Megan Thee Stallion talks about getting a college degree, her acting career, & importance of unity

what's going on guys it's Jazzy and I'm here with Megan the stallion [Music] Miss stallion how you doing today I feel good I'm excited I'm also excited too all right everyone so Megan the stallion is college educated Megan Pete [Applause] so so I was earning a degree in higher education especially in health administration important to you um I feel like I really wanted to give my degree not just for myself I really wanted to get it for my mom and my grandma I was like dang I really wish I could get involved in it some kind of way and help everybody be able to take care of their grandma in a in a cool way right and it's great that you're willing to help people in need especially with your degree and remember guys education is important and life teaches you a lot but it's important to learn in the classroom too yes apart from being a musician what are some goals and aspirations you have for yourself hmm besides being the hot girl coach I really want to become a director like I really see that for myself like after this I really look up to like Queen Latifah and Ice Cube and I feel like I can see myself going down that path definitely and I interviewed Ice Cube all right guys so we're back with Mr Ice Cube so how you doing today there are many musicians that transitioned into acting and are very successful so who are some people that inspired you to tap into acting too uh Ice Cube Queen Latifah uh looking at like their path I'm like wow like they bossed up from music to the film space Not only as actors and actresses but behind the scenes producers writers all that I'm like I could do that too you're definitely kidding I believe in you and as I said I interviewed Ice Cube and he told me that um a movie producer named John Singleton followed him around for two years and tried to convince Ice Cube to act in boys in the hood and Ice Cube at first he didn't believe in himself but he tried it and look at him now he's a successful actor he has so many hit movies and he's just very great in general and I'm pretty sure you can do the same if you put your mind into it if you saw I can do it I'm pretty sure I can yeah definitely well I know women empowerment and self-love means a lot for you so why is it so important for us ladies to unite and support each other um I feel like in this day and age like just in all days and ages I feel like in the world women are always like told what they should be and what they can't be and what they should do and you know just I feel like we have a lot of pressure on this so I feel like as women we should just always uplift each other because we always going through something and I feel like just a hug or a compliment or a smile or just some encouraging words can go a long way especially from another woman it's good to support other women it's good for us to unite together and instead of tearing each other apart we should lift each other up you know build each other up definitely so all right Miss Megan so you have a new album and fans want to know the creative process you put into it and what to expect hmm I feel like the hotties should expect to get a little bit more deeper in my head and I feel like they should be able to see another side of me and I'm excited about this I definitely wrote this all over the world like I didn't only write it in the states uh I was in Europe writing some of it I was in Miami writing some of it I was in LA writing some of it so I feel like the hotties are going to see a well-traveled making the stallion this album oh well traveled well I can't wait to see that and I'm pretty sure that all your fans are very hyped and excited to see your new music your new album and just new you yeah new year new me ah well can you please share some where's the motivation to everyone watching my show this this girl is amazing if y'all work as half as hard as her I'm pretty sure y'all gonna be everything y'all want to be in life just stay consistent the grind Don't Stop The Grind don't last for a week we gotta keep going uh and how do you go listen to dramazine ah well you heard it guys from Megan stallion herself you gotta work hard and believe in yourself so until next time jazzing out
