number one question I get asked how do you organize your stuff Christina honey we're going to use all of these things you buy how do you organize your busy bags Christina how do you organize so here's the thing and the secret and you're probably going to be surprised I'm not very organized by the way having to give away on this right now from last Friday go check it out see the thing is I do have some organizational videos on my channel their playlists about busy bags and puzzle organization and crafts closets but here's the thing they are a whole tailored to my house than my closet in my situation and I don't necessarily fit your organization the purple alphabet is known for busy bags and this is my current stash and it's locked if you've seen this before it's because I showed it in my busy bag organizational video from maybe almost a year ago year and a half ago it's been a quite a while and I showed you how I just keep them all in this tote because this is the best place I had to kind of put them all together in one spot but every now and then that I would say maybe every three months or so I go through it and I make sure that all the activities apply to my kids skill levels and they haven't grown anything so I thought for this first one I would show you how I pull everything out and go through and decide what is great for my kids and not so great and then what I do with it after there is a little bit more than just busy buy stuff in here but I'm going to start with the busy FedEx justice to get that work done [Music] man it's a lot we got a lot of things to go through so I want to try and show you as much as I possibly can as quickly as I can this one is a fund and noodle activity card set I did a whole video review on this one there's all kinds of different activities on here and on the back there's numbers and dots and you roll the duct and then whatever comes up on the die you dick turn over and perform that action this is a really great moving activity this one is staying lacing cards I bought these a long time ago I think when my kids turned 18 months or so and I just your basic C C shapes with some lacing yarn that come with them we got a lot of use out of these but you know what I think we're kind of over lacing cards so these are going to go this one was a free printable DIY for snowflakes and shapes using cotton swabs we haven't really used this one much so since its new I'm going to go ahead and keep it but if they don't use it within the next couple months I'm probably going to get rid of it this was very very very popular with my kids it's a box filled with pony beads sport lacing on two pipe cleaners and they always love to make little bracelets out of them this one is going to stay probably just for a little bit longer here is a target one this one is on shape and the names of shape so you would pin the clothespin on the correct shape that has the word on it this one I have to say probably needs some work is we don't know those words yet and because of that sometimes I put city busy bags in a pile for instance if I'm not sure if this is a skill my kids know I'll go ahead and set this one aside and work on it just to check to see if they know it or not I have a feeling they don't know this one so it's worth sticking around until they've mastered it this one is a dice game that is all spread out here in the bag so there's a set of die and all of these carts that you would match up the correct number to the card there's lots of cards in here to practice with one so we're going to keep this one too this one was a target dollar spot ice cream number match where the tops would match with bottom with the correct number front and back this is definitely a skill that we have mastered for sure so I think this one is going to go in the giveaway pile this one is also from the target dollar spot it's a number wheel so you match up the number to the clothespin which is a really great activity it's also a really good game that you can DIY yourself if you wanted to we've also mastered this one so this is definitely going to go in the giveaway foam blocks what a favorite this is probably one from one of my very first videos I did on YouTube so it has a lot of sentimental value but there are laminated pages here that have the different colored blocks and you would match up the blocks to the correct order there is also an extension to this for you and mimic kind of like a Rubik's Cube thing the patterns and a bigger square so this is a more challenging one so I'm going to go ahead and keep the blocks and the strips just in case this is a money busy bag which we really haven't done too much on yet so I know I'm definitely going to keep this but I did want to show you I have coins and here these came from target dollar spot and then I did the Montessori 3-part cards with the coin the name of the coin and then the coin with the name on it so these are matching cards for a Montessori three-card game this is my water exploring kit inside I have different items to do water transfer with this is a garlic press I believe so you can put a sponge in here and speaking of sponges here are the sponges get them wet in a water table and squeeze out the water that way I also have our little squirter and then two containers to do a water transfer from Bowl to bowl with the squirter or with the sponges another target game where you find the missing number and there's different sequences on each card and then the clothespins that you would match for the number on them so 16 17 18 I think that since these go up to 20 then we're going to keep these and I'm going to check their skill level to see if this comes easy I'm not sure my three-year-old can handle it yet so I'm going to keep it in Z to try to