's habit guys always trying to chase perfection with the look its good mott says simply dry as normal and your surfaces now have enhanced hybrid sio2 ceramic protection that beads water like crazy so let's be like crazy let's see if it beads because remember there there were no beads happening yes this was not a beading all right well protection here we go no no cheering time smell it it does smell plus maybe almost a towel whoa strong it is strong are you ready go for it yeah it'd be different there we go oh yes baby birds well it's good let me shut that off here can't complain on the beading front yeah going from no beads to this type of beading heck yeah I say that's it I say that's a win alright I'll dry it off so we can get inside and now put some ceramic detailer water put some ceramic Ito a that Miss said he likes to leave a-- leave behind some water alright so what I'll do is well we'll see you over in the garage to the garage to the garage alright run back inside we laid down our initial base layer of McGwire's ceramic hybrid wax you just saw that go go down definitely slick its slick and we saw bees yeah we did so then there weren't there before because this was they ready to go a panel so one thing you mentioned I talked about that there's not a longevity listed on the how long well longevity how long this codeine will last codeine / wax / you know whatever working with here ceramic wax how long it lasts so there's nothing so and then you mentioned something it's almost like you know you should use this every one with every long yeah because it is a wet a wet vehicle you use this on a wet vehicle yeah from here out forward when you rinse you spray this on pull your rinse you wash you rinse spray it on your whole vehicle and then rinse it off yep so now the next time we use this on this hood we would wash the hood rinse the hood spray the product then use a high-pressure Ridge pressure it's right to rinse the product off and then dry and then dry it it's an extra rinse step but but I will sing a chisel yeah it's easy and you're applying perfection so I'm with you I think we were right thinking that because probably supposed to use that every wash yeah because there is no time frame as far as how long the protection lasts with it with a single application my only cost kick concern there is it kind of seems like you're building up every time you wash yeah but time will tell if you use that over could I have a feeling I mean it just seems like not a lot of product is sitting on this maybe not i rinsing a lot of it off take a profitable correct so so in this instance though we're gonna switch gears and throw the Maguire's hybrid ceramic detailer I was it haha I bred hybrid hybrid cars are great for the environment also your detailing no so we're we're gonna simulate say you washed your vehicle you drove it around it has a light layer of dust on it now's the time to use somebody tail spoiler and one section at a time remember real quick we talked about these but spread it with a microfiber turn to a dry portion wipe dry return to a damp portion for each edge you know of a wipe if streaking occurs spray product directly on the towel so shake well what kind of got some flex there that was kind of weird see that weird you want me to start on this side so yeah we'll let you I'll just do this half of the hood roughly and then yeah will flip over and so you know see if we get a little more slickness out of all right I'm gonna do the full really blast it's there here you go I'll tree up some product so and I'm just gonna kind of follow that easily wipe it in like you know once I cover my half of the hood I will flip it over the product smells very nice great whip over they even fresh fresh scent you know I feel like becoming even more slick here to be honest it feels great you don't why Ryan you're adding more sio2 right adding some more sio2 okay you want to write prep more as those now I I'm gonna go with the four as well does that really make it successful for you go to a get me a dry section there you dry sides there thank you very much okay so there's that initial wife to get it on there yes I feel the slickness coming on yep I don't see any so dry there you go yeah keep okay yeah hit those spine misalignment for my angle here I don't see any streaking so yeah should any streaking and that I mean that could be leave a pretty clean panel here but very clean very yeah it was better I think it feels better than it did yeah it it definitely definitely feels better than just the hybrid ceramic wax alone in my opinion all right Ryan quick wrap-up on our McGuire's hybrid ceramic line here what do you think yeah we got the hybrid ceramic wax hybrid ceramic detailer I think using these two products together is a really good combo to make your your vehicle's finish look great and to protect it yeah it was it's pretty easy actually truth be told the one thing this is in my mind is the longevity but if you're like we said continually using these like each walk right and then in between washes I think you're always gonna have a nice layer of protection with hydrophobic properties I agree I agree they don't specifically call out how long protection lasts but again yeah if you're using it with each wash say monthly and then in between those washes if your vehicle is lightly dusty you know using the detailer then I mean you're always adding sio2 ceramic protection I mean it's it's a winning combo right there in there again I know I'm repeating myself but it worth said it's worth saying they're super easy to use yeah good a good value for the money good brand name that we all know and you know everybody respects McGuire's so well now maybe not everybody but and this I want to tell you what this is even feeling a little slicker to me yeah it's almost like oh yeah are you great good call Brando to throw that out there look like conceive and feel and slicker check out McGuire's a hybrid