see if they know how to do it pile there's a couple in here these are mostly laminated cards ah yes these are lifecycle cards of a flower and a fruit and apple I'm going to keep a hold of these I definitely think I'll use those again and these are from this skeleton video I did around Halloween time for parts of the skeletons and they are Montessori three part cards plus some labeling cards so we're going to keep these around for one Halloween comes around and we have our little school in the dark skeleton up these are from target dollar spot they are capital and lowercase letter match I definitely know that this is a skill that they already know so unfortunately as much as I love them I'm going to have to give these away that's the worst part about is when you love the material pair playing with and you have to give them away because it's too easy this is a felt busy bag puzzle that I purchased off Etsy and that's sweet so definitely something that is very easy for my child right now and they probably would be interested in it so this is going to be a giveaway these are sight-word marshmallow skewers it came from the EMAs from monster packaged in awhile ago which is a subscription box and they've got some sight words on here so you turn them over when you flip them over you would say the word I think that since we don't know these sight words quite yet I'm almost maybe we do so I'm going to put these in the try to see if it fits or skill level and if they do then we will keep them but if they know all the words we will put them in our giveaway and when I say giveaway I mean giveaway our sale a month having a giveaway on the channel but I'll give away the items and donate them or I'll put them up on my personal Facebook page to sell target phonics cards so you would clip on a clothespin to the beginnings down once again we've gotten pretty good at phonics so I'm going to put this in to try to see where we are pile these clothes since each have a letter on them a letter of the alphabet and they go with the set of cards here to spell out the words and there's a ton of words in here I think this is still relevant to what we need to do good letter recognition and letter match and fine motor with the closed so this is going to be a keeper particularly because there's a lot of pieces on here who days of the week definitely know we're going to still use this and they have clips here to do the matching for the days of the week this came from the target dollar section - oh this was an oldie but goodie so there's all these popsicle sticks I'm sure you've seen this one all over Pinterest where you put the velcro on the pieces and you can have a little stem construction set that way then you can have these little cards that I made myself and laminated to do some color matching very simple ones to more complex perhaps say my kids have not played with this in a very very long time so I want to put it in the to try piles just to be sure they have no interest in it another kind of color recognition and ordering game so there's these different cards that have the test tubes here's the test tubes and the little pom-poms that match the color so you just have to put them in the correct order I'm going to keep this one our shout out cards we showed these in our Etsy giveaway long time ago my favorite shops from Etsy where you look for the similar items this one's a slight Ward's pack and these tins there's a letters one and I think a numbers one too so we're going to hold on to these because they are excellent this is a what different apples game so this came from our Apple video not too long ago so there's four pictures on each card that I eliminated and you have to pick which picture is different by placing a little marker on that square I think that this skill is probably past our level so I'm going to put this one in the giveaway pile and these are numbers flashcards that we would do the Montessori counting activity so we put the flashcard down and put out six of the beads directly under it like that so actually my three-year-old still likes doing this one so they're going to keep the flashcards because you can always use number of flashcards and then I also have these word ones that we're working on reading the word so I'm going to be it isn't really a busy bag but it's in my busy bag activity kits it's actually from Lakeshore Learning I'll even know if they still have it anymore but it's what doesn't belong so this is little or what goes together has this little portfolio that opens up and all of these cards and a main card plus all the little cards so you have one of these pictures and then you match the items from the little cards that go with that scene this has become very very easy for this little guys been sitting in our busy bag box for a while it's the alphabet cards that kind of have this little hologram to them see how that changes and then on the back of there's some dry erase reading I just think that we have so many alphabet flashcards that this one is probably surplus and they just don't seem to pick it up and play with it anymore so I'm going to put this in our to sell or give away pile these are sequencing puzzles from the target dollar spot to set some feathers I think maybe twelve puzzles in total where the numbers are on the bottom and you organizing them to make a picture like a puzzle so one through ten I think actually might be 220 but we've messed with those numbers and I think that it's safe to pass these on as well so this first one was a habitat match this is from Target and you would just match up the correct animal to the correct habitat and then this one was a lease match so you match up the silhouette to the leaf I think I'm going to keep both of those just for now this is another great block set that came from a Legacy Learning Academy they're an Etsy shop so they have these cards here and in the matching block set they have these triangles on here so you have to make sure you match them up correctly to the picture to make the figure these were going to be a definite Jeep if we enjoy these this one is a mood bag so in here was a sorting game Islamic native pictures I talked about this one in a video that I did about emotions and I have the emotions here and they would sort them which one is it are they happy are they sad and then this one is our emotions card from so awesome is another fabulous company that I found on Instagram that's really really cool so I love these cards they're not going anywhere this one is a DIY puzzle if you've watched my how to make a wooden block puzzle this one of them which was a frozen themed puzzle you could switch around the bodies or match them all up with the characters from frozen and then also in that video we made a Daniel Tiger wooden block puzzle to phonics wheel puzzle from target dollar spot and that really you liking this one very much I just just don't like the way it works I was kind of holding on to it for a while because we were working on a lot of phonics things but I think this is just going to go in this cell giveaway pile this one is from Emma's from Monster subscription box which we really love but there there's a math problem right here and you call the math problem by putting the shelves on this was a Dollar Tree game or where you put the animal card on top of your head and you have to guess what you might have there's a sec of cards and some headbands to play it just a lot of fun so I'm going to definitely do I keep this on hand so that's all for the busy bags but I still have some other things that I keep inside this container that I'll share with you first off are these little boxes they all come from the dollar store each one of them has a little something different actually these probably came from Walmart actually these are our wax yarn string test and also use them with these cards that I keep inside the box but I know erasers from the target dollar section the table scattered gems these are heart shapes from the dollar store but mixed in here also numbers so we can do some counting activities or math activities or so these are the Jenga or the small wooden blocks pieces that come from the dollar store once again another great manipulative or just to play around with and stack and then in here are my Dollar Tree dominoes I had a whole video that I did about Dollar Tree domino activities which is a lot of fun some of the things you can do with these so it's nice to have those as well all of these were key bit and I have some other randomness inside of this box too but just a good place to keep them so the rainbow scratch paper that comes from Lakeshore Learning rubbing plates that are textured from lakeshore may have a set of stencils I want to say that these came from Walmart these are some number stamps they're just easier to keep in this box and I have access to them very quickly but they are dotted line numbers so you can do some tracing right over them this is a bag that goes to another dry erase board from Target dollar slot so there's letters and numbers in here so I just keep them in here because we use them with that board but they might also want to use them as I just an activity on their own this is a bag of our Polish Jones if you've been watching my Instagram feed you know how we use these in activities just for exploration and talking about and they're pretty and we use them with a glass smear so that's where I keep my whole bag when we're not using them my fabric squares which have been used in several activities over the years since they were babies and if you're watching my channel from the beginning you know how I've used this little package of fabric squares so there's lots of things we can do but I think at some point I might use these for little sewing projects so I'm just holding onto them to see if I get inspired to use them again if you have any ideas for these let me know down below in the comments but I have used them for various activities for babies in my life this is a target dollar spot tic-tac-toe game and my fund a noodle tracing card set which I did a video about a long time ago but their alphabet cards or the dry erase pen and you just would trace them and then there's a little cute activity to do to get your kids moving I also have my set of counting bears one my very first purple alphabet videos with on these counselling bears I love them so I have my set still and we still can use those as well as the sequencing bear card and then lastly I have this little poly envelope filled with workbooks that we use and the reason why I keep these in the busy bag box is because my busy packed box is down low and my kids can reach in and get them but these are some of my favorite dry erase books I've done videos on all of these before I believe this is an early learning activity book this is a adopt-a-thought book with mazes which is great for prewriting this one to match it and then these two are from Lakeshore Learning and they are the pre writing and dry erase books and drawing lines and just getting ready to do real writing towards and and so now it's time to put everything back in the box [Music] if you like this organizational video let me know down below in the comments also let me know what other kinds of organizational videos do you like to see on my channel I love to hear your feedback and I will eventually probably do the idea if you mention it make sure to click subscribe to see more videos like this and to give me a thumbs up to show your love
